Are you talking about Heady OG? BX means its backcrossed and the 1 is the first generation after the original i believe.

Yes its from the Heady OG line back cross 1. There's a whole story behind it. It's an indica dom hybrid and the Sour Headies is a saliva dom hybrid.

To honor his memory and his favorite strain, they backcrossed their original OG cut, ensuring his legacy lived on through the genetics of the plant he loved most. This is all I can find on the story right now. When they were selling the seeds it had the whole back story of where it came from and it was pretty damn cool.

That's what im hoping for. That's why I did it right. Dug straight 2X2X2 holes in the ground then put premium soil mixture at the base 10" deep. Gave them a heavy watering and just going to watch the show!

Absoluty love companion planting. Im seeding in some cover crop, white clover and throwing a mix of crimson red clover lacy phacilia merrygolds and basil. But mainly for pests I use Lost Coast Plant therapy and Monterey BT

No doubt, Im doing everything fully organic. Absolutely zero synthetics in my grow this year to see how it goes. Used living soil in my 15 gal mesh pots and now there in the ground with some more great soil! Can't wait to see the outcome

I will say the living soil and straw as my mulch has helped a ton with the moisture retention. But with this 90 deg. Heat we've been having they suck it up!

What really wanted to do was make another fat batch of living soil but for the sake of time I just didn't have time for ot to cook off before the transplant! It's obvious to me they love the living soil! My plants this year all are double to almost tripple the size than last year!

Nothing, I transplanted them yesterday and overnight they show their balls! As you can see in the pic I caught them very early! I soaked the plant down with water trash bagged them and yanked them out of the ground! I'll say one thing. The roots were insane! Wish I took a pic of them but all I wanted to do was get them the fuck out of the dirt away from all the others!

Yea every seed ive gottej than wasnt fem came out boys but i flipped early and tested them then in a week or week and half when i saw the balls i pulled that one and my fem seed i was runbing at the same time didnt hermie much just a little got 1 seed

Thanks, its been a lot of work to get them like this. A lot of LST in their early stage in my greenhouse then put them in the ground outside and their blowing up. Im going for more of a bush grow this year with an even canopy

Yes, sativa typically grows taller and lanky. Mine are hybrids. And then you sour, headies is a sativa, dominant, and my OGBX1 is a more indica dominant strain

My favorite strain is red Congolese but it’s so hard to find those seeds sometimes

Yeah it’s supposed to be a 100% sativa landrace but if you get it from cali (seeds) then it’s still sativa but been crossed with another sativa to better grow there. So I heard but the only place I could find seeds is referman genetics I’m not sure where the person I got my qp from got the seeds but man they turned me onto my fav strain

All 100% organically grown! My magic I belive is within my compost teas that im brewing with my bubbler. Worm castings, unsulfered blackstrap Molasses, kelp meal and 4-4-4! Also using organic cal/mag

Bro you have too! Make sure you get a good bubbler! I got the AC Infinity one and it gives a ton of strong bubbles to brew it properly and a min of 24hrs!

Im actually using a paint strainer for my bag. But im buying the compost tea bag on Amazon. Its $25

I shuffled soil around a little and a couple of the side shoots I did put in the soil to give them some stability. Trying something new. The main stem is there but have a lot of chop and drop all over to see clearly. These girls are loving the treatment I'll tell you!

Im using a 5 gal. Strainer bag and leaving room for aeration. Tie in a knot and to the handle of the 5 gal. Bucket right above where the bubbles are coming up and let me tell you the plants love it!!

Hell yea bro, your welcome! Thats why I sent that. I learned a lot since last year, lollipopping keeps the airflow and it really helps in flower to prevent bud rot. And I love how it looks. But i will say I see some people completely strip their plants down to sticks. Im not a fan of that until right before harvest time.

I’ve not tried it yet but I have seen the strain show guy on YouTube talk/show about it a lot. Makes we want to try it this year. So it helps a lot when you post pics like that

When you do the lillipopping and clean out the lower canopy and even the skinny little branches you get very little of the larfy small buds that are a bitch to trim and a complete waste to deal with!

Dude I’ve just been looking into the tea do you do it just before the grow to get the soil ready or do you use it a couple of times throughout the grow too? And do you use molasses or honey in yours?

Do it every 2-4 weeks and 1000% always use unsulfered black strap Molasses! They go nuts over it.

Yea I've had some weird ass bugs eating my leaves and sprayed them with Athena IPm a couple days ago and hit them hard with the Monterey BT. My big plants went into pre flower and trying to re-veg now which is weird. This weather is all over the place were dealing with.

No, my pest control has been on point! Lots of preventative maintenance this year. I just go back and forth on it because I don't want any trouble. But my neighbors are cool and I keep it low key under the fence line
