Grow Timeline (12 updates)
After all the issues I’ve had with these seedlings, all my fault, I am pleased with how they look. Transplant day is soon, but not today. I need my soil to get here though so I can transplant and feed the girls for the first time.
Went ahead and topped the first three. I have hundreds of seeds for them so I don’t plan on cloning at all. The other two older ones will be topped in a week or two when I can cut down to the 4th node and clone the top. Then the younger two will be topped when they’re ready.
Getting full
Was doing some training to the supernova, and bent a little too hard way too low, and snapped her right above the 2nd node. I have her taped back up and I’ve done this before so with any luck she’ll be like my first plant I broke and pull through just fine.
These plants are very resilient. Water the plant 12 hours before u plan on bending & tying branches down this will help soften the branches.
Thank you for the tip. Softness wasn’t the issue this time. I was just dumb and bent the wrong spot too far. I got cocky on my training and paid for it.
Damn lil bro sorry to hear ans see that but like cannabee you give it a really good watering add a half more then what you normally use 12 hr before training and idc what you do I mean you would just about have to cut it before it snapped alot of growers don't really and truly fully understand how much water plays a part in any thing you do with cannabis
Interesting. I wish you could have seen the snap. But I’m not unwrapping it now and I panicked so didn’t take pictures. I do water before my training, because I water every other day and don’t train on days the girls feel especially stiff. Now I know I should water more on days I plan to train so thank you for telling me that.
That’s why I don’t bend them unless I loosen the skin first 😂 Short, thick girls snap way easier than the stretchy ones… gotta handle them right or you’ll bust something you didn’t mean to 😈🤙

Okay so I need to know is it possible for a male to pollinate my girls while still under 18 and 6 light? I want to save this guy for a breeding project I’m starting very soon, but am unsure if it’ll contaminate the rest of my tent.
To my knowledge it will pollinate your girls and you don’t want that to happen unless you are trying to cross other strains with one another
I know that! I am saving it to breed with and cross strains. I need to know if it’ll pollinate while in the 18 and 6 light schedule or if it won’t until I switch it to 12 and 12?
Unless others know I wouldn’t be able to tell you I would have to ask my mentor that has taught me everything that I know

You can clone it and give yourself a few weeks. That'll shift it to growing roots, but it doesn't reset maturity. Also you can spray the flowers w water and cut them off. Just the flower. It's dicey bc you can easily miss a flower

Glad I got it before they open and happy I got a male. I have a breeding project starting and was gonna reverse a female but this works better.

Ok yea there's that too .yea u wish I would of saved my male rs11 .my uncle was big in my area very well known grower .he died a legend but I dream some day of naming a strain after my uncle .to bad the family won't give me ashs to grow a plant with his ashes in it .I did that when I best friend died
They sell reg seeds over at multiverse dimebag seeds on there 10$ for 10 .I got some for spring been buying a lot of shit for spring big things coming my way .I finally have all the equipment u need to grow .I went without vents and humidifier.got one for my birthday a vent and humidifier but first humidifier was junk paid 7$ more and it kicks ass

This one came from my own personal stash. It was a regular seed and I was assuming I’d get a male or two.

So this is only my second photoperiod grow ever. Should I flip them now, or wait another month like I was planning? If I flip them now I’ll put in a second trellis right now as well for when they stretch to it.
That’s up to u man ! For me it depends on what’s going on if there a foot or 2 tall and I’m done having problems then I flip . But if things going good I wait till there 2 to 3 foot max being that they normally dbl sometimes triple size

Yeah they definitely need a little more defoliation but aside from that, anything I need to do for them atm? I have the room in my tent for them to up to quadruple in size right now so I’ll let them go another little while and do some defoliation tomorrow.
They look great honestly despite needing a defoliation. Personally I wouldn’t let them get passed 3 ft before u flip

That’s what I was saying to a guy yesterday. U hardly need 20 years experience. People growing good weed there first time already. Experience only matters when u have problems but some soil makes in problems free . Good choice of soil. Honestly I have 100%!hook up on germanate with miracle grow just for starting a seed I just add some perlit but yea miracle grow is good for germanation only we just don’t have pro mix by me
See and I started out with generic brand soil mixes and just had terrible plants at first. But I transplanted the survivors into better soil and they took off. That’s when I learned how much good soil matters and why I don’t trust myself to mix my own just yet.
I also am using foxfarm 1 part happy frog and 2 parts ocean forest, 8 qts of Back to the Roots organic perlite, Back to the Roots worm castings 2 qts and save 1 quart for top dressing every 3 to four weeks. I must say biologically magical.
