Photo Time📸🕞

I just got a Spider Farmer ppfd, and cO2 meters and Spider Farmer humidifier for this grow. Excited to have better light accuracy for this grow.

This is my favorite part. Gorilla melon emerged with no issues. The Z42 emerged with helmet head. I waited a day to see if it could shed it on its own, and then plucked it off myself. The shell membrane was then stuck to the seedling. I moistened it for a day and then used tweezers to remove the membrane so the plant could open. Next post has pics.

The Z42 is recovering nice from it's initial struggles. The cotyledons are especially long. Maybe that's from it's prolonged time in it's husk. Let's see what that does for it's veg phase.

I had to stake the gorilla melon. Z42 is stretching slightly. Nothing too alarming.

Plants are growing fine. Z42 is showing signs of hunger and needing more fertigation. I'm only fertigating once every other day though, so the seed starting mix in the small pots can dry slightly.

Transplanted plants into their forever homes. 5 gallon fabric pots. I know they're showing nitrogen deficiency signs, but stay tuned for how they're going to respond to more EC, fertigation, and the added room for root growth.

Nitrogen problems are fixed and plants are growing well.

Time to top plants. Z42 is showing strong apical dominance. Maybe this strain needs topping sooner🤔🧐. Plants have responded well to the transplant and gradual ppfd and EC raises.

Both plants endured no stress from topping. They both had noticeable branch growth the next morning. Look at this growth after a few days from topping.

Needed to cut some lower branches and damaged/or lower leaves. I'll give them a week, or less if the keep growing so fast and flip them.

Flipped plants today.

Plants are doing great. Getting ready for a week vacation. I set up spider farmer drip irrigation. I set the reservoir on a table and had to learn the lesson of gravity and vacuum siphoning. Lol. I came home one day to saucers full of water with the pots sitting in the water. I put the reservoir on the ground and poked a small pinhole in the feeding hose from the pump in the reservoir to break any vacuums. Glad it happened before I left for vacation😉

Came back from vacation and the plants got huge during the seven days I was gone. No issues with irrigation or drainage while I was away. 😊

I always trellis a little late, but no worries. 👌🏻😁 I'll use the trellis to spread the main branches to even out the canopy and support any weak branches, although their branches look pretty sturdy. I'll give them a good clean up in about a week or two when the stretch slows.

So I grew my plants too big for my tent again( I'll keep learning. It's fun🤪🫠). I've run out of room.
Now I'll just keep tying branches and bending them away or into the light.
Let the bract swelling begin.
