Initial planting. The first two seeds from this pack failed to germinate (almost certainly my fault)

A little growth from the previous day. First true leaves starting to appear.

Daily update. Growing looks ok at this point.

Transplanted from cups to media. This is where my problems begin.

It might not be easy to tell from these photos, but the leaves are starting to be too light of a color.

The color is off. I know that my nutrients had precipitated, and I'd remixed them with hot water and then used them at a higher strength, but the preciprates never really re-incorporated.

Nutrients at this point is Dyna-Gro Grow.

I'm starting to get disheartened here.

So I'm still top watering twice a day, but the color isn't looking good. It's hard to see here (especially because one of the photos is out of focus) but the tips aren't looking good. 😭

I'm photographing it less because I'm feeling kind of ashamed about how it's going at this point (it does get better...)

Color is really bad. This is the last time I photographed for a few days. Necrosis is starting to appear on the leaves and I'm feeling defeated, but I'm pretty sure this is due to the precipitated nutrients. Chin up...

I was feeling pretty down on the grow at this point, but realized that *something* needed to change, and knowing that the fertilizer had precipitated, it seemed the most likely cause.

I don't have any pictures from the last few days, but from what I can match online I have a potassium deficiency.

Went to Greener Gardens in Richfield, MN, and picked up the three bottle General Hydroponics Flora series.

Damage is done, and you can see in these photos that the older growth is looking bad. Newer growth looks ok, but worried about how it's going.

At this point I'm watering through several times a day (about 300mL at a time) to try to flush out the existing water and fertilizer to replace with the new.

The older grow still looks bad, but finally I'm not seeing signs of things getting worse. Continuing with top water high frequency fertigation, but at least my mood towards the grow has improved.

At this point, only the oldest growth looks bad. New growth is dark green as it should be. Keeping vigilant 🙏

Looks to be still improving, and I'm feeling confident that the problem was with the precipitated nutrients. I probably should have given up on them sooner.

Top watering for a few more days, and then I'll move it into the Autopot base. Definitely feeling better about where this grow is headed. ❤️

Necrosis isn't spreading, so I think things are under control. Some LST here. I'll probably move to the Autopot bases tomorrow of day after. 😍

Moved the pots off of trays/risers to the Autopot bases and turned it on. Some slight training with tie wires. Keeping an eye on leaf color.

Using the three part Flora schedule, but added half strength calmag as well.

Been too long since I posted. It'll need some trimming soon. Maybe tomorrow or day after.

Took her outside for a haircut and lightly tied down. Some of the longer stems. Before and after photos.
