First grow - LCG(seed), GG#4(seed [possibly gorilla cookies]), Jack Hearer(clone)
Grow Timeline (36 updates)
An update of the girls. Adjusted the lights up to hopefully get them to stretch their nodes a little. Gave them a little sip of some PH balanced water with some added minerals this evening. Also moved them around in the tent to change up the scenery a little.
you just made me think of an experiment. grow 2 clones. move 1 and keep the other stationary. is a measurable amount of energy lost or gained. I thank you for the ability to ponder this. helllooo new rabbit hole....
I don't know that the moving is doing anything but it relieves my itch a little to want to mess with them. This is my first grow so I'm still learning.
Was checking on the girls before bed and I must have been a little rough. I accidentally split one of the branches at the knuckle on the top of the main stem. 🤦 Put a strong twist tie on to help hold it up tight and in place. Unfortunately this will put the flip on hold for a few weeks. Crossing my fingers she heals up asap.
Was finally able to get some hardware for the second tent for the clones. Did a bigger defoliation which i should have waited for but i think I'll give them a couple days and they should be good. But yeah just waiting for the second controller and I'll be ready to flip to flower with my first grow!
My LCG girls are bushy even after some defoliation.
I think they look great. I'd rather them lean bushy then skimpy. Let em be. As long as you have plenty of light on them bud sites, that's all you need!
Try my best as a first time grower to defoliate as much as I'm comfortable to keep them open enough to have the light reach the bud sites
I tend to take to many pictures lol
that a great way to see the plants progress & good record keeping. need to keep notes on each cultivar we growing for future reference. good job 👍🔥
notebooks are good . I keep each cultivar I do separately & u can always look back on it . they also sell grow journal books but kind of waste of money . especially when there a dollar store in every shopping center
guerilla tents has the ones where u can extend the height. I heard some good things. give that a look
They don't seem to be looking too healthy 😕
Gaia Green Power Bloom dry amendments. I probably should have just watered. My first grow and I didn't realize, or do enough research to know that there would be nutrient buildup in soil. Unfortunately everything I've found and everyone that's seen the pictures have said nutrient burn. 😞 Hopefully I didn't hurt them too much. Crossing my fingers that if I just finish them out just watering they'll bounce back as much as they can.
Yeah definitely toxicity of some kind I have a harder time with soil cause things take longer to appear and fix than coco. The clawing could be nitrogen toxicity if the runoff ph is below 6.0 is a good indicator
Had to pull the Jack early so no pictures. Found seeds so thought maybe it had hermed and I never noticed. I chopped the Gorilla too since it was apparently an auto so it was definitely ready. With some investigation I believe I left the Gorilla too long and it hermed and got the Jack. I dried, trimmed, de-seeded, and am currently curing those two. So far with the wet trimming I've been doing on the Gelatos I've only seen a few seeds here and there so I'm not sure they got pollinated much. Still learning but I enjoy it so I will be continuing on this adventure.
