That’s awesome water set up, I also water a few inches away from base too it causes the roots to stretch out further to get water

I like that idea…this tent is very small I would say (perfect for my needs) but the tank is on the bottom the big pot is on a “self-feeding” system and thus is always being feed the base has a meter to tell you how my water is in the tank still. I refill ever other day and monitor the app but I trust my instincts more then the app, it never shows low water levels and I had it pretty low before I installed my self feed system

Your smart there, technology is a great tool (tool) but imo should never fully count on it. Do your own test and checking and leaf reading and adjust accordingly

Absolutely, this isn’t my first grow just my first with all this tech as a resource. I must say was very nice to have but I do manual maintenance daily. This system is nice tho EXPSENIVE.

I’ve helped my brother with an indoor grow but never had one myself I’m hoping to change that this fall and just start with the basics and add on from there

My first indoor Grow set up was a 4 or 5 foot tall cardboard box that I taped with weathering tape and had LED light hanging too high up for the set up grew some dank cheese from it but I messed up the cure process and it was bunk after made me said because it was good smelling growing

From what I’ve researched they have some killer lights and a good overall company but when their stuff isn’t on sale it can be expensive but I found a 3x3x6 tent with a light and ventilation with carbon filter and a 6inch fan for around $300 to $330 after all the deals and sales

That’s what I found about this VIVOSUN company they make a good product, the lights I’m curious on I have good lights an ol mars hydro and a nameless veg/flower light both led I wonder what my yield is gonna be

The grow I’m doing is from found seeds too I was late trying to get seeds and my wife had found some seeds I had set back so I rushed to get them planted and going but good thing about growing photos outdoor you got tons of time

There is a strain in wanting bad red Congolese but the only place I can find them is reeferman genetics on a side called old school, breeders association so I’m going to try and get some of those and from Barney’s farm I want the laughing Buddha and limoncello I know I’m a Sativa freak lol

I’ve had Durban poison (og from a outdoors grow) that was gas, but sad to say those genes are like blue dream and yes Skunk#1 and OG kush and Afghan Hindu Kush. Everyone has the genetics but they can’t explain where or how they got it

The cut was me moving the camera and doing maintenance, I noticed the back planets leaves were starting to get a little yellow so I started the veg nut cycle, monitored it and today it’s looking better

They seem to have a good color now, it’s cool to see the walls of your tent move like it’s breathing, that’s gotta mean good airflow

This tent is unique there are air hole in the side bring fresh air in and out always, so the airflow is natural winds right now, and obviously it’s stays on that mode

Normally a tents walls would be hot to the touch absorbing all that light head the plant isn’t using but this is so nice the walls are cool no matter the temperature in the tent which I just got an alert on my phone saying it’s 80.3 in the garden 😎

I don’t have to worry to much about humans here I’m in a small holler and most is family but I do have cameras and dogs and a gun lol but animals are a problem I have a lot of rabbits, deer and bears the dogs help slog with that and I got a light fence to help with noise makers like bells and stuff like that I also go out there when I can and pee around that area (it really helps with the deer) the smell is the worst part I know my renters joke about it a lot but I’m hoping when I get a tent those charcoal filters will help with that but I’ve never used them so I don’t know. I should say that with their self feeding system and this pot, it will feed the pot, as their is a shoe string that feeds into the tanks and soaks up water to feed the bottom of the pot…but as I said before I trust this works but I got the drip incase

See that’s where I messed I was prepared to grow outside this year and the pots I’m using will only hold like 3 to 4 gal

For outdoor grows I have always been told more space is better so if you can put in the ground it’s best but if not a guy I watched use to by 30 gal buckets from home depot or Lowe’s and bury them 3/4s of the way in the ground and net the base

I would say look for a 15 gal pot for it final home and make sure there’s enough drainage between the pot and soil and the dirty too

We have do done ok with 5 gal buckets in the past but in my experience it’s best to go over 10 gal those 30 gal are nice but when I was measuring for space and where I want to add a greenhouse soon if I do the 15 gal I can 6 instead of 4 in that same space

That another thing I messed up too on two of my plants I got my mix wrong and it didn’t drain to well, they are doing ok now tho but it hurt em a little

Well this tent is a bit small coming in at a whooping for 4 feet tall but they have other AI powered tents (and ones without it.) but seeing how easy the ai has been and how it’s not “doing the growing for you” but rather just working lol it’s easy for a new time indoor grower or someone like me just coming back to it after years of not doing it. The AI just gives friendly reminders to do things a goof friend for solo growers

Add a plant raiser under the pot the bottom cant breathe and can cause root rot if setting in that tray and no air can get thru the bottom too also will help drainage and make it easier to not over water

So with the big pot it I has to sit in the middle or at least in the center because it is a self feeding pot, there is a shoe lace that feeds into the water below soaking the pot below. The other solo cups are going to be transplanted to new pots the catchers were there because it was making a mess. But with the new way I have it configured that’s not a problem anymore. However I discovered that the humiditier in every picture wasn’t working (actually) new post to follow

Mouse pi for hire is awesome if you like run and games mostly old school if feels a bit like (as far as gameplay goes) it feels a bit like bioshock and doom mixed but more og doom but the hand drawn graphics and writing is good. Dont axe her just yet. These plants are super resilient. If it's a photo period and not an auto, your chances are alot better to rebound. She looks overwatered to me. Stagnant air is a breeding ground for mold, try to get the air moving more. I have not been following your grow, but came across this post. Do your best to correct the wrongs and take it as a learning curve if she doent recover.. shit man, ive been growing for 4 years and i still dont know shit and learn something new on each grow!!!!!! Use the weight to determine the proper amount. I assume this is soil? Water it really well till you just see it runoff. Now pick it up.. that's full. Pick her up everyday.
