AI dialed in
The AI works for me but I know everyone has their own style grow setup. I welcome any insights and I always appreciate feedback as long as it's respectful. So far everyone here has been great. I don't claim to know everything, but I am constantly learning. I try and learn a little from everyone and use what works for me. So far, so good. Thanks everyone. Good luck on your grow journey.
Day 47
It is so orderly β¨
I found the AI too erratic. It'll drive the fan up to max and then bump the humidifier right behind it. It learns a little bit the more you use it, but it's still pretty entey level. It's nice that they finally have you separate day and night setups, but only if you let the AI do the driving. I used it for about one grow and scrapped it. I switched to an old PC, some govee and Shelly sensors, generic exhaust fans and I was able to retrofit the humidifier to work with Home Assistant. Free open source software that lets you control every, little nuance. In this setup you script the logic using Python , and appDaemon. It's better than AI, but it's really really hands on. I created several scenarios that the logic will run through to handle things like humidity spikes, temp spikes, etc. after it tries then all and doesnt get the intended results. it'll go through again the next time being a little more aggressive. but it handles issues like I would. makes a change.. waits. observes. then tries something else. It took a lot of tweaking but this thing just purrs... I wish id have know about it before I bought all the ac infinity stuff. I'd have saved a lot of money.
Wow, that's extremely intricate! I'm not at that level. For me the AI send to keep everything dialed in. Good luck and your grow my friend
