Why not other way? Jus wondering your way works. it's jus harder to know what they are doing.

I've never done it that way. I'm a newbie trying to grow and learn.

They've been on the porch which gets very little sunlight. I'm going to move them into the sun and hope for the best.

That will help an keep soil moist you don't want it too dry out until plants pokes thru

One of the best seed to cure videos I like is from a guy with a channel name of strain show but he got banned from YouTube for cannabis content but he has a free patreon where he up loads a lot of his good videos so go to patreon.com or google and look up strain show

Yeah it’s actually a few of his videos into one but dude the way I cure now I got from him from this video and where it’s a bunch of videos into one it makes it easy to skip to a certain part

I make grow journals I have one main one that write the way I do things and feeding charts and just something and info I can take to every grow with me and then I get composition notebooks for each new season (or grow) and write what I did and what the plant did (I found a grow book of mine from 1997 the other day) it really helps one writing stuff down helps you remember it and you always have something you can refer back to in future grows

Yeah I can already see the advantages of keeping a grow journal. My memory is not so good so it will be a special benefit for me to write it down so I can go back and see what, when and how I did what. It can also Let me know what I did wrong so that I don't repeat it. I didn't realize what all went into a successful grow.

Dude when you have had a prob and figured it out then 4 grows later you get the same prob but can’t remember what you did you can grab your journal lol it really is good tool
