1st time grower. life time plant grower.
really enjoying the process. I'm finding that the girls really do communicate it is very refreshing.
a lot of information online however there is a lot of bull aswell.
its nice to see though how many different variants people have when it comes to their grow and process and how kind the community can be. very helpful.
a few things I would change for the grow...
watering!!!
now then, never in a life time I thought this would be hard but it was. "kill them with kindness" perfect analogy.
quite quickly this can become reality. so take a minute and think. have a good look at the girl and remember the last watering time.
do you have a good couple of days in between, how do the leave feel to the touch.
as they get older just snip a leaf off when pruning is needed and look at the stem.... does it have water oozing out or just looks wet?
gently touch the leaf.... listen and feel the texture.
so many different signs that the plant is constantly shouting at you. its the grower, 9 times out of 10 who is not listening.
the feeding.......
I'm in soil so it starts off with nutriants in it, however. a gentle top up never hurts.
start with 1/4 or 1/3of the recommended amount. and just watch.. they will tell you.
deficiency or toxicity.
some traits like clawing or purple stems are okay. along as it doesn't get out of hand. so please don't shit your pants.
get a chart and just compare. lots online.
and have fun!!! its meant to be relaxing and a challenge. somewhere to get away from life stress and enjoy the process. learn everything you can and grow yourself.

can't wait. im finding that my 4inch exhaust is doing well but i think for the next time a 6inch will help more with humidity reduction as well as smells.
the grow space outside the tent is okay. very little to no smell so far... untill you open the tent.
2 to 3 more weeks and the fruits will definitely let me know they are there.. hahah
no feeding for a while. im only doing this as the leaves are looking great. the girls are growing well, with no signs of deficiency or toxicity!
we are having a little heat wave which is giving me some really high tempreture readings. the ac is set and all on sensors but I would like to get a new ac next grow.
a spot ac would be great, this is so I will be able to run a hose into the tent without and cold air leakage.
really optimise the machines
I want to try and keep them as natural and organic as possible. trying to make sure they have a really nice smoke in the end.
for the next grow I would like to push the plants to the limits and see how big and fruity I can get them without compromising flavour, size, and potency.
look amazing, I would scroll to DLI inside of photone instead of ppfd, it's intensity averaged over your length of daylight, instead of just per second or whatever. I think flowering stage is 40DLI, veg is 25 and seedling 15
im going to have a good look through it tomorrow, thank you. been looking at a proper light reader but im thinking of getting a new spot AC unit. in the summer months im struggling to keep the tempreture and a good constant level.
itβs about $600 but AC infinity has an AC/heater/dehumidifier they just came out with.it has 4way ducting. you can set it for positive, neutral or negative pressure. Iβm definitely getting one when I can afford it.

watering every 2 days now, which makes me want to add to the water amount but I think I'll give them a little bit more time before I do this.
using plagron green sensation... and I must say its performing excellently again.
EXPENSIVE!! but worth it.
raised the amount to 2/3 recommended dosage, will give full amount at around week 4.
got a good amount of terminal bud sites, which i hope will continue to stretch for a couple more weeks. lateral bud sites are strong aswell.
keeping the canopy as even as possible. super satisfying to see the bent and twisted stems rise up for the new positions to make a beautiful level top.
girls are coming along really nicely. brush up against them and the smell really shines.
the future #1is smelly amazing. a real fruity zesty scent. really nice on the nose.
purple widow is starting to smell but can't get a distinctive smell just yet.
the purple widow has been an absolutely amazing pheno. if I had more space and time I would of loved to have kept her as a mother.
resilient, no drama at all. as a seedling she was strong and fast. took to training very well. when defoliated or topped she didn't take long to bounce back.
an absolute beast of a genetic.

still got a way to go, but you can see they are swelling up nicely.
upped my feed to 3ml per litre of plagron alge bloom and 1ml per litre of green sensation plagron.
in weel 5 now so I'll start to flush in a couple of weeks, just to clear out all the nasties.
I try and keep to organic nutes, this help with prevented burns and salt build up. the synthetic nutes are packed with salts.
if you ever see a lid of an old bottle, its super crusty. imagine that sort of build up In the pot. NOT GOOD.
can't wait for these girls to be finished and really shine.

they can take a lot of abuse .
Iβm pretty sure your measurements are off 3500 Ppfd would microwave your plants. more Ppfd than the sun βοΈ?
oh I know its way off but that's the rubbish app on my phone "photone" however, its still a reading so i have data. which is always a start. I read the plants, so I can see at that amount (amount that I can measure) they are responding well. no curling, burning, and hopefully no bleaching.
gadgets can fail, Iβm old school, just put your hand underneath, if it is hot than raise it up til itβs not. easy enough. they look great!
I use photone too. if you dont use a filter it will read high. you can make one easy by using printer paper. if you haven't done that, you may give it a try see if that softens the readings a bit.
thanks mate! yeah really enjoying this grow. gone are the days with the back of your hand test with the HPS lights. got an LED now and they have come so far since they first came on the grow screen
that's a great tip! going to do that in the morning. thankyou. it keeps telling me about diffusers. had a little Google but im far to cheep for that.
what i did was just cut the bottom 3" off of plain white printer paper. wrap it around thr top of you phone and tape it on the back side. that way you can slide it on and off any time you need it.
also double check to make sure it is set to LED full spectrum if your using LED lights
