Grow Timeline (18 updates)
I took of the lower branch and put some LST Clips on. This time i wanna dive more into the training methods to create a sea of green. So every branch is nice and even at the same high before flower. Later on we might top the branches to create more of them, but not now.
As u see, i added a new set of training clips on 2 of the plants. They seem to do very well, keeping theyre heads right up and thats so enjoyable. The lowest branches are now exposed for the light and should develop nice branches later on.
I watered 4l with a ph of 6,5 and did use hesi npk-fertilizer, vitamins and enzymes.
At first i was afraid to break the stems but u should squish them and maybe have a bit of dry back in the earth so the cells arent filled with water and they bend nicer then. It shouldnt be so hard anymore if u squish them enough.
Look at this Beautys. I kept them unter the net and i seems to progress very good on the papaya bomb. But the 2 White Widows on the right just stays small and compact. But they are so bushy. I have to tuck some of the leaves EVERY DAY.
Today watered and fertilized the plants with a ph of 6,5.
We have the first nice flowers on the left papaya bomb which is a female. Lucky me. It was just a bagseed of my medical Weed which i really like.
The 2 widows on the right are also showing up first flowers, but seem to be a little bit behind. Also i think we have to lollipop the plants in the next few days.
Hello my Fellas, i totally forgot the flowers the last 2 weeks and i didnt water them for one week. So they totally got dry and if found them with hanging brown crusty leaves yesterday. I watered them and today they look more healthy. And seems like they recovered the stress. They also got some nutrients today. I'm happy they did just get off the lower leaves. i wanted to lollipop them a few weeks ago which i totally forgot. Now the lollipopping solved itself by my dumbness😂
Wish me luck i don't forget them the next weeks✌️
We survived the dry situation of the last week. I watered and fed the plants yesterday with a p/k booster and the normal feding program from hesi. The next few days we will continue to water. The left plant needs 6l water every 2 days. The two plants on the right need much less. They use the 6 l of the water reservoir in a week.
No i use 5 gallon fabricpots filled with earth. It was professional grow mix from floragard. The best is I dont have to use fertilizers the first 4-6 weeks and just let it grow.
Well thats nice i just got sick of dealing with soil getting stiff and having watering take so long i just dump in now i had to areate the soil and had issues with knats no more of either
Why dont u use nematodes? I love them against gnats and thrips. Jeah watering is really time consuming but since ive got the waterreservoir under the fabric pots its easier
Last Weekend i was at the Mary Jane in Berlin and got some new Seeds for the next Run. My flowers still thriving and the buds stacking up. The 2 white widows on the right side are increasing the water amount needed. Seems good so far. They got feeded with Plagron additives for better terpenes, buds and taste. Maybe a bit late but i wanted to try it out.
Flowers are beautiful and the smell is amazing. Something between fruity and hash.
As u see I have some signs of dry stress on the upper right white Widow ( because i forgot to water the plants) and a because of that we see overfeeding symptoms bcs the nutrients were to strong to not being diluted and they build up. It seems with regullary watering and PH checks it doesnt get worse anymore. I cut of the crispy leaves.
Wow, i think they look great. So many more buds than my grow.
Lets check the trichomes. I will give it one more week to get more brown trichomes.
Day 119 of Week 10. Flowers looking good and I water it with plain water.
I want 10% amber Trichomes before harvest.
We have to wait a little bit more.
Your not giving any nitrogen at all thru flower or is that why do dark still? Why I was saying is because she looks like she has way too much nitrogen in her soil. An your supposed to almost stop all nitrogen as soon as you flip or a couple weeks into flower your supposed to stop. Jus a headsup for next time
i want to decrease the nutrients that build up in the soil when i forgot to water them. i fed them last week for the last time and as long as the leaves are dark green they have enough. And also i wanted to start with harvest but the trichomes need a little bit more time.
Yessir. What I was saying was you were supposed to stop all nitrogen a week or so into flower. So yes you'll have to flush or something to get her to start fading
The last weeks are really exiciting. The smell is getting more and better every day but the trichomes are still not so ripe like i would have to. So we continue with watering(the plant on the left still require a lot up to 4 liters every day)
We will continue for at least one more week and then evaluate. The leaves get yellow and the plants use all her ressources, we are on track for harvest soon.
Flowers and trichomes seemed to be good and i did harvest today. I put the left big flower in dry ferm bags and hanged the smaller 2 white widows in the tent. We start drying now.
I trim and packed the flowers into bags for curing.
The smell of the one white widow is like fuel, the second white widow is a bit less stinky, and the papaya bomb hast a very sour smell to it like lemon and i am very happy for this Grow. Now i am curing it.
I set up a new grow yesterday with Autoflowers. So i will end this Growreport and we will see us in the next grow.
Yeh. They're not for me. I spent an entire year just growing autos and I wasn't impressed. I only have so much space to grow. Maybe if I could grow them and grow photos at the same time, I'd continue my research. But currently I'm not in that position. My biggest issue was the time it takes for them to mature. I mean to get 10% amber. After a plant flowers for 12, 13 weeks, they just want to die and they begin to degrade in other areas that affects the overall quality of the dried product. The terps begin to dissipate and you lose a lot waiting on them to mature. I took a few at the 10 week point and they were pretty Larfy. Some weren't bad. But if you cut before the swell is complete you lose a lot. You can howerver process them into hash or edibles, and that's ultimately what I did. But I prefer to grow a plant that I know will finish before it's trying to fucking "die on the vine" with all the juicy aromas, and with some leaves intact.
Jeah i tried one time to grow an auto with 18/6 and later 12/12 bcs i had also a photo in the tent. And because it wasnt so nice i wanted to give it a try this time with full light and maybe it will get better. But i kind of think that autoflowers are better for outdoor and phots are totally good for tent users. But as i am a beginner i have to try it out. And this time i got nice seeds and i hope they will get good.
Yeah that's bad to do in flowering your lucky dude but I would bet my bottom dollar it's gonna hurt final yeild
Jeah, might be a smaller yield in the future... but i see it as a learning 😄
That is true
