lost my best looking Sour Stomper, not sure yet whether topping will help yield or hurt the one I topped, Double Grape smelled so tasty when I got home I only snagged a pic of the buds 🤣 night pic to show frosting and for zoomed out pic of the plant. Sour Stomper starting to frost so I let off on the ties to let it get those stalks grow up from being close to the soil, but smelling like a funky gas. Double Grape smells so damn good and sweet that I am super STOKED for it! Been only feeding once a week, may have to step it up if they keep showing me signs of yellowing.
Any tips/tricks/suggestions would be greatly appreciated!! I'm being as patient as possible and trying to get them as potent as possible! HIGHLY recommend giving Double Grape and Sour Stomper a go! In fact, I can't find a thing wrong with Mephisto Genetics strains, they all seem to just be overall better looking/structure/smell than the RQS ones. Really loving the Double Grape and those purple colors coming through, I sure hope I'm surprised with more flower than it seems lol fingers crossed third run will be better since the first two were basically just one run together a couple days apart lol
The Sour Stomper that I messed up won't give me much but she is sticky icky and sweet! Double Grape whitening up, getting thicker, and very unique berryish wine mix that's nice and sweet on the nose. Fingers crossed I can get them all to peak potency and maintain those terps! Tired of spending too much on flowers really need to have some luck to stock some personal!
I forgot to add...I learned a valuable lesson. Do not do any gardening/yard work outside and then walk in and check your ladies. Overnight, just enough spider mites found their way to the Double Grape to see noticeable web around the main tip of the cola. Luckily I had picked up some "Mighty Mist: Plant Protection" after seeing it approved for hemp online. I found them after maybe 6 hours of sleep and had checked them right before with not a sign of even a gnat. It was first thing in the morning and after spraying very, very light mist from a distance it took the spider mites out on the spot. I turned off the lights but back on after 6 hours and I should've moved that cola from directly underneath. That is what caused the small bit of burnt tip due to the essential oils in the spray being a bit too hot with the light on it. Correct me if I'm wrong or if any tips on what you would recommend to do. I was going to leave it unless it got too crispy then a gentle snip with cleaned trim shears.
