week 3 should I start them out on a half dose of nutrients? Fox Farm should I use a Bud clip and bend over the main stem?

I say yes with half strength or even a 1/3 unless you’re running a 5 or 7 gal pot then I’d wait another week or two. If it’s a photo I’d start topping and training. If it’s an Autoflower then I’d start the training.

I just tried bending that center stem and it broke. Very disappointing

Use some black electrical tape to mend broken stem. I’ve never actually used the bud clips because I always thought it was to much on larger stems I only use rubberized grow ties to do the training. Is it an auto or photo?

Broken stem

I went to put a Bud clip on. And the main stem snapped. I knew I should have tied the stem instead of a bud clip, but I thought I would try the bud clips and this is what I get. I put a Band-Aid around it, hoping that it will survive

DON'T PANIC !!! I did this with mine I was doing some usual LST bending the 2 main stems after I topped it and one stem snapped and it was hanging on by the skin so I tied her up and braced it and now that branch is my tallest and strongest branch. you can check my grow and see how it went
