Day 1 in the 4x4. still work to be done. I started them in a home depot tote to get her roots longer. the one to the left is a transfer from coco to dwc. The other was a clone I cut a couple weeks ago that I hope will power through this "ugly" phase 😅 I think it might just b
Finally seeing those beautiful white roots. Highly reflective film is used to cover the top of flood table. Starting to spread her out slowly. Last photo is my keeper from a recent harvest of Dante's Inferno 😎
A bit behind this week. Here nonetheless. she's starting to move fast now. slowly training her out still. added another platinum jelly clone simply because it rooted and now I gotta see what happens. also did a reservoir change. most likely going to train the main plant sometime this week. I haven't touched these plants much. Mostly training and tucking leaves. Main plant is taking over and experimental plant doing its thing. Roots look immaculately delicious and the plant is already smelling up the whole area pretty damn good😋

Before, I was blind. Now, I can see! Finally got a ph meter because the plants look sad and I couldn't take it anymore. And good thing I did because the ph of the res was 3.69! Moving forward. Going to defoliate tonight and plan to flip in a week or two depending on how they recover. Already did the smaller one because its... small 😅 I plan on doing better with the updates. Did a water change tonight to mark the first day of flower. Gonna train them as much as possible over the next 2 weeks and watch how she eats. No new signs of deficiencies. Also got a new ph meter to make sure of that. So far so good 👍🏿
CALCIUM! I think it's a calcium deficiency. If anyone disagrees, let me know with right answers only 🤣 added cal mag for the first "serious" time. Gonna get to the bottom of this
Potassium, calcium or sulfur deficiency.. could be any one of them from the info I have. I could also be wrong. In anycase I hope you find a solution. Wish I could post an image along with my comment to send you the picture im looking at for diagnosis help.

Your ph maybe a bit low for that strain, it’s struggling to absorb calcium and magnesium. If you gave cal mag already and it hasn’t changed it’s your ph. Sometimes you have to swing ph in hydroponics/ coco. Cal mag absorption under 6.0 ph slows way down.
These plants require cal mag , especially using LED lights . U only want to use cal mag week 1-3 flower stage. Check calmag & see how much nitrogen is in it . U want lower nitrogen in flowed
Also check your EC in run off , salt levels could be to high .
Thanks for all the help everyone. Please read notes and description as I am full hydro. Soil tips help, but i have no runoff. Ive never had to use cal mag in the past. To be fair, I wasn't looking for a deficiency 😅 added calmag already so we'll see how she responds
I let it swing from 5.8 to 6.5. It swings higher but i dont usually let her swing further than that. Also do you think a new bluelab pen would be defective 2 weeks out the box? My ph was low because of a pen issue, hopefully not again lol
It’s totally possible. Ph pens aren’t perfect. Even expensive ones can fail. Your roots look healthy so don’t think it’s root issues. I use cheap ph pens and calibrate / verify often. Water temps matter when calibrating. I use 77 degrees when calibrating. If I ever am doubting I use the GH drops and shaker bottle.
I just recently broke down and got the same ph droppers. Seems we can't escape the dropper. Ill double check to see if it's calibrated correctly but I'm sure i followed instructions to the T
Forgot to switch my timer from "on" to "timer" and left the water running for over 5 days. Lost control of these plants due to busy work life and being a dad (back to school). Hopefully we can bounce back when I get time to change the water and really focus on these plants. I'll update with pics when I get a chance

Still looks to be suffering from the week of "infinite" water. To be fair, all I did was change the water. I did notice tonight some growth in pistils. Maybe the plant will survive? Stay turnt, until the next episode of "Dads trying their best" 👨🏿🤞🏿

Though she looks pretty... bad. I think we're out of lockout. She's been praying these past couple days since the water change. Also defoliated most of the yellowing leaves. This could be a good flower or a bad one. Smells like a damn jelly donut 😋🤤 makes me want to get this one right so bad. We go onward

Give them some potassium And microbes with molasses they are tougher than you think. You came this far, couple weeks and your harvesting at its peek Just my thoughts though. I have chopped early out of frustration and regret it every time. 👊
This is still full hydro SIX. Molasses wont do well. I have been giving more potassium and phosphorus.

Oh that’s right I forgot you were doing hydro. Yeah don’t use it. I double the amount of potassium at week 5 of flower. They really need it in the last couple of weeks. That and magnesium sulfate and vitamin b1.

Put a fee banana chunks that would help out a tremendous amount. And a few more days

Get banana powder mix it in and with in mins you can see the change
Don't know if this was Genetics or me messing up the nutes, this flower doesn't smoke as well as I'd like or imagine. Smells is probably the best thing going for this one right now. The taste isn't bad, just wish I could've made it taste better. All in all, it's something to smoke and I'm good with that. I have one platinum jelly in flower next to Dante's Inferno so if that one turns out good, I'll keep the mother. Otherwise kick 🪨's and on to the next 👍🏿🤙🏿
Now that I remember bro I had a jelly donut from a store an it was eh too smelled good but that's it tasted weird. Thought it was jus me🤷

Right but it shouldnt be that bad tho even if you messed up a lil. You gota figure it's a plant nothing supposed to be perfect unless in a chamber with a bunch of gauges to mess with everything
Get some soil infintry that improves taste i sware . Go to coes- creations. Com they have a bottle for 25& you’ll notice the difference by the 2 nd dose

that's why they look bad .they probably need a plant spray till things get going . but I think u got er . I use foop during this stage.im a live soil guy
