Grow Timeline (99 updates)
defoliated inner canopy on each as well as a few sucker leaves on bottom. tucked everything I could. top watered each with half a gallon 2 hours before 6 hour sleep today. then tonight refilled both 1 gallon pods. will just water next refill. top dressed with 3/4 cup of organic earth worm castings. full dose of all nutes in both 1.5 gallon totals each girl got today. hydro guard 3ml per gallon, Calmag 5ml per gallon, ph perfect trio 16ml per gallon each, big bud 7ml per gallon.
Are you planning for them to stretch into 1000 ppfd range?
yes once they are done done stretching, I'm gonna ramp them up to 900-1000 ppfd. right now only at 75% with the lights about 20 inches away on flower spectrum option.
snatched off a couple leaves on big girl from bottom. took quite a bit of nothing growing on bottom 30% of little girl. when bloom stretch is slowed down here soon, I will do one final big defoliation. while they are stretching I am going to leave them be for the time being.
That's what I've always heard don't stress in stretch
yeah I thought the big one was done. nope lol
They look Beautiful going into stretch It will be a happy yield
I am trying to learn autos, only my 2nd run. mistakes were made on the first run. nothing major so far on this 2nd attempt so fingers crossed
Autos are cool, less yields more often lights on 24/7 don't matter I'm going to keep a perpetual run of autos in a 3x3
eyeballed about 3/4 cup of worm castings, tablespoon of mykros and a tablespoon of kelp meal, top dressed then top watered it in with a liter of nute water. added Athena cleanse to the nute mix to help build up in pods. big girl seems to have slowed down but smaller girl is still in her stretch for sure.
I haven't had much Autoflower luck, I feel like I overdue everything with them. Any advice?
I am learning autos myself. I'm consuming everything auto related on YouTube and applying it in my garden. I have 3 completely different auto runs going in my garden right now and everything In doing is coming from these YouTubers. Autopotamus, growers mindset, basement ganja, green magic garden and Mr. growit. growers mindset has a really active discord that has been a lifesaver. #growmiegang
well, yours are looking nice, my last grow was autos and I almost threw the rest of the seeds away, I had 3 and only got about 2 oz, my outdoor autos were about 2ozs per plant. I am still new, on like my 4th grow, 3rd indoor.
it's all fun learning and growing. we will only get better. your girls are looking amazing looking ready to get fat.
looking great 😍🍁
tyty it's a learning process. I will keep documenting everything on here success or failure!
av been growing and learning the last 3 years but this app is good great advice. AV learned keep it simple and let them do there thing can't rush them but I love the process.learning every time. happy growing 🍁
yes I am enjoying the process. I have these two strawberry cheesecake autos I am documenting which are my 2nd run with autos. I have 2 more on day 65 that were my first auto run. compelety different grows but interesting to see how all the plants are different even though all 4 are the same strain.
is good for documenting your stages I just do mines weekly but perfect for keeping you on top of dates etc . happy growing.looking brilliant
kick ass job
tyty I am learning a lot everyday!!!
me too I’m new at this too
it can be stressful if you let it. my garden brings me peace so it is my happy place
it’s the kinda place that just get happier and happier it makes me smile everyday
thru all of flower they have been on these nutrients and schedule: feeding day, feeding day, water day, repeat. : pH perfect trio AN, Calmag (2-0-0 from veg thru week 3 flower then switched to 1-0-0 Calmag to help reduce nitrogen weeks 4-finish), fishsh!t and recharge. weeks 2-6 so far, added big bud and bud candy. weeks 4-6 added flower fuel once a week each week. I'm adding with the flower fuel day of the week- Calmag, fishsh!t and bud candy on a water day, then followed with an additonal water only day replacing Flower Fuel with recharge along with fishsh!t, bud candy and Calmag. then back to feed, feed, water. hope that makes sense. ask questions if it doesn't. the medium pretty much thru flower has been watering in and drying up progressively like straight coco. I think the 40% original soil mix has watered thru, top soil levels are sunk down so I have been watering/feeding like it was only coco. pushing them as much as I feel comfortable doing. you can see all the old and newer burns, she has handled it well as the bud development is what I've been focusing on more than the leaves. week 6 I think I started seeing some leaf fade so end of week 6 so might cut nutes. we will see. I'll try to get a better picture of the early fade on biggest plant. smaller plant still feels 1.5-2 weeks behind on development. happy growing growmies!
ps. I don't know how to change it but the app says it's week 7 day whatever. they are 76 days old from popping soil. flower started day 29. 47 days in flower they are in week 6 day 5 on my calendar on 8/21/25.
man u going to have a huge harvest .what I running for lights and nutes ?
500watt Vivosun lights and they are on a list of nutes mainline is all advanced nutrients.
yea I see there lights are affordable about the same price as my mars hydro I'm just running 150 w but Evan 50 more w makes a huge difference I have one that's 100 w and 150 I get way more tricomes
next time I need 400+ watts I'm just gonna buy something like this. https://a.co/d/6UYms9v
big girl was fed several times this week 7 flower. I weaned down to her last feeding today. Sunday 24th she got 80% nute strength. Monday 75%, water Tuesday. 60% weds, 40 Thursday and 20% Friday. water from here on out. smaller girl is still getting 100% nutes.
Looking nice man!
tyty they are a lot of fun
big girl got a full gallon with 10ml of Athena Cleanse to break up any salt build up. plan is straight PH water Sunday and then Monday another gallon with Cleanse. Tuesday pH water and done. let her dry off Weds and Thursday and chop Friday. will check tricomes on Tuesday and may extend the water if progression isn't on track. this is the rough plan but I will continue to read the plant first and adjust schedule. small one got 100% nutes today. One more week of full strength and then will probably taper her off that following week. as long as she progresses on track for it.
u definitely shouldn’t be giving them fish at all or recharge at that stage u want to stop feeding nutrients when hairs start to turn red and only plain ph water I can tell your burning them leafs with the fish
flush those there almost ready idky u would still be pumping them with fertilizer just some friendly advise
those are literally looking about ready for harvest check your tricolmbs
tris on big girl are a lot cloudy and 25% clear. smaller girl has weeks left she is still on nutes. big girl is on only water week 8 flower.
fishsh!t is not fertilizer. it's soil conditioner. doesn't feed the plants it makes your medium healthier.
all of which is meant to help the plants absorb nutrients better however if u are not fertilizing them anymore than there really is no point to using those products, on a serious note those are u just giving them ph water now ?
very nice I’m doing a minter outdoor greenhouse grow this season myself, I’m waiting for winter to get my indoor going cuz the led lights I have are ones that dispenserys use the big commercial ones and they get the tent hot asfuck sp I have to use it in winter to keep them cooler
and my bad I mistook the fish shit for the fish emulsion that’s the fish shit I thought my bad man lol
the big girl just gets water week 8 and Athena cleanse 2 days week 8 to wash out salts. smaller girl that has weeks left is still on nutes. won't flush her with cleanse and just water until her last week like big girl
They say you shouldn’t flush when growing in organic because you can kill all the beneficial bacteria and everything in the soil
I do a minor flush when growing and soil, I water twice the amount very slowly for two waterings then I don’t water the rest of the time. I left the soil completely dry out, and that causes the plant too cannibalize all the leftover nutrients and its leaves causing a really good fade, like fall colors.
exactly. had an old school growers from the 70s tell me with organic grows they would just water the last week or two with molasses
yup the molasses feeds the microbes and stuff in the soil yeah but as far as flushing, I wouldn’t really flush flush like you do Coco or other grows but check out my outdoor look at all. The pictures I put camera was fucked up at the time I took them though came out a little blurry I got some monster bushes out there.
week 8 cleanse/flush for these two is water with Athena cleanse day 1. water only day 2. water with cleanse day 3. water only day 4. no water days 5-7 chop and hang 7
Beautiful! Well done on those!
tyty. first time using coco, advanced nutrients line and SF self watering system. over all it was a great combo but I will switch up some stuff on the next run!
Definitely keep us posted! It seems you have a talent for this.
ty I am still learning autos but loving every second of it
last water only for big girl. the plan- she will dry out next few days. chop Friday 5th - Sunday the 7th. depending on tricome development between now and then. small girl will get full dose nutes rest of this week and will start her week of dosing down on Saturday the 6th. followed by a week of water starting on the 13th. we will see how she progresses this is a rough plan. ultimately I will listen to her.
as soon as I cut the 12 lines holding up branches she laid all the way down. hanging in dry tent now not trimmed yet. will dry trim
ahhh the choppage!!!!
she is drying at 60% humidity but I can't get the temps below 65-72. might dry in 10-12 days instead of 14
sounds about right!!!! gonna be some good smoke in 6 to 8 weeks. how long did u flush before u harvest?
I watered onlythe last week and stopped watering 3 days before chop.
okok no issue.. after cure n u sample it next grow try flushing with just water last 10 days hide diffejce in taste and smell ill never go back to not flushing after
I hear it but the studies and old school growers are just conflicting.
so pretty 🤩
ty ty
I would turn your light intensity down couple notches and flush more for week or little more then no water for the last 4 or so days to get more resin production also turn the humidity down to about 30 or 40 % definitely help resin production
also by turning the light intensity down she will stop putting out more white pistols
ty, but I am follow the studies regarding senescence, and the advice of Autopotamus for this grow on these two girls.
my sour d plant is week 5 of flower and the frost on her is absolutely crazy at week 5 and she’s got 5 weeks left to go she’s gonna be dripping with frost by time she’s done and I’m gonna use some unsulfered black strap molasses to multiply the microbes and all that goodness in soil to really get that resin production kicking in over drive
I did chop up the bigger sisters root ball to clean and reammend the coco for the next run.
not much? maaaan she is beautiful 🤩 💯💯🔥🔥🔥
tyty, she was the runt compared to her sister but I think she actually is perfect the way she is. just always picked on her for being behind the other one but she has always been beautiful
looks good, really like the purple in there
tyty I can't wait to try it in a few weeks!!!!
Congrats!
tytyty
Congratulations!! Thats super exciting! Looks yummy 😋
tyty hope it cures into some dank!!!
Beautiful
tyty she is smaller than the first but my favorite of the two!
damn she looks nice. How long did you veg her for?
she went into flower on her own around day 28-30
check your tricolmbs before chopping if I where u me personally I’d let it go more days but that’s just me
I always check tris. she is 105 days old and actually more amber than I normally wait for. gonna be a couch lock smoke
Yeah, I hear that. Well, it also depends to you know the percentage of sativa to Indica if it’s a hybrid, you know like if it’s a 50-50 hybrid you wanna let some amber
also check out my greenhouse grow and let me know what you think my latest posts cuz I got all 10week flowering strains that are supposed to be done middle October and they look like they still got a ways to go I’m thinking some end of October maybe but check it out
sounds good!
yes I have mostly hybrids but indica dominate
gotta be patient and completely seal those bags and not open them I seal mine and put them away till 10 weeks then pop them open and omfg the best top shelf bud assuming u put buds in to cure at the right time when there’s 10 to 12 % moisture in the stems otherwise u can get mold after closing those bags up
that was a tester nug for fun
i been using jars for curing forever do those grove bags work good asking for a freind 😁
they work excellent, some people throw a bolveda pack in with it. I don't I just close it up and let them sit in a dark cabinet or pantry while they cure.
thats all i needed to know man im close to harvest so now to amazon
what I’m saying is once u close the bag up if u open them again the process starts all over again and the cure is gonna be a bit messed up that is y I close them and don’t open them again till 10 weeks but ok to each is own I guess
if you have a local hydro or grow store I'd check them. I ordered some on Amazon then found out mine has every size sold in individuals for like 20 cents each. way cheaper than Amazon and I got multiple sizes I wanted
actually i do got a hydro shop not far thanks for the info i appreciate it
the grove bag website themselves says if needed to burp your Grove bags until the moisture level is good. the technology doesn't stop if you open it the website say. tons of growmies that smoke out of their grove bags for months opening them daily. idk man, the website doesn't say anything about once closed not to reopen or it restarts anything.
grove bags actually don’t start working until two weeks once two weeks happens that’s when the bags actually start caring but if you open it prematurely, the climate inside the bag gets messed up and it’s like starting all over again, but if you have the patience to let it go 10 weeks to the point of aging your buds past the curing part it’s phenomenal if you have the patience
I'd check your source, because a couple things you are saying contradicts what the grove bag website says. 10 week cure is going to make any weed better if done correctly, and that doesn't matter if it's in bags or jars just so you know. I've cured for 6 months before and had the best flavors ever. the website says the technology in the bags works immediately, nothing about taking 2 weeks. also says to burp the bags until the correct moisture level is obtained, nothing about opening the bag restarts the cure time. not saying you aren't having good results doing it your way. just the things you are saying aren't in line with the company selling the bags.
You’re supposed to check 10 to 12% moisture in the stem then put the buds in the bags seal it and leave it for 10 weeks two weeks is not enough. That’s actually how long until the bags actually start doing the work. And if you open the bags air gets in there and it’s basically like starting the process all over again once you seal them up and I’ve talked directly to the owner of the Grove bag company and he told me all of this
and I’ve been using these bags since they first came out and I never will go back to mason jars every time I use these bags I leave them in there for 10 weeks but you have to make sure the right amount of moisture so you’re not opening the bags before 10 weeks that’s where you went wrong and I have perfectly cured but every time
I know for a fact, two weeks is when it actually starts working. It doesn’t work immediately just to let you know. Try putting a humidity meter inside the bag and watch it. The humidity doesn’t go up to 60 and 62% until after two weeks I’ve tested it just to let you know and those videos are vague anyway try watching the real videos. Ask the man who owns the company to send you the real videos even that will tell you two weeks isn’t enough and if you do open the bags it basically the climate that’s in there that does the magic gets interrupted when you open those bags so it’s basically like starting it all over again
lol do not put moisture packs in Grove bags clearly you’re doing it wrong. you check the moisture in the stem near the bud 10 to 12% moisture then put the buds in the Grove bag Ziploc and use a hair straightener to close the top of it as well if you put moisture packs in there chances are you gonna get mold and it’s gonna be twice as much in the bag that is totally wrong what you’re doing
take a look at my greenhouse grow all the strains I have going pineapple, express gushers, fruity, pebbles, white widow, Girl Scout cookies, sour diesel, super cherry boof #26
you really need to check your sources. I never said I have put anything but flower in my bags. some people do though, seen it tons of times. again I question your source for the things you are saying are fact. matter of fact, I have sourced the grove bag websites themselves to show you that it literally says different than what you are saying and then you pull out that you "talked to the owner" of the company....
I get that part but that’s crazy though putting moisture packs what I was saying is why don’t you test the theory about the two week thing? The curing doesn’t actually start until about two weeks. I was saying put a moisture meter in there and test my theory because I have.
I would advise going about things saying "I've had the best results leaving the bags closed for 10 weeks at least" because the other info you are giving out comes over like you are telling people what they should do with their grows. and when someone takes 30 seconds to debunk what you are saying on the companies website directly, it makes you not look credible. you have also quoted me bro science on flushing when the scientic studies have been contradicting what you said as well. Ive only been growing for 20 years but I don't come on here to tell people what to do. I'm on here to show people how I grow and what I do.

looking good bro. hopefully you can help me with my issues if you can please mate?
what you got going on?
right so this is my 6th seed from fastbuds. I'm able to germinate them. they sprout and the 1st true 🍃 apear. so I take my glass of them which was 4 the dome. and then within and hour or so they just keep dying and go south on me bro. only giving them ph 6.2 shogun roots and start. light is 38 inches away from top of pot. carbon filter on fan at bottom of 1.2 x 1.2 m tent. using a omega black 720 full spectrum led light. only got it on 250w output. so yeah that is my issues mate. Just put another 🍓 🦍 in there tonight so hopefully this works out or you can let me no anything plz buddy. many thanks
are they drowning. my advice when planting to germinate and how I do all my autos so far. plant about 1/2 an inch down. use distilled water the first week from planting seed, after that I only use spring or filtered water. ph it to 6.5 in soil. 5.8 in coco/dwc. if soil is 80% dry when planting seed, if soil is barely moist not wet yet when planting. then water over the seed and around a few inches with 150ml of distilled water. then 3 days later if top layer of soil is dry another 250ml of water. then around day 7 soil will be dry again and give 500ml. day 10 750ml. day 15 2 liters. then I continue to ramp up from there to full saturation. always make sure the water can drain out the bottom and the soil isn't just sitting in water.
tbh mate I don't no what's going on and why this is happening. I've never done from seed before always cuttings. but yh I don't think I'm giving them too much start n roots mate. is the hight of my light alright? shall I I leave the carbon filter on at that stage? really I do cos once I puy the light on at 250w the temp sky rockets into the 90's. humidity goes down cos I need to open tent. yeah I'm confused mate. so annoying, I'll take some pics of how I got it all set up or a vid and send it to you if that's OK?
yes carbon filter fan to circulate air and help cool. fans too. try not using the root stuff if you feel it's too much or hurting. you can always water it in after a week or so. light height doesn't matter as much as ppfd. download photon app it's free. you have to use a diffuser over your front facing camera. I use a strip of printer paper regular 22lb computer printer paper and cut me a 2 inch strip around my phone. the photone app explains exactly how to do it. I make sure my seedlings are getting 200-300 ppfd. can you put a video on your grow? others can chime in and help too
OK yeah ill post some stuff later today mate an like I said hopefully this 1 makes it.. 😤.. so this ppfd is the amount of light the 🌱 is getting or for the full 1.2 m2 of my tent please bro? (so confusing and I'm on YouTube everyday trying to understand it all.) many thanks once again for your help knowledge and guidance bro. 👍
green magic gardening, mr Canuck, basementganja. my fav three on YouTube I've learned so much from them. yes the ppfd measures how much light is there. so I put my phone facing up towards the light and put my front facing camera right above the top of the plant. so you can measure it. 200-300 seedlings. 400-500 slow increase thru week 2-3. week 3 ramp up to 650 ish and hold 600-650 thru week 4. by then with autos should be in starting bloom stretch and I stay around 700s thru week 5-6 then slowly ramp up again to 900-1000 by week 9-10 to finish. rough ppfd schedule if auto is in veg for first 22-30 days.
if plant grows normal I wouldn't train in any way until they are 13-18 days old. having at least a trunk of 3-4mm in diameter. then train only every 3 days or so and only a little at a time.
OK great thanks for that mate. hopefully I get it right. see I hear what ur saying, understand what your saying. but it's like the Ec, tricky to get a grip of for us newbies lol. I'm still wet behind the ears 😂.. yh I've seen that canucks on there and highgan, there good to watch. well it's 1 hour an 15 minutes till I put the light on. I was doing it at 18-6.. is that OK? Just what YouTube has said to me...
Im doing 18/6 my whole plants life for autos.
OK great just want to make sure I'm generally going about it all the right was but we hear so much and get so many different opinions so yeah thanks again mate. where are you from/based Gozen? I'm in London 🏴.
in the states myself. family is from England but about 250 years ago lol
hahaha OK cool. well I'm gonna get myself sorted to crack on with this mate. so I'll msg you in a bit once I've took the vid an pics. speak soon bro 👍
