does my plant look like its pre flowering

I don't think so, I don't see any pistils but I'm only on my 2nd grow. I had this worry but you will see some male or female organs show up on the lower branches before the flowers actually start. so check the lower sprouts like where the branches break off from the main stem for signs of gender

here it looks like a healthy plant but it doesn’t look like you can tell for certain about female or male. i don’t see the pistils you said you are seeing maybe try taking a picture of what you are talking about. really you shouldn’t have pistils unless you flipped to 12/12. if you did that then good you may be seeing pistils, if you didn’t then you might just be seeing new growth.

She's showing you that she's a lady. Pistils come when you flip to flower and after they're done stretching.

so if she is showing sex without flipping the lights to 12/12 does that mean it is a autoflower since my lights are still on 18/6 that's where it is confusing me

No not at all. She's just letting you know that she's a lady. If it were a male plant, you would see the start of pollen sacks (small balls that hang down). She's not flowering yet. That won't happen until after you flip your lights to 12/12. She'll double in size in about 3 weeks, and after that's done, you'll see white pistils start to form at the bud sites. Always a joy when that starts.

i’d try tying the two main stems pulled to the side to get an even canopy, like halfway up each stem or where it bends easy without breaking, tie string and tape to the side of your bucket, put them even on opposite sides. this will help bring those little bud sites to similar size to the top two bud sites. will help produce more than the two main colas you’ll have. any questions or need any help you can message me and i’ll show you what i’m talking about with my plant.

yeah i plan on Lst I just transplanted her to her last pot and pruned here just waiting a few days for her to bounce back from that before I do that cuz I dont want to over stress her but yes id love ur help please on how to do that

Its normal my friend. Plants have internal clocks aka circadian rhythem. Your plant is just anticipating sundown.

^He knows the deal. They (taco) to reduce the leafs surface area. The less surface area the leaves have means less sun that they can soak up. Sometimes they will also point their leaves straight up or straight down to do the same thing. Nature is amazing. Your plants will tell you everything they need and don’t need. I had to sit down and look over what I done yesterday and do my testing. high ph and lights too close. fix the issue let the plants recover and back to game on. shit happens dude

no its not i believe its just from when I had the lights closer and it light burnt it its not doing it anywhere else

those are just new leaf growth i’m sorry to say. you’ll have to flip it to 12/12 to get pistils. they will be hair like and white, not green and pointy. look back at my grow and you can see the same point my plant was at. after the flip within a week or two you will have the pistils. hope this helps.

yeah she does i got like 20 days till I flip her to flower but yeah there is pistils

if there’s pistils you might as well flip it then. are you talking about just those green points in your other post? cause i still see no pistils and you shouldn’t have them until you flip to flower. they only produce after you change the light (unless your timer is off and your not getting more than 12 hours).

and you don’t have to go by anything to tell you “how many days left” everything varies especially if you don’t know the type. so i wouldn’t judge anything off of a countdown. you flip it when you want to not and app. you also harvest when you want to, most buds go weeks past the “flower time” to bulk up or get the right trichomes.

I just flipped her to flower today sorry I didnt back in time we just got everything moved and unpacked

You have about another week I then I think. After you flip, they stretch for about 3 weeks. When they start getting towards the end of that, you'll see the pistils shoot out of the tops of the branches, and then about 3 weeks after that happens, trichomes start forming. You're getting super close. I can feel your anticipation. Just stay the course and get ready for something beautiful.

i’m going to message you a picture. those are called stipules. keep looking right there you will have either ball sacs appear or plain white pistils. they will be thinner than those green sharp blades. it looks like you may have small one in the one picture but it’s hard to tell. from the looks it has the structure of a female you just won’t really know until those white pistils or sacs.

Showing sex and pistils are two very different things. The pistils are kinda like plant puberty. They're showing that they're starting to become able to reproduce. On the boy plants, this happens faster because making pollen sacks takes less work/energy than building and maintaining buds. Once the trichomes show up, the plant is saying it's ready to grab pollen and start making seeds. The pollen sticks to the trichomes, and then it's queue up The Circle of Life from The Lion King.

You can usually identify the sex during vegetative stage, but the pistils are what show on the buds. They are the white hairs that stick up from the bud sites. Pollen sacs usually show up at weeks 4-6 if it's male. You can get the flower sites starting to express themselves. Basically you can sex the plant that early, but the pistils don't show up until the calyces are building on the bud sites

Really? The actual pistils? I read that just the stigmas can show (the ones with the tiny two hairs), but I thought that the pistils grew out of the calyces that form on the bud sites. That's what I read on growweedeasy.com. Maybe I have my terms wrong?

yeah just a bit mixed up that’s all. pistils have 3 parts to them stigma, style, and ovary. the part you are referring to is the stigma. the pistil is the entire thing.

Okay. That makes sense now. I did have preflower sites before I flipped, so I probably could have confirmed with a loupe. I think that I was just thinking about after they got bigger visually.

Double check that packaging my dude. 2000 watts is a lot for a tent. Sometimes they'll list it as "effective 2000w" or something like that. I think if it was actually 2000 watts and you had 2 up and running, you might have already had a house fire

yeah I think that's what it is but they have 2 fans built in each they really dont get hot and there energy saver so that's good I will have to check the package when I get home and my grow closet is like 15 long and 8 ft wide so its huge

you have to look at the actually draw watts. they will list it as 2000 and the actual draw is 200 if it says 1000 than the actual draw is usually 100. I have two lights identical to that. they lost as 2000 watt lights but the actually draw is just under 200 per light. its just a marketing scam.

but those will work great in the size of space you have they may have trouble with how long the closet is you may find yourself having them too high to reach all parts

lmfao hell yeah there the best I have my closet wrapped in emergency blankets then I have black out curtains around the outside of the door so it covers the door so no light gets in I have a big ousculating fan in the front front of the room pointed at the door so its not blowing on my plant directly and one pointed at my soil of my plant
