Grow Timeline (21 updates)
i've got one plant which seems a bit broken/ deformed. the other three plants developing good after potting. A week later they seem like nothing has stressed them an they grow further :)
What do you recommend with broken plants? Should I Trash it?
I just had one of my babies bend right over and lay down. had to prop it up with wire for a couple days. seems better now
so the plants reached the veg stat and i watered them today with my Hesi Fertilizer. this week 5 ml TNT per liter
and 5 ml/l root complex as also power zyme 2 ml/ l
i also added other beneficial bacterias and funghi in there.
i think i will focus on 3 out of 4 because one seems to really have troubles getting bigger and dont look like it will be a great healthy plant. but i will keep it for educational purpose :)
the Purple Queen Auto got the first training clips and some leaves tucked under the branches. I dont wanna cut them. this time this Auto will be handled with care and i will not defoliate in this early stage of growth because it seemed to disturb my last Auto Grow.
Wish u all a Happy Halloween :)
took away 2 big fanleaves from each plant to uncover the lower branches and added more LST Clips.
even the little bastard(Nr.3) is becoming bigger :)
the light also went up( plants reached 30 cm) and light is still at 80%.
nr.1+2 + 3 are the special Kush Photo and Nr. 4 is the Purple Queen Auto.
watered them with 10 l. yesterday with 50 ml TNT, 50ml root complex, 3 drops of super vitamins and 20 ml Powerzyme from Hesi.
nice π
Looking good man ππΌ
today on day 35 of Veg, i took of a lot of leaves and uncovered the branches.
also got watered today with a total of 10 l mixed with 50ml root complex, 50 ml TNT, 2 drops of super vitamins, 20 ml Powerzyme, 20 ml Hesi Boost, and also 2 silica drops and 50 ml of Bloom complex.
I want to start flowering within the next 2 weeks, when the plants recovered. ph was 6,4 and ppm 800. i also used a net to spread the branches even more. the Autoflower has reached 55 cm and the photos are 45 and 50 cm. the little bastard is getting to 20 cm. also i like the grow of it because it naturally spread over the soil because of the special growth.
i'll keep u updated in a few Days :)
today the ladys got thirsty, so we watered them with 14 liters(bacterias/funghi, root complex, and added little Flowering boost as today i want to switch the lightcircle and start the flowering process. we will start with one hour less light, and continue the next days by adding an hour each day until we reach our 12/12 cycle, light intensity is now at 66% and will increase up to 100% this week, as the lightinghours are reduced(heard that the stretch will not appear so high by doing this and i heard that this mild switch into flower is less stress for the plants because we are simulating the autumn. so within next 6 days we should be ready.
i also defoliated the plants. now we're hoping the stretch will not explode, because the light is already at its highest point
you just let those things grow, don't you π
jes :) this time there will be no topping, just natural growth ^^

the Purple Queen got very thirsty last 4 days i had to water every day with 2-4l cause her Leaves were hanging dowk. and she needed some supercropping today because she reached the lamp. also took of 3 lower branches which would not reach the light. now it will help her develop the strong branches in the upper part.
the two special kush in the back are exploding too. i don't know what to do at this point. I think they might get very big at the end of flower. also i forgot jesterday to set the 12/12 timer so they got one more day 13/11 lightcycle. did change to 12/12 today.
i kind of think to chop the top of to prevent the stretch of the headnode and maybe expand lower branches but i also dont want to disturb the flowering process. i think supercropping will do it for now but for future i think i have to top them. i really didnt thought about them getting this bigπ«
u want to have all that super cropping done before u flower & no later then week 2 of flower . plant will do there stretching weeks 2-4 & will need more water . this is when to boost the P&K to pack on bud weight. I would try to bend branches down gently
thank you, i will keep that in mind for my future grows :)
added Pk for the Purple Queen which developed nice first buds :)
i see first light stress burned tips of the top leaves. but i cant change it. its an auto and it was not in my hands to send her earlier into flower. i didnt want to grow autos and photos together, but i took the wrong Seed. now i have to live with that. but i'm still proud of all the plants :)
do you think i should do anything right now?
I would supercrop the big one on the left to get her away from the light and don't get any light burns...
The Automatic on the left is developing nice buds and the supercropped head is performing well. The other 3 photos are still in stretch but also very well. I lollipopped them a bit and took of some leaves so the light penetrate the plants from the inside. Also the photos got fed with PK the first time.
I would love a whiff!
The buds are stacking up and the smell out off this tent is really unbelieveable gassy and hypnotic.
Fed with PK last week and they look healthy. No signs of overfeeding or any other issues. Even the flowers under the direct light seem to develop well even if the tips of the leaves are a bit burned. I hang the light directly under the canope of the tent. So it got like 5 cm higher then before. Hope that will help.
I already see a lot of milky trichomes on the autoflower on the bottom left, and she is nearly ready but i will give her a week or more until the trichomes are more amber. The smell hits a fruity note.
The 3 photoperiodic plants are still in early flower. I had to change position of 2 plants on the right side + supercrop one of them a bit earlier bcs the plant hit the light. Also i recognized i've got some thrips and i ordered some predatory mites which will be shipped after the weekend.
On day 55 of Flowering we see the purpeling in the flowers and i took a closer look on the trichomes. But i don't think it's ready yet. What do u think? The other 3 photos, develop nice. I balanced ph of the water to 6.3-6.5. EC at 1.8
My plants are stull suffering from the thrips because the Postman didnt deliver the predatory mites due to Snow and related Weather Conditions. But it dont get worse bcs i treated the leaves with some neemoil i had. And it seems to be under control. But i hopefully get the mites this week.
Love the pink in it pretty plant
Colors coming in great
Thanks :)
Jeah it is really pretty^^
I had to crop the photo on the lower right (it looks like an umbrella now :D) bcs of intense light burn which caused whitening of the upper buds and foxtailing.
The purple queen on the lower left has now more milky trichomes. We hit week 8 of flower and i will give her at last 1-2 Weeks. The breeder recommends 6-9 weeks of flower.
I have these wick irrigation for all plants with 6l reservoir and the bucket of the auto has 3 liters water left. I will stop the filling of the reservoir for her for now. We might water her with normal ph balanced water if the trichomes tell me so.
Humudity is around 50-60%.
And the predatory mites arrived finally 2 days ago. So the thrips are hopefully dead soon.
I remember that the auto should be harvested, but the trichomes are still milky and didn't get amber yet.
I will hit her with ph balanced water one more week and evaluate then.
I also bought a microscope which should arrive today, so we will get more detailed pictures from the trichomes in the future :)
The photos are still stacking and swelling the flowers. Thrips are gone and everything is greatβοΈ
π€© wow π€©
That's a full tent
I harvestedt the Purple Queen Auto 2 days ago and its drying now.
When i inspected the buds of the other plants, i found one spot of powdery mildew/budrot? in a big bud of the Special Kush in the front. It had white webs inside the bud so I had to cut it and throw it away. The other buds looked healthy and not infected. Its really hard to grow these big buds, i still fail to keep the right humidity, its very high at nights and especially in the morning. I think i should get a better dehumidifier for the next run. Or i should train and Top them to prevent the really big buds.
This time I did not and thats the resultπ
Big bud, needs to get down. I think i could cut the infected part away, but i dont want to risk anything. It wasnt even a big spot more like a coin, and its was inside the bud( bcs of poor circulation of air in the bud maybe). But i fear that it spread in the tent. Let's hope for the best.
The plants perform good so far, the pistilles are getting brown and they are stacking up new ones. I think the endresult should be okay if the other buds dont rot. Humidity is around 60%. I try to get it down with a heater and ventilate the air in the grow room, so it does go down to 40% humidity. But not constantly.
Are you using hard water in your humidifier? That will leave a residue inside your tent
As in not diluted water?
I dont have a humidifier. just a dehumidifier. I water the plants with mid hard tabwater at 9Β°dH.
9 ph holy shit thats so high and well water will leave o e as well I found out the hard wAy
I mean its normally at 7,7-7,9. but the city says its between 7-9. So u think the residue build up on the flower?
Yes sir you need to lower that get P.H DOWN bring it 6.5 and watch the difference rite in front or ur eyes
We are inside of the last weeks of flower. I stopped fertilizing a week before and just water them with ph balanced water at 6,4-6,6. EC is about 400-500. I hope the lower nutrients stress the plant so it takes all into flower.
The one on the left is deep purple and seems to be a total different Pheno. The little bastard in the back right corner is more like the one in the front just smaller, bcs of its grow issues/maldeformations as a seedling.
The special Kush in the front is very big and i am kind of proud what i farmed so far.
All plants seem to be healthy and my issues about mold disappeared after i found a little spider laying its webs into the flower. So i just hope the flowers survive now after the spider moved, there should be no issuesπ€·ββοΈ
Next Update will be a closer Look at the trichomesπ
You can split and wedge the bottom of the main stem to add additional stress. I do that in the last 3 weeks of flower. I think it makes a pretty big difference
i did harvest on May the 8. and hang them into the tent fΓΌr drying about 5 days then i trimmed the flowers and put them into bags for curing today. I harvested 354 gram of the 3 royal Kush #1 Plants.
The autoplant i cured for a month is giving better terpenes now, less hay smell. I get a very soft energizing high from it.
My next run starteted 2 days ago as i threw 3 seeds of white whidow and 3 papapaya bomb bag seeds in water. Today we will set them into the fabric pots.
That sum fire looking flowers man enjoy
lookin good
Thank you :) i hope this grow will get a bit better after my first growexperience last time. I had other seedlings but they didnt perform well. These 4 are the last out of initial 6.
