What’s the blanket for? It is to keep pests down? Always wondered I’ve seen some others use this method I’m just ignorant on the purpose?
I do it for insulating from heat. Some use tinfoil, i use a blanket
Oh boy. By not opening the reservoir when i refilled the system every 3 days, i let this happen. Roots blocked the return line, system backed up and started to rot. Luckily it happend in the last 3 days and not sooner. Plant looks fine otherwise, so i think it will be fine. Took some extra care to flush the system a bit better. Keeping a closer eye on everything
Thats weird behavior. Still looking alright, roots look good, not too hot. We'll see what happens. Changed the air stones as they keep clogging up. (Allready the fifth time in this grow) 3d printed them now as thats more cost-effective. Added a venturi to the feedline to incorporate air, helping the air stones in tandem
that's awful where were they from or was it bag seeds
no bag seeds. first 10 was from barneys farm and the other are from super strain seeds. more than half sprouted but didn't made it past the first leaf
did you have environment dialed in for seedlings to survive and thrive in
i took more care this time than last time lol. I did hear from friends they struggled this year too
yeah maybe bad genetics... check out Brothers Grimm seeds they have some nice cheap prices well deals 9 beans for $10-$15 on select packs
I wouldn't be surprised if you see a lot of seed deals an edible deals here soon lol with the ban
