The net is supposed to help spread the plant horizontally instead of it growing up vertically. Is this an auto? Looks like it's in flower
U want to weave the branches thru the netting to create a nice even canopy . As plant grows just bend branches thru each square of netting . It helps with lighting thru the canopy
You have good equipment. You just need to pay attention to time. Early veg stage you could have popped her to split the main branch into two. Slightly stress the plant. You can low stress train your plant to spread out below the canopy and use it to manage growth during early veg. You’re in early flower stage now so I recommend at most you lollipop her. Not to aggressive. Just so she can focus energy on the bud sites.
Don’t top autos
Thanks Tac for the feed back. I know a lot of growers/breeders are not topping anymore. I still do depending on the plant or if I am planning on making an F1 strain. It gives me more bud sites STS reversal. I posted a few videos of some autos I have in 4 RDWC that I topped. Aside from them being some it the tallest autos I’ve grown before… They seem to be doing fine in their early/mid flower. Why do you suggest to not top autos?
Autos have such a short veg time that when topping they have a higher chance to not recover and it end up hurting yield in the long run. Now that being said, I’ve never tested it, that’s just why I read. So if you’re having luck topping my opinion is don’t stop but be sure people know there are risks to it.
Hey Beard. Thanks man. I’ve been growing for a little over 25 years now. I don’t usually fuck with autos anymore but when I do I have had zero problems topping them, or training them. It’s just timing. That’s said there is always something great to learn about our beautiful plants 👍🏼
All great info. This is my first go at this so I’m just now figuring out the top from the bottom😂😂 That being said I am a Budtinist dummy😎. One of my peeps helped me and since this was my first one we decide to take less chances for me to kill it. But now that I know I enjoy the entire growing process, I’ll no doubt explore doing different or new things once I get my needs supplied. 👊🏽🇺🇸

She still drinking. I had to replace another liter of water. I also finally got a chiller and it works perfect. Keeps my water at 67-68. Performed actiontype.watering
