Grow Timeline (16 updates)
Give you guys a peak at my overall gear for a photo set up. I am running Solfire’s Hood Candyz line up. I use Fox Farm’s Ocean Forest from seedling to flower, adding dry amendments once per month in conjuction with wet fertilizer on a regular feeding schedule. Water comes from tap and is brought to proper pH after leaving out in the sun to decholorinate. Mykos WP and Azos from Xtreme Gardening help with any transplant or lighting shock if it were to occur.
6 plants in a 3x3 is not ideal, however, Solfire has provided us with genetics that can take quite the beatings without herming. While the growing method says LST, SoG is most likely the method that I will rely on to keep an even canopy.
Those are some autos I got on the right hand side, im throwing those outside to test climate and light.
I see you now look at you doing big things
Bring on the outdoor. Hopefully goes good for you
Gotta keep growing
Im hoping to bring them out in april
Hell yea got to keep growing
New forever homes in 1 gallon pots, i like these mini grows, allows me to focus my efforts. I also did the first topping on them, I am sure they’ll recover well. A couple more additives in the soil which include; Gaia Greens 4-4-4, Xtreme Gardening Azos and Mykos WP, and Plantonix Worm-Bliss and Char-Bliss (worm casting and biochar). Watered it with the remaining 1/5 nute water that I had set up last week. I am going to boost lights from 50% to 70%.
Hell yea brother I can't wait to see them grow up like always absolutely beautiful
Thank you thank you!
I really can't wait for my grow to be over and start fresh now that I have everything I needed to get and moving stuff around from room to tent upgrading all my stuff was great stuff but after doing research and finding would be perfect for my setup now i got everything running top notch now and everything is on point and the girls are loving it so hopefully I didn't lose or hurt them to much with all of the changes and moves they went through and especially with the 2 being autos
Best part is always getting better at your craft. I thoroughly enjoyed the flower that i grew that cane from autos. This run is an all photo run but I will be doing an outside run with all autos.
There was some funny results from the last topping session. These were corrected and again, I expect some stunting to occur. I might increase the veg time from 6 weeks to 8 weeks. I might be cliche and flip to flower on 4/20 but we’ll see how the girls recover. They are low and squat for now and hopefully, with some LST and TLC, they’ll cover their homes well.
Lots and lots of cutting and LST. Heavily thinking of extending veg time.
What are you using to tie them down with? When do you start tying them down? How many days/weeks in?
Very soft tie downs. I tied em down week 6 after 2 toppings
I was gonna also ask how many times you topped it but you just answered. Thanks for the reply.
No problem growmie! I topped it once when the plant reached 4 nodes. At the same time I topped, I also lollipop’d, I cut down the lowest 2 nodes. I repeat this process, waiting for 3 nodes to appear on each branch. Once each branch reached 3 nodes, I top the 3rd node and then cut all fan leaves from the plant. I expect a stunt, but I am doing this to redirect auxin, the pheromones responsible for plant growth and nutrient delivery. The plants now have 8 growth sites each, with all sites to be trained to grow away from each other. This should grant me a nice canopy coverage while these gals are still inside.
So that's how it's done. I was wondering how to get them to look like that. Thanks for the info.
So how long to extend veg with all that training? That is art! Gonna be cool to watch them start to produce!
Probably another 2 weeks considering the amount of stress i put them through
The Hood Candyz lineup 🤤
