so the first official day of veg is when your plant produces its first set of 5 fingered fan leaf. about the third or 4th node usually . you want to feed at half strength for the first feed if using synthetic , then full regimen after that .

I usually start counting veg time around day 14 to 17 Steckling is right on about first set of leaves, the better grow environment is the big factor on how fast she develops. Autos can start flowering around day 30 don't top, prune, trim or stress the plant at all in veg for bigger yields

Bulldog is right, 14 days is all you need for germination. If you need more, you have stunted it.
