Grow Timeline (18 updates)
keeping it simple, turned the fan on them so they can get some strength in the stems. Just a little bit to make them move. humidity is nice and high like they like it. give them water when they look dry (has some fish shit in it)
yea pretty much kiss it learned that in na years ago keep it stupid simple . I amend that easy too run a fan I got 4 going not on the plant one I lights one blowing fresh air in .I have a room I grow in so I gotta open windows here and there to keep vpd in line as best as I can. did ya use any micorizal funi ??? I do think fish shit has live microrginisims in it maybe enzymes
Same thing I do
nah just happy frog and the bottom half is ocean forest. just made sure the Ph was right.
bioflower 365 they say it better than ocean and Happy. personally I make my own soil from natural ingredients.start your self a compost pile .idk either way that smart they look good and nice method
watered them today, no training. maybe I'll top one? its my second grow so I need to read up on it again π other than that the fan speed is higher their stems are thicker and I have no bug problems.
im doin my 2nd grow also. looking good so far.
I always top after the 4th node followed by lst
I think ill too them then, just to see what happens. I did LST my last grow but I think I was alittle excessive with it. so im more chill this grow and almost kinda forget about them lol
I tend to be more aggressive with my LST. I like to start by gently pulling the plant from the base to one side then bending the main top horizontally in the opposite direction so that all the nodes sit at an even height. This helps redistribute the auxins evenly encouraging each branch to grow like a main top usually ending up with around ten or so strong tops. As the plant develops Iβll tie down any branches that start to rise above the canopy to keep everything even and maximize light exposure.
so I topped one and then did LST on them both after watering yesterday. the one I topped is showing some spots on the bottom leaves, I think it's just a deficiency since I literally just put nutrients in the water. well see what happens, so far they seem to be doing fine, very strong stems and no bugs flying around cuz I go days without watering them. and the fan speed is higher. can't wait to see how they turn out with my nonchalant growing lol
ZC, look up nutrient antagonism. I believe, too much nitrogen is doing that to your potassium. π
I cut the lower leaves, then I bent ones neck, the other one was topped so I just have been doing LST on it. I did some LST on the bent neck lady too. they were due for a water so they got water with the trio flora grow shit...they are thick as hell so far so good. definitely better with liquid nutrients I used dry my first grow. also more laid back this grow not a helicopter parent this time lol can't wait to see how they grow.
they needed water bad lol one was really drooping. they look better now but some of the bottom leaves are turning yellow and drying up. I use the trio hydroponics nutrients I've been using 1/2 teaspoon of each... I have no idea whats going on with them im sure there could be a number of things lol
the one I topped is bugging. I mean she's been through it lol π the bigger one is taking her time, and I think i either didn't water enough or didn't give enough nutrients. the leaves are changing from the bottom working its way up. is there a doctor in the room?! ... either way I did give more of a dose this time watering with nutrients, the topped one is way ahead flowering looking stunning but not feeling her best, im hoping she shows signs of looking better soon, the other one looks healthier but also shows burning tips.
the yellow one is begging for magnesium the green one is way over fed needs light flush and a shot of potassium. use cal mag water when you flush 300ppm
magnesium starts to show from the bottom up itβs the main element that produces chlorophyll in the leaves. nitrogen also aids but mostly magnesium is responsible for the green color. the green ones color is off, small new growth with pale colors means nutrient imbalances potassium to nitrogen is off when you see these signs. lucky they are easily flushed π¨ββοΈ
thank you so much!!
Alright so obviously something is wrong here lol its my second grow so im just glad to be learning more so I can become a better grower for myself. I think with the one I topped she's been given too much water or at least I've noticed the bottom of the pot still being wet on the sides. The other one is in a smaller pot, well smaller amount of dirt, I just used what I had left π the tips are burning on this one so I think I fed it too much? It's confusing because it could be several things π€·π»ββοΈ anyway it smells fucking amazing!! I also need to check the tricombs because this strain says up to 9 weeks. The topped one has been flowering longer than the other one.
Burnt tips and yellowing leaves this late in flower is perfectly normal optimal feeding and plant senescence. Only problem, which is minor, is over watering. Don't panic, let top inch of soil dry before watering again. Another trick is the pot weight. Lift the pot when it's dry, then lift again after watering. Once you get familiar with the feel of the weight of a watered pot, you'll feel when it's light and needs watered. Keep feeding ratios the same, just less frequent watering. Plant and buds look amazing, you're doing great! I bet it smells amazing. Keep on keeping on. You got this. !Happy Growing!
Awesome thank you so much!!
Your welcome. I'm always happy to help. To me, doesn't matter if someone has 1000 grows or 2 grows, we can all learn together and from each other. Happy Growing!
Congrats man!
