Grow Timeline (43 updates)
fed full dose at 100% today. 700ml of water over 5 minutes. its been lasting her until her next feeding. all seems to be good
Henrietta is looking nice!!!
thank you sir π«‘
thank you sir π«‘
Only feeding once a week and watering twice a week
beauty
thank yuh π«‘ she's doing much better than the first!
that's a good frequency, looks good... Keep on keeping!
thank you man I appreciate it π«‘
great progress!
also fed with Fox Farms Big Bloom and fox farms Grow big. raised light one inch , and is approximately 24 inches from the top of the canopy.
trying to get her to stretch ?
just a tad
that was kinda what I figured . she seemed a bit low to the pot . some just grow real compact like that though . I personally keep mine at 18 - 20 in max . 20 when I need one to stretch .
she was at 22 inches π«‘ so I raised her 2. im just trying to see how the stalk will turn out since I started using silica this grow in my nutrient mix.
what mix you rocking ?
fox farms: grow big & fox farms: big bloom, until vegetation stage is done then i drop the grow big (its highest in nitrogen) then I add fox farms tiger bloom and continue the big bloom as well
heck ya I've heard cool stuff about fox farm . i recommend trying out Athena . this grow has been phenomenal and it's my first time using them but you can tell a difference right off
oh yeah for sure! ill give them a look π«‘
just saying it's the first time I've used something that I had a bud growing on a fan leaf
thsts definitely legit π«‘
hey bro she looking real good . nice job π
thank you so much man π«‘
Just a heads up, Athena nutrients are made for hydroponic growing. not the best for soil. you can have issues in soil.
yes , I use promix HP or royal gold 70/30. I have had no issues .
I use fox farms everything. soil and nutrients
also added 1 tsp per half gallon of rhino skin. (silica) every feeding
hmmm whatβs the rino skin for?
I always put on tsp per half gallon of silica in her feed mix. You'll notice major growth in the base of the stalk and branches. bigger branches, bigger buds. Just make sure to watch the ph palance of your soil when using silica it'll bump it a little. rn my soil is sitting right at 6.8 to 7.0 normally.
okay π Iβm doing hydroponics so I want thick stalks too so what do u suggest? based on my Grow guide?
I grow all organic soil indoors, brother, I honestly have no idea how to grow hydroponically, or what the difference in nutrients should be compared to soil
true that.
Just watch on the app for anybody that's growing hydroponically, and ask them for their advice. I found one guy who gave me advice and the difference in my first plant to my plant now is insanely different. There's a lot of good people in here that really know what they're doing
okay thank you I really love everything about this plant and wanna grow the best she can be
of course π«‘
shes gotten so big, like wow
I think i did her alright this time π«‘ she smells beautiful π
probably longer than a few weeks since u seem to have some issues going on with that lady there so could be longer to finish up and donβt go based on the time on the package if it says 8 weeks let it go week and some days more
her nitrogen dropped so I've had some yellowing on the leaves. I also had to adjust her light she was getting a little light burnt itd been a week or so since id adjusted it since growing taller π«‘
Iβve had similar issues that stage of flowering what I always do is keep humidity 40% at that stage and I only do a light top dressing after the pre flower stretch is done few 3tablespoons of roots organic and then couple more tablespoons few weeks no later than week 5 flowering and I always water very slow I never get deficiencies anyway follow and check out my outdoor greenhouse all my pics
also I like to used light doses of fish emulsion in veg that stuff and or anything the seaweed extract in it omfg explosive veg growth
hoping to start pulling from the top next week.
are u still feeding fertilizer u should stop and flush a bit before harvest
she's got about 14 days left id say. I usually flush for 10 days before harvest. her trichomes are still too clear i wait for them to turn a nice amber before harvesting
what dose pulling from the top mean removing them top half
So my uncle used to tell me and it has never failed if you look at the plant and think itβs ready, give it another week or two
I would agree definitely
yes pulling the buds that are done from the top and let the bottom buds at the lower part of the canopy that aren't receiving as much light. Because I didn't do any low stress training so the buds on the bottom grow much much slower than the buds up top
defoiliated her after the pics as well.
I saw your pics and was about to say donβt chop that yet lol let it fade out like fall colors before chopping that my uncle used to tell me if u think itβs ready let it go another 2 weeks and ive stuck by that every time for the last 20 years ive been growing and im glad i do because the last 2 weeks is the most crucial because the buds do one last ditch effort to put all the past energy into making the buds swell just before the plant is about to die
looking good , make sure to have a lite breeze on her to stiffen the stalk & harden her up . use a fan from a distance
she has a nice fan beside her. little box fan its on 24 7
I forgot to tell u about VPD vapor pressure Deficet is very important. they have a free APP for a VPD calculator. u type in the tempature & humidity & it will calculate the VPD & u need to be in range for seedling , vegetative & Flower stage . Iβll give u the numbers u need to be in .
seedlings stage should be 0.6-1.1 Kpa 70-80degrees & 60-70%RH vegetative stage is 0.6-1.4Kpa 70-80degrees 50-70% RH & Flower stage is 0.8 -1.8Kpa 70-80 degrees 40-60% RH . it easier to really do this w/tent & the equipment has the temps & VPD
did u trim the leaves off the buds before drying it ? if not do that π
yeah i trimmed it after it was dry. it was only 2 grams anyway πππ
just let it cure for 2 weeks & continue to burp it
did u see the free app for the VPD calculator? use that to judge the environment. itβs important for plant growth

yeah i saw it in tools and dialed it in
I forgot they have it in the tool box , I never use that . forgot about it . I just know the VPD #βs . all the equipment I have in grow tents have it . I also have my tent automated with the NIWA

not to be rude and butt in just curious I've herd to chopp n let hang leave the leave on till you put in the jars n trimm up before u put em in the jars n burp em.? is it better to leave the leaves on during cure and dry trimm or do a wet trimm ? I think it's a preference but as long as they don't tast like hay or grass I'm good. I also add the sugar sp n helps with the mirco bacteria flowers smell, n tast like berries ,so if I'm adding it I want it to work but supposed to help the flavor and bring out and develop flavors n terps .
I leave all the fan leaves on . if it to humid I will remove most of the fan leaves . I always dry trim then put it in the jar . the moisture has to be 12-14% when putting in the jars . if u leave the leaves on & put in the jar u will have to much moisture & will risk bud rot . always put a hygrometer in the jar so that moisture is at 62% .
yep and I never fill the Jar to the top just about 70 percent to top,dry about 10 days to 2 weeks and then jar n burp but I'm thinking of just getting some grove baggs never used em so idk if I should ?
I need to get some more small hydrometer too the ones they have at walmart are to big n bulky I can't put those in the Mason jars I have ? so I need to find some but not on line ,have any recommendations? cheep?
Amazon has em & they pretty cheap & u get around 10 in a pack
I donβt like to cure em in the grove bags , they good for when someone is learning so they donβt mess em up . I donβt know if u have a Harbor Freight Tools by u , they sell small wood moisture meters for $10 . has 2 small prongs & u can stick it in buds to get the moisture content. only problem is meter to small for smaller buds
nice bet
yeah u need mine sticky but can burn a joint and don't have to light it more than once or twice ,so idk if the Grove bags are for me .just saw a add.
