Fed them their first nutrients last night let’s see how it goes, am I LST this right plz let me kno asap Thank You
how do they look after u fed em?
they looking good honestly someone told me to top them tho
u can top it at the 5th node or u can let it get a little taller & top it & then i able to clone it .how weather in Scotland? one day i love to go there . love the architecture. I been to Ireland have family there
I bend lower branches with flower sites to get more light. I never have bent the main stem.
There are so many ways to LST but I think the reason most people do it is to control the canopy and bud sights. Moving and bending branches away from each other so that future fan leaves arent blocking each other is the gist IMO
so maybe I should take the clip off and just top it for now. ?
take the clip off and top it...I use a trellis/scrog for LST
yeah I took it off and gonna wait for the next node to top it
I think it's best to lst with a end vision in mind. When you can visualize your end game, then grows become much more organized and manageable. By leaning it early, one side of the plant will recieve more light than the other. and growth will reflect this. The only time I chose this route, was when I was growing 4 pots in the corners and one in the center to make room for the center to properly branch out. As far as topping goes, I've done plenty of scrogs without topping a single time. Topping does not equate to higher yeild, it's more of a height control tool. Every time you top, you split the stem which takes away from the bigger main cola. Thats why if you pay attention to my grows, I only have 4 main branches and have those feeding the tentacles of leveled tops and I never top the 4 mains.
LST is a learning process that you have to do yourself. It doesnt matter what people say because everyone has their own way of doing it. You'll find your way soon enough, find insperation from others and work your way there ;)
I ended up topping 2 of them so far and they are doing great I’ll LST the other 2 when they get just alitte bigger.. Thanks for everyone Input tho I appreciate it all
I feel like I need to trim away some of the leaves away so their not blocking everything, what should I do any advice is Welcomed. I have Yellow tips on One plant could be over nutrients or my lights are to close . Help
I would fix your toxicity issues before you trim. your ec is too high for the size of plant, your root zone has to many nutrients and not enough plain water. I recommend flushing with plain ph water until your ec comes down otherwise she will stunt growth 👍
Personally I prefer to move, but when they're stubborn, I don't hesitate to remove. At this stage, ground stakes and wire work wonders.
Or maybe I’m just stressing because they are still young
Are you using silica?
One tip looks yellow, it's the tip could be nute burn, you might want to check EC/ppm of your runoff
yeah I believe I gave it nutes way to earlier or my lights was way to close either or I’ve correct both ideas and waiting to see better results, thanks for all the Advice
They look healthy and put on some growth since last post
yeah I just went back and looked I’m just alittle impatient and expect to see major growth ha but does anyone wanna tell me when I should LST?
anywhere after the 5th node starts is good, there are tons of you tubers just search cannabis low stress training, cannabis mainlineing, cannabis toping
use only 1/4 strength of what the bottle says .definitely pick up bottle of silica that will strengthen the stem & build up the cells in the leaves. with coco u will need Cal-Mag . I didn’t see if u were running Photos or Auto’s u can top at the 5th node . also u can do tie downs . check out the bud trainers site . there clips that will open up the canopy . if u not sure about topping then try on 1 plant & see how that goes . it not hard & im sure they have plenty of videos . topping is high stress training. I didn’t supercrop this past run I tried the clips . I prefer HST
I did 1/4 of recommendation of nutrition and also cal mag , I’ll look into silica never heard of it to be honest and I got the LST clips I’ll probably start that next week tbh
what nutrients u using ? general hydroponics has armor si which might be a lil cheaper then other brands . I use advanced nutrients & they have Rhino Skin . u want to use silica so that the stem & branches has a lot of strength to hold up the flowers .
