Grow Timeline (47 updates)
should I swap to flower soon ? I'm not looking to have a 4ft + plant lol I have a small space. right now she's about a foot tall give or take
mine r about the same size n im about to flip my lights to 12/12...they're lookin amazing n perfect keep up the good work growmie!!
Doing some hand LST and she snapped and the main joint. I tied it up and braced it up let's hope for the best.
Use black tape instead. After a certain point the stalks get hard and are easy to break so it’s best to supercrop rather than lst
thats a good fix, that stalk will grow back stronger in a week, just leave it alone for a bit
I had really good luck if I twisted the branch and youll feel it pop then twist the other way. I was doing that before the nodes cause I in fact split also 😅 if you aren't already doing that. alittle easier to manage in my opinion.
looking good?
Looks awesome fam! Keep it up👌👌
Looking great
For a cheap set up. cheap light that shouldn't even be able to grow this. and using only soil and tap water (well water). she looks pretty decent to me. p s. I trim her often which is why she doesn't have many big fan leaves. I learned tricks from "old heads" like 20 years ago before all of the fancy equipment and all of the special nutrients and stuff. good ol organic smoke.
Grandaddy purple, photoperiod
thanks bro. all I did was top her once and then I ended up snapping a limb of and getting it re attached. after that I did 0 stress training other than defoliation 😂 I didn't want to break her again.
I've been there man, and made the same call. Sometimes you have to just tell yourself you've done enough lol
grandaddy purple , photoperiod
This plant is more organized than my life 😂😂😂😂
honestly I think I've ran into my first problem with my cheap lighting. the buds are not forming as fast. other grows that I see that are like 5-7 weeks into flower have way fatter buds at this point. I'm on about week 10 of flower now. I had a harvest planned for thanksgiving (based off of my strain grow time) but it's looking more like Christmas lol she is frosty tho and looks nice. just not getting fat
The main thing I see changing now is the hairs some are orange now. not sure of she's growing buds or what
She's looking gorgeous!
That's a long way man, soon enough she'll be sending you to cloud 9
mine slowed down but then picked back up with swelling the buds in the end, i didn’t have the bud growth and density till then, looking good though ! i’m sure those will swell up soon maybe after more hairs orange up
yea she's definitely frosty 🥶 hairs turning more orange now by the day. hopefully it's not to late to fluff the buds up some.
It's looking meaaan brother, can't wait to see what she'll produce
Looks🥶🥶🥶 brother! For my inexperienced eye it looks almost ready if not ready for harvest.
I would be damn nervous if I was in your shoes too, I'd be like "but she's my baby"
facts lol. plus I don't feel like the buds are big enough but the hairs and stuff are already mostly orange
AMAZING looks like it has been snowing in here! how many weeks do you have left ? Can’t wait to see the result
Right !!! And honestly I'm not sure. I feel like she's stopped growing so I'm just watching her for the next week and see how she looks if there's still no new results I'ma just cut her down and start a new one with my new light. But from the buds I see on her now I might get around a half oz or so. I'm testing some small branches I cut yesterday. Waiting on them to dry up
Snipped some of her small lower branches that had some small buds. Gonna test them out and then get ready for her final days.
Dude this confused me like hell I seriously thought you harvested it and were trimming the leaves off of like a gram of bud thinking it's still growing 😭
Na not yet 🤣 just some bottom branches that had some small buds I didn't want to just throw them away so I'ma let em dry out and cure. They are small probly a few grams here but like I said. Not wasting anything lol
But I honestly think my plant is getting close to being done and she's not anywhere near the size I expected. I know it's mostly from my light. But I have a new one now. I just feel like it's to late for all that now so I may only get like a half oz harvest if that. I'll post a update in a few when I wake her up.
That's good man, looks nice, I hope the smoke ends up being some fire.
I know that my plant is also doing something similar, very short and bushy. I know when you have the light further it will stretch more, depending on the flowering time you might just have dense buds coming, I'm not positive I'm very very new to this lol. I wish you luck with your grow, man, from what I see from those branches she looks healthy
It's looking great!!
I built my "tent" with thin boards I got free from work, pvc pipes, duct tape and zip ties..lol Had menards rebate that bought most of that stuff..and play cpl games that actually generate money that paid for most of my exhaust fan and lights..🤣 Happy growing my friend
Those top colas look great, I hope the buds get a bit bigger and denser for ya. Good luck growmie ✌️🔥
Thanks. And yea me to. I trimmed some of the lower branches off hoping she will focus on those big ones.
That should definitely help, I'm on my first grow right now but from what I know that helps the plant use its energy where you want it to
Yea I read a article a few weeks ago that explained it pretty good. It said look at the plant like its a straw. Your main stem is the straw and every branch is a hole in the straw. When you suck through the straw the more holes you have the less you get once it reaches the top. It explained it a little better then that but yea 😅
following. what strain? gdp?
she’s pretty bubba she ready yet?
Not quite. I'm hoping those buds will fatten up some. I started this grow all organic (Fox farm soil and well water only). Had a shitty cheap light which somehow managed to get her all the way to flower. I then bought a good light but I feel like I may have slowed her down a lot with the cheap light because she stopped growing any but now I am starting to notice some of the buds around the mid area are starting to fatten up. So hopefully the others do also before she's ready to harvest.
I also snipped some of her lower small branches a few days ago in hopes she would focus more on the big buds. Fingers crossed 🤞 because it's already past her due date 😅
just watch you’re trichomes sos you don’t over do it. my last run was like that as far as growth and it ended up having quite a bit of seeds. not sure how it got pollinated but it did. the growth pattern was the same hopefully that’s not the case for you. If it does end up being the case let’s trade out seeds. lol
I got you. And also. If your plant is in flower mode and it's on its night cycle it needs to be completely dark. Otherwise it will make it a hermaphrodite ( both genders) I've seen people that had a light on their timer in the tent and that made them produce seeds as well so I'm guessing any amount of light during the night cycle can cause that. I honestly don't mind a couple seeds as long as it's not loaded with seeds 😅 1 or 2 here and there would be fine cause I'd definitely save them.
I feel you there man. and yeah light leaks can cause issues but I’ve always been told those status led lights won’t hurt your plants. I painted over all my LEDs for my equipment.
My oh my this baby is growing prettier by the day!!!
She's been in flower mode for almost 3 months I'm just gonna chop her down in a week and start some new ones. Not seeing much growth anymore but trichomes aren't really turning yet so idk.
She's looking good though, hopefully better when dried and cured
Not seeing much of a difference anymore.
One limb got heavy had to brace it to another limb and prop it up.
Tricomes are a mix of clearish, cloudy, some orange here and there and some more deep red on the stem of the tricomes.
Most likely going to harvest her in about 4 days.
The next one will be better.
Chopping her down tomorrow. Starting fresh.
I mean if she stopped drinking I would chop. Is she drinking still? You can always let it herm out since u don't have another grow going, and reset your room from pollen after chop and dry. May get more weight(20%+) final week or 2, risk of herm(seeds) increase. But free seeds from a learning curve plant with 0 risk to other plants. Love the grow homie and I followed ya
It takes a little longer for the soil to dry up now kinda worried about mold growing. I started this grow with a cheap light any only used fox farm soil and tap water (well water not city) it was already in flower good before I got a good light so she fattened up a little but the past week or so she's not showing any signs of growth really. Just been watching the tricomes really waiting. Now I'm seeing orange here and there and some Ruby colors but then there white and clear still also so idk. I have 2 new grows starting soon and I still have 1 in my grow area it's my small one tho. So I'm just going to cut her down tomorrow and harvest and when my seeds arrive start the next grow.
Thank you. I ordered some gorilla cookies seeds so when they arrive I will be starting my next one 😁 this one will be way better cause I'm actually ready this time 😂
Yea this was my first grow so I think it went pretty good. I'm happy with it. Ready for the next one 😁
If you have been following this grow I'm sure you are just as surprised as I am that we made it this far 🥰 as much as I wanted to let her keep going I have to wrap it up for my next grow. Overall she did way better than expected with a cheap light and only soil and water. She made some nice buds now we start drying and curing. See you guys on the next one 😁
Some smaller buds already dried up pretty good and got thrown in a jar. Bit first. The test. Smoke was nice. Very relaxing high. Once she cures she will definitely be some A1 bud. Im super pleased and ready for the next grow. 😁 Will keep everyone posted on this one until I start the next one. Happy Growing !!!
Lmao an some people can't grow nice stuff. For being not a "pro" that's sum nice shitz deff worth the wait
Yea she turned out pretty nice. Buds are super sticky. I can't wait to see how she cures. I tried that bit before curing and it took me back to the old days where you smoke then zone out watching TV and all of a sudden notice you can't swallow cause your whole mouth and throat dry AF 🤣
And I am definitely not a pro lol. My first grow. And like I said I started out with a cheap Amazon light. And used only water the entire time. Never checked levels of anything other than temp. 😅 Now the next grow is time to put in work.
Stick with what ya know cause it's working an go from that 🤘😉 an I thought this was your first congrats on that!!
Snipped buds from main branches. Laid them on parchment paper back in the dry box. 65% humidity. 65°F one last day. Then to the jars for cure. Weight 16.3 Grams.
Just a little bit but not to bad. As long as it stays in the 55-65 humidity range inside the jars it should go away from what I've seen. The buds aren't super big so it doesn't take as long to dry out
Okay that makes sense. I was just curious. I have trouble with my temperature sometimes so I’ve been nervous I’ll get a hay taste in my product.
Yea I used a cardboard box and hung them in that in my bedroom. It was a small hint of hay smell but not to bad. Usually if you cure it right it will eliminate that
Okay I understand that. The problem I run into currently is I smoke a metric ton so I usually am out of my last batch before I have time to properly cure my next one. Hopefully soon I’ll be able to get a better license and grow more plants.
Unfortunately I think my seeds for the gorilla cookies from fast buds got lost in the mail 🥺 package is a week late and now says in transit to next facility. Delivery date is now unknown.
But I still have a back up.
Zkittlez (Auto)
Her sister is my cannabonsai I'm working on.
Going to start germination on her and get her going while I wait on my mail situation.
New grows coming soon !!!!
Dam that's a productive too . I've ran a cpl gg4 phenos easy plant to run it does whatever u want respond well to both topping and lst if u not familiar but luv gg4
I actually have a gg#4 original glue seed But it's a photoperiod not auto. My light cycle is on autofower this run cause my Zkittlez is a auto.
Some USPS facilities, like Indianapolis are backlogged like a mf. As long as it says "In transit" there's still hope.
What you don't want to see is "lost or damaged during transit". I cringe everytime one of my deliveries get routed through Indy... 50/50 chance I'll receive it on time, and if I don't, there's a 100% chance it'll be at least a week.
Google search indicates the following... Not sure if any of this is your reason for delay. GL. Eugene-Springfield and Bend-Redmond in Oregon are among the slowest USPS delivery locations in the continental U.S., tied for the longest average delivery times for Ground Advantage packages at 4.82 days. This is nearly two days longer than the fastest delivery locations, such as Columbus, Ohio, and surrounding cities. Other areas experiencing notably slow service include: Jackson, Mississippi – Multiple users report severe package backlogs at the Jackson Distribution Center, with items stuck for weeks despite timely initial transit. Indianapolis, Indiana – The newly restructured Indianapolis Regional Processing & Distribution Center has faced significant operational challenges, causing widespread delays and prompting intervention from Indiana’s Congressional Delegation. St. Louis, Missouri – Southern Illinois residents have reported persistent delivery delays, missing mail, and critical disruptions (including delayed medications and utility bills) linked to issues at the St. Louis Distribution Center. Kansas City, Missouri – Packages frequently bounce between facilities for days or weeks, with some traveling hundreds of miles in the wrong direction before returning to the hub. These delays are often attributed to the USPS’s "Delivering for America" 10-year plan, which includes consolidating operations into 60 mega-centers, shifting to overnight holding at post offices, and re-routing mail through centralized hubs—changes that have slowed delivery times nationwide, especially in regions with high volume or complex logistics.
Let me just say how impressed I am in this first grow.
I am a chronic smoker. I smoke probably 10+ joints a day for multiple reasons.
THIS bud has been way better than any "Za Za" , "Gas" , "octane" all that "good shit" has nothing on some fresh , untouched, organic bud. 🤤 To all my first timers out there. It's worth the wait to do it right. PLEASE pay attention when drying and curing it's the most important part of the grow.
With that being said. This is the last post on my first grow.
New grow has already begun 🎉🫠
Looks sickkkk man!!! Wish I could have a nugg for it🤣🤣🤣
the whole video didn't upload for some reason 😕
