Grow Timeline (66 updates)
Plant #1 has made a recovery. First real leaves are emerging and hypocotyl is returning to green. First real leaves on Plant #2 are also visible. Looks like they'll be competition for who will be the two plants in the grow tent. The loser will see how she fairs outside, for an extremely short veg cycle.
Increase light to:
440 umol/m2/s
18/6 * 71cm above canopy
Both plants are healthy but #1 being a week older looks like it's on steroids in comparison to #2.
May have a little Potassium or Magnesium deficiency the latter being more likely due to the Coco medium.
Main stalk break on Plant #1 doesn't seem to have affected her at all. No wilting at all. Actually it's still producing new growth. Continue LST to flatten out canopy as much as possible.
The stretch on these ladies is a little overwhelming, trying to keep the canopy even. The two main stalks are too thick to SCROG effectively. Next grow I will try topping rather than FIMing. This third grow is by far the most healthy and robust plants so far. I would have to attribute most of the praise to GrowDots® and Recharge® from Real Growers©. This stuff is pretty awesome and SUPER EASY!
*DLI is a little high, but I can't keep the main stem colas flat to the canopy. The main stems are too thick and firm to even attempt LST at this point. Next grow I will top it as well as start LST sooner. I believe I'm just going to grow one plant next grow.
Install IONBEAM S16 inner canopy lights
Moved the 6" inline fan to outside the tent
Moved main light to the very top of tent all in an effort to deal with the massive stretch these ladies presented me. They have grown at least 150% since I flipped them. Next grow I will flip them sooner, but with Grow Dots®, you're kinda bound to it's time schedule.
They're starting to fade @ end of week six
Yep. Mine goes off the rails every once in a while. It seems dialed in now, but time to time it does it to me also.
Yeah, the outside environment can be a challenge. I'm lucky to have cool temps and low humidity most of the time(not really lucky, it was more on purpose coming from Houston....lol) so I mostly need my heater and humidifier.
Plain pH water. Dropped Cal-Mag.
Starting to see a couple amber trichs.
Aroma is very faint, especially compaired to my last grow, which is surprising since it's Skunk #1. It doesn't smell "skunky" at all. It has a very fruity aroma, but like I said, it's faint.
Still just a few amber trichs, but buds seem to be getting fatter. Getting close to harvest, but not quite yet.
I'd smoke that! Looks awesome!
😂 Thanks brother....I wish she'd hurry up and finish! Hmm, where else have I heard that?....lol
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Great pic 👍
Thank you!
Harvesting these things tomorrow evening.....FINALLY after 14 LONG weeks of flower I'm seeing enough amber to feel comfortable harvesting. The aroma is getting a bit stronger also, but still has a very floral aroma with hints of citrus.....the skunk smell is still very faint....If anyone reads this and is familiar with Skunk #1, is this normal?
Aroma is still very fruity with hints of floral, but "skunk" wouldn't be a word I would use to describe it. It reminds me a lot of the aroma of my last grow. The high is a decent head high, but have only smoked one joint to see how it burned, which was unimpressive. It ran considerably, but I think I over dried it just a little bit. I am having to rehydrate it about 3% RH during cure, except for the main colas, which seemed to have dried perfectly. The plant size, root structure, bud size and density, yeild as well as trichome size are all vast improvements over the previous grow. I'm not sure if it's the quality genetics, the Grow Dots nutes, or improvements in equipment and therefore, environment that would be credited to the increase in performance. I made too many changes on this grow to really know. What I do know is I will keep using Grow Dots (feeding is effortless and perfect), and I must add CO2. 115 ppm will never yield the quality or quantity I demand. I will post my final critique of this grow after curing.
After curing for 5 weeks, the yield totalled 256 grams. Not quite the 280 I was hoping for, but better than last grow. The aroma is still fruity and floral, and the taste is underwelming. It's not bad or green tasting, it's just bland. The high, however, is a good, uplifting head high that has lasted a good 4 hours at this point, which is pretty amazing for flower. Over all, a fairly disappointing grow due to the bland flavor....I am much more interested in aroma and flavor than the high, which is important but not top priority.
yeah gotta start lst as early as possible so the branches don't stiffen up b4 you have a chance to lst
Absolutely 💯
