Grow Timeline (20 updates)
8 cups - pH 6.0, EC 1.1 (Excuse the choppy video it's an "8k" video and the app compressed it)
I did get around to flushing the old root ball ( is was curious how it looked) needless to say it's a clusterF of webbed roots 🤣
Feed- 10 cups @ 875 EC/ 5.9 pH
I have made the following environmental adjustments to "coast" the clone through my upcoming 7 day vacation. (My cloudforge T3 needs to stretch 3L for 7 days)
S22 - dimmed from 60% -> 40% (Reduced heat)
S16's- dimmed from 60% -> 10% (Reduced heat)
Exhaust- 40% -> 10% (Reduced air evacuation of humidity)
Vpd target - 0.9 -> 1.0 ( higher threshold trigger)
4" duct tube run from AC into the tents ceiling inlet to compensate for the lowered exhaust and the stationary clip fan is blowing the AC duct air down to mix.
Potential 10-15 cup feed (up from the current 8-10 cup) the day before I leave for a week to A- jumpstart humidity and B- stretch the feed as far as possible but I'll update that when the time comes.
She really thrives on 3-4 day dry backs as long as I keep my root zone dialed in so 🤞 it'll just be a temporary reduction in growth speed and nothing more!
Pics are before and after the Defol- I took mostly the older single leaf re-veg leaves and the big fans touching the soil. Opened up air flow under the canopy.
Being a monster cropped clone she requires more attention here.
Aggressive internal pruning ( the old flower ).
Tied down more branches and adjusted the old ties further.
There are way more new growth nodes than you can imagine or even try to count!! I'm going to guide the route : once we hit the 1st scrog net is when I'll get more hectic with the snips.
Update to holding pattern- post feed the t3 humidifier has not run once yet during the first 24 hours, my environmental parameters set for vacation should hold it off for the entire 7 days.
Nailed down environmental controls to push my humidifier for my week vacation.
Since then she has gone back to her normal regimen until the end of this week.
S22 back to 60%
S16s back to 6
Exhaust to 2
Vpd target 1.0
She is thriving again! Everything I tried down the other day is completely filled in already! I just haven't taken any pictures outside of my geeni cam.
Giving her a small step down in light intensity so it's not such a shock when I slow her engine down tomorrow!
She's going to be well fed and in hibernation for a week - when I get back I plan on giving her a haircut ✂️
48 hours into vacation my timer decided to wig out- I'm unsure of the time cycle it went to but it was off when it should have been on etc. To avoid any hormonal confusion I opted to have the timer disabled and have since been running 24/7 lights @20%.
Early on the tent had a humidity spike due to the reduced temps and exhaust speed @ 1 - I have since had the exhaust speed bumped up to 3.
My vpd is still pretty low due to lower outdoor temps today but within acceptable range for low transpiration - mold risk is very low due to air exchange rate coupled with constant air movement.
Here are a couple pictures of the ups and downs in the Vpd along with clear signs of growth via the tent cam.
I also threw in a pic of the OG C99 crop which is a top tier smoking experience 🥳
Back from vacation and the 7-day holding pattern was a success despite some minor set backs I highlighted in the previous post. -Here is the reset I did today to get her back on track:
S22- Back to 60%
S16s- Back to level 6
-Moderate defoliation
-Removed LST trainers
-Identified old decaying plant matter from the monster crop & removed what I physically could.
Re-applied LST , explosion of new lime green growth.
It was a pain in the ass to get AI to render an image with the information I wanted it to show and not fluff it with BS fake crap. I didn't fight it in its pictures but it gets my overall plan across. Happy growing!
