You need some perilite in your soil. Helps with drainage

Looks like pH is way off in soil or water if they grew well an fell over or like he said the stem couldnt breathe
I jus had that problem awhile ago with pH an soil an seedling looking good growing fine then fall over an die idk jus my thoughts
