Haven’t really taken a lot of photos during veg, but I will during flower which I just started
During this grow so far I’ve had my dehumidifier die, small thrip outbreak, and a minor nutrient lockout. Everything is better now, so gonna throw into flower.
This grow I’ve been using some new products.
- chitosan, 500mg per 1.5 liters when foliar spraying every 3 days right until the pistils started showing. Then every two weeks throughout flowering half a gram per gal. For root drench.
- chaching from fox farms, it’s been great so far for pre flower
- recharge microbe tea. Great addition to the regiment.
Still using from last grows, snow storm ultra (tetracontanol), botanicare bloom pro soil, silica, cal mag.
At the 3 week mark I will stop using chaching and introduce bloombastic for mid flower, then I’ll finish this grow with sulfate of potash.
Since the last post, I’ve gone from foliar feeding chitosan, along with triacontanol, to mixing with my fert plan. Also have foliar fed salicylic acid at 1mM with ssu 1ml/1.5l
For plant growth stimulators, I plan on using chitosan every two weeks including it in my fert schedule. Last hour of flowering I might spray with the salicylic acid solution before harvest to increase thc. We will see
Going into week 4 in 2 more days. The buds are set, everything is starting to smell lovely in the tent.
Watered them yesterday with 1tsp/gal recharge. Getting reading to introduce bloombastic.
My feed schedule for mid week will be ramping up the bloombastic from 2ml - 4ml/gal. Also introducing magnum(magnesium/sulfur supp.) as I decrease my calcium usage as flowering continues.
I’ll be stopping silica after week 5.
So calcium5ml/gal, silica every other 2ml/gal, slowly transition to magnum.
Bloombastic, botanicare bloom pro soil, 5ml/gal snowstorm ultra.
Lots of development happening. The fire bubba cross and star killer at the most lemon sour OG of the bunch. With so Fng gassy and and Ohio skunk cabbage coming in second in terms of different terp profiles. So fng gassy is like the bubba cross and the star killer just not as lemony, but super gassy still. The Ohio skunk cabbage has a nice nasty skunk profile going on. Really happy with these strains
Other than that. I have began to decrease temps from 75-76 to around 70-74. As I get closer to harvest temps with steadily comedown. The summer makes it hard to control temps because even with my ac set to 60° it still has trouble getting temps down below 70 during lights off at the heat of the day outside.
Gonna introduce a new product that seems impossible to get in the states called rokzbastic from atami. With its high K value I think it’s the perfect ratio for ripening. I have also been using sulfur of potash this run to increase my K value and to introduce a little more sulfur than what magnum from Humboldt county’s own can supply.
I'm running grape kush from Cali connection that's a pre98 bubba cross too with grape romlian x pre98bubba just ordered bubba slush from greenhouse i think that's pre98bubba kush x Gelato so yep I'm a fan of bubba kush or for that matter uplifting indicas great .
Damn this looks good!! Really nice group of ladies!! I'm at week 6 and 2 days myself. Unfortunately I can't get my temps that low. I tend to target 76-77 in flower for days. I can't go lower than 71 at night. I lost the lung room AC and with the dehu constantly keeping the room warm I have to settle for what I can get from the central AC. I have learned that consistency is better than perfection and lower night temps make it doable when the days are warmer. These last 2 weeks are the bulking window. Have you grown these strains before?
