was using an incredibly underpowered light source and daylight lol. hey you live you learn

overall doing good, a couple getting leggy. Hmm,🤔 I wonder why lol. Definitely not the 14w light😉

checked on the still yet to sprout beaners from the 10th that I had rehydrated, then promptly forgot about. Found way more than expected lol

I left the screen door open over night and mice or something came in through the screen and ate almost half of my sprouts. 7 survived 3 were damaged 1 severely

Leftovers potting mix ratios:
50% jiffy vegetables & garden mix
10% Maricle Grow orchid mix
20% perlite
10% compost
10% standard sand

Starter cups were becoming hard to manipulate and were starting to fall apart. This is also when I started to think I may be overwatering(I was). Not in volume but in frequency. I was watering daily

I noticed clear signs that my plants soil wasn't draining well enough and it was also staying wet for way too long so I decided to go to the store and get what I needed to properly make a mix. this is what I made:
30% perlite
35% Peat Moss
20% Compost
15% Coarse sand
I amended the soil with ¾ recommended strength with:
Blood worms
Bone meal
Wormcastings
PS- couldn't get any vermiculite sold out

I saw that my plants were clearly under a lot of stress, yellowing, spots, curling, etc. I didn't like how the soil was draining already and I felt that if I waited till tomorrow to repot, my plants would be much worse off possibly dead so I started repotting late the night before and
ended up continuing throughout the night. I finished around 4:30.
Side note: Lost one plant. it hadn't grown at all since the last repot and looked lifeless. I set it outside and left it by the rainbarrels

Decided to get a new light. KP1000. Plants are happy now

The plant I thought I killed ended up surviving sitting next to the rainbarrel right next to the wall of my house... where I forgot about it lol.

used Alaska fish fertilizer

tried fimming today. not sure how I did

got two more lights in sayhon sh1200 and a viper p1000

next watering I'll feed. checked my plants FIM... still not sure if I did it right but the AI on here thinks I did alright lol

I caught him before he could eat more than one branch one one and bite another. I cut the ratty branch off
