I had a few from the administration that didn’t pop as well & a couple I had to get rid of, due to being in hospital. I’ll try the rest this fall
the runt is the runt..that is all, im hopingit gets to point where it takes off. i will have troublekeeping a level canopy..both plants have rebounded well besides i may have gotten a bit overboard with watering(they seem a bit droopy).. light was increased to level 6 at 18 inches this week. need to get an accurate light meter
there is a free PPFD app for your phone, give that a try. You could always put your short plant on a box, to try to raise it up.
I have photone downloaded, but i'm a bit skeptical on how accurate the DLI is on it so im hesitate to trust the reading, but it does keep me in a ears shot....
I use PPFD METER, and it was only off by about 5 from my Spider Farmer meter. I also loaded it onto my wifes phone, and it was off by 3 from my phone.

started adding vivastrap to each watering. plant drinking a gallon every ther day.. VPD targeted at 1.1.... DLI 32-34
looks good brother! you can stretch that canopy more, don’t be afraid to open up the middle, tuck every branch you can. Filler up bud 👊
branches are hard as a rock, i broke 2 main leads at the stalk already.. will silica help me here??? I appreciate you taking time to drop a dime man 💪 🤙
yea it’s key in bending I bend those branches in ways they shouldn’t silica once a week

add it first before anything then wait 30-60mins before you add nutrients (silica first, cal mag last)
I second the silica. Stretch them out and fill that space
having a ph problem with runoff. 6.4 going in, 5 2 on runnoff

interesting..... will buffer ph and is a cal/mag supplement.. is it too late into the grow to use now?.. these gentics im running have a 9 week flower, i will definitely be adding at the beginning of next grow into the medium for sure
Not too late, but cut back on cal-mag as it's in it. Down to Earth makes them in small granules for rapid release.

have you given her any microbes 🦠 they are what buffer your ph. I wouldn’t be too concerned about runoff in soil. your plants look fine. color is right. I would just watch for yellowing or lighter color. you could be creating a problem that isn’t there. just my thoughts though.
I use a compost tea every 2 weeks. I always ph before watering, hardly ever test runnoff. I was curious to see were I was at with ppm this morning so I tested the run off..both plants were right at 480 ppm and 5.2 ph
with soil ph it’s better to do a soil ph test. they are cheap and easy to use and accurate.
when did you calibrate your pen last? just brainstorming. your plants look great . 👊
boughr it at the beginning of last run. to be completely honest, that thought ran thrue my mind yesterday morning... I need to calibrated it, I just pulled it from the box and assumed it was calibrated..
topdressed 5 tbls powerbloom 2-8-4 to each. each taking a gallon water every other day, and 1 gallon eveyother thrue water reservoir. good bud and trichomb production in the last few days. vpd has been targeted at 1.4 for mid flower..
I need to upgrade my lights. im curious to see if I can push them a bit more. I have the height at 12 inches this run versus 18 inches last run.

plants got compost tea this morning, water intake is slowing down a bit. have been running high VPD(1.4) since stretch. will slowly start to drop back down to finish at 1.1. flowers put on some wieght but not as much as i anticipated. purples starting to come in,i will upgrade light next grow to push plants harder.
gnat proplem has increased. added a fan at soil level. skip top water and let siol dry out a bit. considering adding a top layer of coarse perlite or coarse sand to keep these fuckers from laying eggs. everything else looks good
I got a tip for ya use misquote bites. cheap and easy rice hulls for on top instead of perlite
i just left my local garden store.. needed to grab a few things. Ended up shooti g the shit with the owner a bit he just suggested the same thing. Only difference he suggested i use a half inch of coarse sand as a top layer after the application of mosquito bits. i appreciate your feedback Six....... operation "kill those fuckers" is full swing 💪 💣 🔥 🔫
sand will work but rice hulls add silica when they break down also add aeration . I like using things that do multiple things. ether one will work for you.
Yea man i'm with you.. Rice hulls it is.. ill order on amazon now.. as far as the application just dress, the top of the grow bags? i'm guessing a gallon of rice hulls would be enough for 2 pots
it will cover lots more than 2. you need about 1/2”-3/4”thick of coverage. If you plan on using soil again, rice is the better choice.
ten4.. it will be here with the bits tommorow 11a.m. ive been super happy with my results using gia green living soil. i just picked up more this morning for my next run, ill be tranplanting seedlings tonight. i would like to move to running that RAW line in the future when i get more experience under my belt, but im enjoying the "set it and forget" side of the living soil. either way, man.Your input is always welcomed and you've got me through quite a few little sticky situations already.. props to you my man
removed self water trays, cleaned them out and sanitized, put new wicks in... Added rice hull and each plant got 1 gallon water with 4 tablespoons each galllon mosquito bits.. colors are starting to show on the buds, they did not bulk up like i wanted them 2. theres still 2-3 weeks left, hopefully they stack like crazy
not sure whats happening here with the fan leaves. They have almost stop taking water from the wick. have not top watered in 2 days. These are 2 completely different looking phenomes here.
nute lock? almost looks like burn the way the leaves curving down an yellow on edges but jus a thought
nutrient levels die off after you switch from a veg based mix to a flower based mix the nitrogen isn’t enough to keep the shade leaves alive. it’s normal when getting close to harvest. I usually have trimmed all mine off by this point personally.

I know. it’s like the DWC from spider farmer is literally the same one they sell at Amazon the difference is they stuck a sticker on the side of them but it’s literally the same. The reason I know is because I bought a single one a week prior before I bought the whole set.
