Grow Timeline (7 updates)
Day 1
Roma tomato seed started on 05/26/26. Started with ¼ strength of Master Blend 4-18-38, ec around 1.0. ph to 6.5. seedlings look good 👍🏿
Seedlings look good so far. Got a little algae growth on the clay pebbles, tho I'm not worried about it because this wont be their forever home. BTW my son say his is bigger than mine (the seedlings)and I'll be damned if I get beat by a 5 year old 😤
Lol that’s funny!! Family king tho for real I wish I had a lil one around I’m finally at the age I wish I would of had kids at 50 that’s easy man my sex drive is really dropping never thought I see the day but yep been verified by dr . I have to get testtrone shots in my butt every week otherwise it won’t work sorry for to much info but that’s what I have to look forward to when u get old !!’
Still in the same water I started them in. Getting bigger
Damn the one on the left is going hard that's a ton of new growth since the other day when you last shared a picture that I saw
Right?! That one is my son's plant (he claims 😂) i had to raise the light because it was getting up there! Almost time to put them on the table
Nice nice my daughter tried to claim my pineapple express from last run as hers early on I told her I had a extra seed for that strain if she wanted i would help her get it started then she could use my nutes and one of my 3 gal fabric pots and grow one of her own... She said no I just want half the bud you harvest 🤣🤣🤣 kids are funny sometimes
Same that has to different running hydro like . Mine got fish n kelp when I’m not seeing growth and I think they need it my ocean forest was spent so I knew I could
Update
As above, so below. True in a lot of ways but yes I like see that stuff too and it’s amazing how far you can go with hydro I use to know a guy that had fish in a tank of water and the water would flow from that tank into and past the plants and roots then back to the fish tank he said they ate the bad shit and then fertilized the plants
Oh I c so that’s its own special thing? I never seen that before. I only really know about growing in soil. I’ve had a few friends back in the day do some hydro but that’s about it
Oh yeah. I'd say its self sufficient in a way but ive never tried it. If you got any questions about hydro tho, feel free to ask me anything 🤙🏿
Transferred both plants to the table and got the trellis net set up. Covered the table with mylar for better root growth. Ph water to 6.4 and ec is at 1.5. Plants looked a bit hungry from the 2+ weeks without a res change which tells me they'll take the nutrient bump well. Feeding them from a 20 gallon res, in hopes they eat like tanks. Glad im done with this one (for now), on to the next 👍🏿
Those are delicious! I started some outside and tasted one to make sure it wasn't poison and boy do i feel like ive missed out 🤣
My dad really grew up country and they had to have a garden for food growing up so every since I was little dad would always grow a garden with us even if it was a small one with just a few different kinds of vegetables but he always did things the old school ways like instead of buying fertilizer he would use manure and other natural things like to keep the deer away we would pee around the outside of the garden lol but it works that he he aways followed a farmers almanac for when to grow and things like that but no one grew sweet corn any sweeter lol
That is true fortune right there! Ive only recently heard of the farmers almanac and I need to know more! Do you think it has any effect on indoor grow?
Dude thats a really good question? I will have to look into that to be honest. I’ve had success with on outdoor gardens
Dude I was thinking on doing the same set up you have
Bro it works amazing
I belive I always thougth it was really hard and expensive to make a hydro system but it's not I guess it all depends on your imagination
Probably about 10 bucks to build this one. This is only 6 quarts
Damn I just noticed there tomatoes hahah I want to see this I put a whole pack a month and half ago and there flowering all ready im stoked
That's whats up bro and yeah these are tomatoes, taking a break from cannabis
These wont stay in these totes, only to grow the roots out
I did the 2 cup method and jesus they flew
