Turned on the Autopot System
Bottom feeding test went well, I'm turning on the actual gravity feeding system today.
Big rez outside and above the tent with nutrient water being gravity fed to the plants, also an air pump blowing air directly at the base/root system from underneath the plants inside the coco

Schwazz
Day 20 schwazz, only on 2 plants for testing while leaving the other 2 minimally defoliated.
So far the minimally defoliated ones seem to have thicker looking nugs but we'll see how they round out. Put 2 before pictures

What system are using? I've used the SF bottom wicking system with 4 plates and a separate reservoir. I used it once with a living soil grow. I waited till about 3 weeks before I flooded the plates and the plants absolutely loved it. It was the easiest grow I have ever done. Just took up a lot space. I kept the reservoir for my current coco grow however. But it is NOT gravity fed. And it was a pain in the ass to get it to work the way I need it to haha. I think I finally got it though. Maybe...
I'm using Autopots! I'd DIY'd a few different kinds of systems but got sick and tired of trying to min/max optimize my feeding and watering schedules. Autopots are gravity fed, as long as you get your plants started out correctly, it's pretty much autopilot just keep the rez full + balanced and they drink what they want when they want and grow vigorously
That's one fuck of a res to work with 😅 do the roots ever clog the system?
Cool. I've only heard good things about them. I'm still trying to find what I want to repeat over and over. This drip fed system I finally got working to my specs but goddamn. It took a lot of tweaking. And it's 100% diy. Well, as diy as a mainline attached to a pump with 6 emitters. The drip speed and amount took me a while, but I got it. I do need a drain to waste though. But I don't grow big plants. Not anymore. I just don't have the space. It's mostly about the grow for me. That's what I enjoy.
