Grow Timeline (18 updates)
I started LST on the Collie Man Kush that topped itself to open it up more to the light.
The second Collie Man Kush got stretchy for reasons, but I topped her.
The 2 Kings Juice each got topped and 2 fan leaves taken off to open up the lower growth to the light.
Let's see what happens!
I chopped the big fan leaves off to get more light to the lower growth on the 2 Kings Juice (left). The Collie Man Kush bottom right got opened up a little more to get more tips going. The one in the back lost 2 big fan leaves up top to try to slow down verticle growth and give the others a chance to catch up. LST on that one will start soon.
I'm not sure what to do. I want to flip to flowering, but I want the short one to catch up a little bit. My plan right now is to defoliate heavily this week, give them a few days to recover and then flip. I'm open to all feedback!
It would be a pain with how bushy they are but you could totally tie down the taller ones while you flip and then they should all stretch pretty good. Or some people try topping the taller ones. Totally up to you. Some plants won't be as tall as others and that's okay. It's all genetics. when they start the stretch it could "in theory" be taller than the others.
I was already getting a plan in my head to super crop the stretchy one if needed. I think if I tie down the bushy ones as well, I can try to control the canopy that way.
Much appreciated bro 💪. I'll keep the updates coming so we'll see how this adventure ends together 🤣
I’m having to supercrop to try to level it out. But I’ve learned pliability is different from plant to plant.
So the Collie Man Kush is turning into a hardcore learning event. The short girl who topped herself got a clean up of her sucker leaves and shoots. The tall girl in the back got super cropped on 3 colas. I think I did ok, because they're already growing back towards the light a few hours later. I'll try to post an update on that in a few days.
The Kings Juice on the left are growing great. I defoliated them both a bit and opened them up with some garden wire. Let's see what happens.
We have a bit of faciation on 2 plants. I think i did something wrong, but I'm not sure what. I'm going to let them both ride. The super crops are doing great and there might be 1 or 2 more happening.
I have a White Widow auto, that looks similar. Is was started the same time as my other plants. The others are 2 weeks into flower. And she is stuck in Pre-Flower. I did fuck up, and have to graft two mains back on. They took, but that's when flowering paused.
Faciation. It's where the stems grow more flat like a ribbon and the cola should produce a spiral shaped bud. It should be interesting.
It looks great! Just now starting to show pistols. But it's been a nail biter :-) I update on Thursdays. Will post pictures then
First 3 pics are the before pics. The rest are after I cleaned them up a bit and corrected the deficiency. Let's see how they look in the morning.
always fun trying figure it out.
So, the wife got bit by a bug and had an allergic reaction. Not sure what bug, but she's good now. The plants got a little neglected because of that and overtime at work going on at the same time. It happens. I think I've got things back on track though. We don't stress. This is just a hobby and almost anything is fixable. The bugs are looking nice though 🫠.
glad she ok, and yes the plants still look good
is this a game of find the ones that match or is it one of those 3D puzzles. like a bunch of killer clown clone flowers 🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌸🌸
what's the key to feeding in soil. follow the ppm standards and feed every other week.
Work life and family life have been busy as hell. The plants are looking good though. The kings juice (left) are starting to fatten up and get frosty. Bonus pics of 2 of the mutated buds. The collie man kush (right) has been a lot of fun. The senescence is beautiful on the big one. I raised up the small one a bit more to get it better light and took out all the sucker leaves. I'm hoping she catches up.
I did a feeding the day before yesterday, and they should be ready for water tomorrow. The close up is my favorite Kings Juice bud. I'm hoping to have time to check some trichomes tomorrow and I'll update if I'm able to.
Yeah it's not too bad. I've only ever grown in normal gardening soil with mixed results. The plants seem to like the BioBizz more though so I think I'll stick with it.
check out some coco coir n sm fabric pots n it's on bro that soil compacts the roots more I used to do live soil till I tried coco n pertile now my plants are 3 going on start of three weeks vegg n the leaves are bigger than my hands and there low stress traind n suppercropped they are on steroids looking compared to my last in live soil bit I have to say it was quality as hell tho.
We're getting there! Almost to the finish line 🏁! I want to see a little more amber in the collie man kush, and by the time thats ready I think the kings juice will be ready too. They've slowed down in their water uptake, which is a sign to me that they're almost done as well. Exciting times my friends.
glorious 🙌
That one has mutated buds at opposite corners of the plant. Fasciation is what it's called. They look super neat.
Damn them buds looking fire!!!
We chopped today! I'm rushed with a list of stuff the wife needs me to get done today, but I wanted to update. All 4 plants are hanging. The pic stretchy girl is in pieces in the small tent and the others I lift whole and just cleaned up the fan leaves. I'll try to edit this later if there's time.
Thanks man. It was a fun adventure. Once that small tent is available again I'll be starting my next one. Just one plant, and I'm torn between 2 right now, but I'll figure it out.
It's a lot of fun man. Any questions, just post in the community. There's loads of great growers here who are willing to help 💪
ps i do have a question, so when do i start feeding nutes and which ones i have no idea is there anything that is readily available or comanly know as just so i know what to buy and when do i feed? TIA🙏
That all depends on what you're growing in dude. I assume soil, but some soils offer more nutes to start with than others. For that, fire up AI and ask away. Tell it the exact brand of soil you're using, and your location, and it can pin down a nute mix for you.
start the dry and cure countdown then share with you growmies 👀
Thats a wrap dudes. We got a decent yield. I was trimming during work hours (I love home office). Next up, Double Grape from Mephisto in the small tent. Stay tuned!
mine r in the 4 th quarter budding can't tell male/female everingham
