It can be considered day 1 of the seedling stage. The cotyledons aren't considered the first true leaves. The next set of leaves will be serated (not as defined as the mature leaves will be), and once those pop out, that will be the beginning of vegetation although it is still very vulnerable.

shitty seed ??? I've had some of ethos flower in Michigan it was good

I think it was my doing! I always start seed to soil and I got impatient and checked the seed. i buried it too deep and it had an inch long tap root. I took it out and put it in a different medium.
