are you using nutrient solution with water, a living soil, or??

The only nutes I've given them so far is one dose of calmag. It was a liquid solution

I've done a handful of auto grows and these 3 are my first photos. I always struggle with keeping them green and healthy all the way thru flower though. No matter if it's autos or apparently photos.

so you haven’t gave them any nutrients for the entire veg period? are you just relying on your soil? what type of soil are you using? when you ran autos before did you ever give them any nutes besides calmag? if they havent spent their first 12 hour night yet and you are thinking about flipping today don’t. keep the lighs 18/6

I did 1 dose of liquid cal mag during the veg period. I'm using fox farms ocean forest soil. 5 gallon fabric pots. A/C infinity auto watering bases. The autos I've done in the past have been the grow peaceful buckets so no nutes were required. Allegedly 😂

Tonight will be the 2nd night of 12/12. And it's already lights out. Would it be bad to flip the light schedule back tomorrow or did I screw up bad

Smokie_Herbolario

no just keep the light schedule going. ocean forest or happy frog only lasts a about a month. you need to either top dress it, but too late for that now cuz it takes at least a week to 2 to start taking effect. or use bottle nutrients. get the fox farm trio an use their schedule. you are already lacking in nitrogen. during the stretch it’s going to use whatever’s left. that’s why your plants turn yellow.

I do have the fox farms trio pack I've just never used it. Im terrified I'll fry the plants. Id like to get better at photos because I've heard the yields are a lot better. If using this helps then I'm all for it

Is it best to mix at the recommended ratios or under for the trio? Too avoid burning them

Smokie_Herbolario

I’ve never used the trio before. I always used gen hydro. I wouldn’t worry about burning them for now at least. make sure your ph is between 6.0-6.5 and always water at the same ph. cal mag isn’t always necessary. if you are using tap water the there may be calcium in it. there may chlorine in it too if it’s treated city water. so if its city water just fill up your jug and let it air out overnight with the lid off

Im using spring water from Walgreens when I water since they were seeds. Ill bust out that trio and see if I understand the instructions. Is it okay to mix everything and then fill up my bases and let the plant take it as needed or do I top water with the nutes?

Smokie_Herbolario

it’s easier if you get syringes (not the junkie kind lol) and get some velcro and attach a syringe to each bottle. idk what all you have but use silica first if you have it, then calmag, then the trio in whatever order. you could get some recharge from realgrowers and use it every other watering or about once a week. recharge would need to be top fed. but you can bottom feed with the nutes if you want. i prefer top feeding but have seen plenty of success from bottom feeding.
