Grow Timeline (12 updates)
they are really taking off , however with the experience I have ( which isn’t much) the taller thinner plant will eventually die off , I am hoping not but it happened before so…..the other two with the shells still on their leaves , they are thicker stemmed and slower growing so we will see the outcome in a few days , here is what they look like
Haven’t touched them just letting them soak in sun rays and letting them establish themselves 🩷🦋
Finally found another female grower surprised a lot more females don’t . I met a lot of talented female growers
I’ve met a few female growers they were all so talented
These little plants are truly amazing , they are from Fastbuds and when I tell you less then 12 hrs they already had roots and less then a week and they are more then 2” above the soil 🩷
That stretch "legs" is not a good thing. It reaching that tall this early will give an extremely weak main stalk. And eventually will just fall over from its own weight. It needs more light intensity or move the light closer.
Thank you
You may want to consider moving lights a bit closer to prevent to much stretching, just looking like they are reaching out for light ✌️
So I moved my light closer to my plants like everyone suggested, thank you for that , since today is a sunny day they are basking out in the sunshine ☀️ and looking happier
Man to much tall, more light, new spot
Put something to hold those up or put more dirt jus make sure it's drier than what u already have in the cup so stem doesn't rot pwease 🤧especially the taller ones they gona fall over kink an die 🥀
Haven’t watered them they didn’t need it I like to squeeze the soil around them so they can get fresh oxygen down to their roots….i will water them as soon as the soil is thoroughly dried out then I will squeeze and water
Everyone likes a little squeeze and water. I know I personally like being squeezed and watered before I go to bed. 🤣👊
So I have been using my weak ass grow light and the sun ☀️ but they are still thin any suggestions
Add silica too your feedings, also might add mycorrhiza for the roots. Hope it helps
Thanks 😊
Fan on low not pointing on them. And sometimes switching back an forth between lights is hard on them.
An direct actual sunlight Is hard on a seedling so be careful on that too please put something around them so they don't get blown over or jus more soil even an cone it towards stem 🙈😶
They maybe in shock, from different light intensities, Also may i ask what light is it your using
Light ring cheap plant light Offa Amazon I think....
Oh an don't water from now on until they dry out a lil. Pot plants need a dry back to breathe especially if soil is all soaked
Ty duly noted
Pm me if you have any questions if I can help I will
I forgot the name of it but I got it at Home Depot it’s a light balb with full spectrum light so
I did that today so hopefully it works, thank you btw 👍
Good Mornin My suggestion a bigger light and maybe a couple coffee straws n twine to hold them up theyre lookin stretched (a low light reach) they get top heavy and fall over Full sun or a larger light
I moved one of them into a bigger pot , so far doing well , have given her some fertilizer so hopefully she will be ok also the two in the smaller pots will be transplanted into bigger pots to make their life easier lol , I want them to have as much room as they possibly can to stretch and deep rooted , but they are looking amazing , added some silica to the soil before adding her
They look like they're not getting enough light. Whats their light source?
I would have planted that long thin one a lot deeper.
Couple of helpful suggestions to get you started, use a misting spray bottle for the first 10-14 days. You are using too much water. They don’t have a root system yet so they drowned. Also use a 50/50 mixing of soil and perlite, they like lots of air when young. Humidity is key they get their water from the air when they don’t have roots yet. When you do start to water, water from the bottom to develop better roots. And for fast growth soil temperatures need to be higher 70s 75-80 degrees hopefully this helps you.
Red solo cups with holes in the bottom work well for starting.
Thank you 🙏🏻
