Yep your light is to close back up look at manufacturers recommendation at the stage u at . U at early veg stage . Umm it needs cal/ mag and nitrogen. Hope this helps

Hi funkey i was at 15 inch recommended is 18 inch so im uping thr light and i have always added extra calmag since using coco as it leaches it . Thank you for the advice much appriecatied

They all got feed today, each pot had 1liter of canna a and b at 4 ml per liter and calmag at 1ml per liter full strengh , 3 days ago had 1/4 strengh so hopefully by next feed in 3 days there color should have returned and they will be at the 5th node so ill be starting a auto drip system drain to waste . Topping at node 3 and low stress training to accomatadate a scrogg net at late veg

I run a halo dripper so as long as i got 2 inch clearance from top of soil to lowest branch then i have plently of room also help me keep my plants lower so im no streching to to bk for maintanace . Ive been doing this for 6 years now but i still struggle at the seedling and early veg lol but thank you for the advice . Always helpfully to get another perspective incase i miss anything

That’s something I accealed with this year so what I did was filled my solo cup half way with compost and peat 60% peat rest compost or worm castings would work then very top I filled it with pure peat with 50% perlite . I leave a little space at top . Um I use a heat pad and cover solo cup with bottom of a tea bottle I cut out it fits perfectly in solo cup to keep it covered while germinating as soon as it pops I hit with cal/ mag . And I always ph water for seedlings small cup easy to screw up ph . Idk I transplant in 10 days I’m full of roots . But yea fix it how u want and take what peices u like but that’s how I treat a seedling and I don’t feed until I transfer unless needed then it’s light feed

Ive only ever used roit rooting blocks in a dome and heat matt with darkness till they pop then before i bought the ac germination kit i was using a 150w cfl with hood to grow them till early vegaround 2/3 weeks then put under the sf4000 after that in final pots useing coco and perlite with clay balls . I use canna start for the 1st 2 week till the little round leaves yellow and fall off then start on canna coco a and b

We all go are ways I know I’m sticking to mines with a fast start . I never realized they needed cal / mag right away was always scared to cause of the nitrogen in it but yea not Evan a day old I been giving them humbult secret cal/ mag it has iron it too . I did look at your canna start , yea I never new there was starter nutes lol

Interesting to know someone else’s way I might try them root riot cubes someday . But u ussally buy Scott’s potting mix to germ in only 5$ for 1 cubic foot I just add perlite and mushrooms compost probably dang near same thing as root riot

Tbh probaly ,they are peat based so you are just doing a larger version if you do what you say in solo cups and ive used canna start for a few years now all the basic nutes in piss water strengh lol good for 1st 2 week or untill the colax... them small round leaves before the true leaf starts to yellow

Yea ive been running lights at night only so 8pm to 8am then dark during the daytime it makes it much easier ive had to do that last couple runs

Have you ever considered the AC Infinity IONFRAME EVO6 ? It's an amazing unit and the driver is detachable so you can mount it outside the tent for decreased heat soaking.

Tbh ive been looking at that for my next light, as my sf4000 is around 6 year old now but she still got full specrum and all the leds are still working so ill run that bitch till it needs replacing lol but i am looki g at undercanopy as i run scroggs most of the time. normally dont have heat issues like this in the uk but we have unfavourable weather at mo almost 35c in places this week so its screwed up my heat but once weather normalizes ill be at 100 percent power power again with temps at 28 max
