lil Slurry, first grow

hell yeah

overall, just sprayed the top of the soil so it doesn't get too dry overnight, she looks healthy as far as I'm aware, so hell yeah. I've never seen a seedling for a weed plant in my entire life, she's so cute lol

decided that for the next day or two I will not be spraying the soil, spare a few sprays on the leaves to keep the leaves moist. the reasoning is because this morning her leaves were very droopy. I took the Ziploc bag off, sprayed the leaves instead of the soil, and just let her do her thing. she bounced back super quick!! she has made so much progress the last few days, it's honestly really cool to see. every single time I look, she looks bigger, happier, and healthier. I can't wait to see how her next leaves look, as they're finally starting to sprout! wish me luck! if y'all notice anything that I didn't, please let me know :)

transplanted her into fox farms strawberry fields soil, since it's just better soil quality in general, and I added some mycorrhizal to her roots. diatomaceous earth on top to get rid of fungus gnats, I'll leave it there for a few days to keep that defense going before I spray my plant again. overall, this is going extremely well! she's not stressed, she's growing her first 3 blade fans, and everything seems to be going really well!! lil Slurry is happy :)

she's doing great! her grow speed is somewhat inconsistent, one day there will be no progress at all and the next there's a huge spike in growth. but, it seems like she's taken kindly to the Mycorrhizal and her grow big nutes, she has gotten her vibrant green color back, and we are on the way to veg, her 3 blade leaves are out and her next node is forming. also, I've noticed the leaves are developing branches! really cool stuff, I think I like the growing more than the idea of free bud curated perfectly to how I want it lol

yesterday, she was found turning away from the light, as I had the light a bit too close. I believe the light was giving off heat that was beginning to burn my seedling. moved the light away, turned my fan down a bit and now she seems totally fine and happy! I'm glad to see her doing well. I may give her a small amount of nutes for thanksgiving lol, I'm sure she will love it

I'm extremely excited for this stage, this means that soon enough I'll be topping my plant a few times and using my trellis. I'm not sure how fast this will be but she is sure as hell growing like crazy, in the last night alone her 5 blade leaves opened up and got bigger, and she has a new node, and her stems are coming out more. very happy and very proud of how this is going. I can't wait to see how this goes

She's getting bigger, so I have upped the nutrient intake to 2 tsp per gallon of pH altered water. It's going well, she loves the nutes. Performed a FIM as well, she reacted well, and is currently growing new stems out of her nodes. It seems like the vegetative growth spike is upon us. Also, side note, she jumped straight from 3 finger leaves to 7 finger leaves. Very happy about that. Much love ❤️🔥

Going well, I hate seeing my plant tied down like this but I gotta do what I gotta do. I also cut a few of her fan leaves to help light reach the lower nodes that are branching out as a result of my topping/fimming. So far, we have 4 new main stems, but that could increase to 8 new stems if the upper nodes start to grow out, which I've seen them begin to do. It feels so wrong to stress her out like this after being so gentle with her for the past 3 weeks but, I want this to turn out well and have a nice yield, and people told me to do this, so here's to hoping for a swift recovery! She's still somewhat recovering from all of the stress from defoliation, LST, transplant and topping all in around 2 weeks time, but thankfully all of these things are working splendidly. She's beautiful.

After watching some vids, it looks like I am very close to hitting that growth spike, and I'm extremely excited for it. The wound where I topped initially has turned into 2 new growths, after speaking with a fellow grower in the area, it sounds like she is growing 2 new main colas or more, and the new leaves and stems from the nodes are absolutely flying out right now.

Something I've wondered about for a while is flat leaves as well, mine are always curled a bit and it seems like that's a result of light intensity, so I've gradually been raising my light day by day and now some of her leaves look absolutely perfect.

I'm so happy with how this is turning out. I also added some humic acid to her nutrient regimen, so we shall see how that turns out. Just waiting for vertical growth to resume, she's filled out quite nicely as a result of her topping and she's getting closer to vertical growth, wish her luck for the next few days for this! I've decided to keep this grow simple, I'll do some tucking and keep the fan on it of course but other than that and some SCROG, that's all I'm gonna do for my first grow. I've already done enough training to get the main stem super thick and that's all I need, now it's just growth with some guidance.

Something really fuckin awesome is I had no idea the plant changes how it grows as it matures,but while looking around to make sure nothing was going wrong I realized my nodes are out of sync, and the leaves are way flatter now, and god damn the nodes just shot out as soon as I topped. That makes me hella excited, because she almost has her top fully healed and now theres stuff growing out of the wound, so far we have 3 new main colas stems starting to grow and it looks like even more are coming. This plant is so damn fascinating. I'm not kidding when I say, I was depressed as shit when I started doing this and this lil Slurry bought me out of my depression almost completely. I finally have something I can do with my life. Fuck yeah. And, I got some seeds for when I get a bigger tent so that I can actually start breeding and phenohunting, so that I can really get involved in the business side of things, because this is absolutely what I want to do with my life. I gotta stop watering, I have an addiction to watering this MF. She's beautiful though! The top turned out hella nicely and she's coming along pretty strong. It's hard for me to tell how fast she's growing in real time, but I love it when I come back here and I think damn.... That was only 3 days ago?! Lol. It's insane how fast she be growing. Overall, everything has been great! It's been really cool watching her grow and turn into something truly beautiful. I hope I can continue things the way they are going and I'm excited to see what this stretch is all about!

I got very, very loose with my feeding schedule because I started using organics, but unfortunately I didn't think about the fact that I'm still using synthetic veg nutes

Noticed nitrogen toxicity beginning, so I flushed my soil with 1 gallon of water and a quarter gallon of compost teas to keep the microbial life up and to help with a slight calcium deficiency I'm having with her I also added some organic cal mag. I have to get over the fact that I want to be in the tent doing something all the time, she's strong and healthy and I want things to stay that way, so hopefully that gallon of pH adjusted water helps and hopefully the new half gal of cal mag and microbes helps as well. Wish me luck! It's not a super noticable toxicity but looking closer at the leaves you can see dark coloring taking over almost all of the leaves, and I had just fed her more which I was not going to let kill my plant. I hope I did the right thing here. I need to come up with an actual routine that isn't one coke bottle of water or nutes every day. Maybe one half gallon every 3 days, nutrients one week and pure water the next? What do y'all think, is that a good feed schedule?

Pics are not of right now because she's in her dark hours. I had to rush the flush because of this, thankfully they just started.

So, I've added cal-mag and silica to her diet, fucking hell that shit works. I have been adding small amounts every day because I keep my soil moist for the microbes, which seems to be working great. The silica and cal mag have turned her stem into a literal tree branch, the knuckles in the stem are literally just what the nodes grew into when I topped and they are T H I C C. Looks like I'll be getting some nice, dense nugs hopefully. She's showing her first signs of flower, no pistils yet but small growths at the nodes, which I've read turn into flowers. Not balls, I confirmed that. I transferred her to my new flower tent, she's healthy and happy in there and I have absolutely no complaints. I also repurposed my 2x2 into a veg tent, since they don't need as much heavy ventilation in veg, I'm just using mesh vents and I will be getting a fan in the next 3 days, but I'm sure my new seedling will hold over until then. Also, I measured the width of my plant and she is almost 2 feet wide now. She has also grown about 2 inches taller since I flipped. Happy, happy days lol

Lolipopped her today, since I didn't really have anything else to do for the holidays. Also, I have cloned her. I hope I didn't do this too late, but I doubt it, she seems fine.

Noticed her starting to smell, very gassy and somewhat fruity/sweet terps. No buds yet, but her leaves are starting to get small amounts of trichomes, somehow. If she smells like this in week 1, I can't imagine how good she's about to smell in week 3 🤤

I'm starting to really find a passion for this. I love it so much, so far. It has been absolutely amazing growing this lady into the best she can be, I did flip early because I'm moving soon and I didn't have the space at the time to veg for 3 months. But, now I do. So my new plants will be grown out all the way, and I've cut a clone of this one so I can really see how this pheno does at its fullest potential.

And seriously, merry Christmas y'all. Today might not have been super exciting, or spent with family, but just having something to be happy about and grateful for has been amazing this holiday season. And to be clean from all hard drugs, and quitting nicotine, man, I'm such a different person now it's insane. I love my plants, I don't love my life but I'm working on it, and now I have more plants than I meant to grow so hell yeah, life is good. Decided to SCROG, not to train though. Just to organize. I have some tops longer than others, and many of the tops ended up going outwards to the same exact length so they're covering each other, so I brought my trellis down, and spread her legs out and she's gonna be just fine now. Ultimate canopy coverage. If y'all see anything I could have done better, please let me know, and if this is a bad idea to do in week 2 of flower, definitely let me know and I'll undo it immediately

I have been slowly transitioning from the veg nutrients to the bloom nutes, since bloom is organic I have been feeding full strength to get the ppm up and help feed the microbes that I have also put into my soil. It seems to be working, amazingly. I think I'm starting to understand what I am doing now.

Pistils have finally formed on every node, on every stem, I'm not sure how that's supposed to turn into bud but I'm sure I'll find out in the next week or 2 and words can't express how fucking excited I am to see how bud actually forms. Weed has such a unique and complex structure that's so different from any other flower I've seen, ever, and I can't really comprehend how it forms right now. So I am watching her like a hawk lol trying to figure out what exactly is going to be turning into bud.

She has stretched 3 or 4 inches taller in the last 3 days which is blowing my mind because just a couple days ago she was 7 inches tall, now she's 11 inches tall and I have no idea how or when she decided to grow 3 inches. This is such a fascinating process so I'm very happy to be here and be able to experience it in real time. She is a beautiful plant.

Also, I've noticed that the branches near the top are beginning to turn purple, but only the branches, not the stems and none of the ones near the bottom. I would imagine that is the plant carrying color into the leaves? If she turns out to be a colorful lady i will be a very happy plant papa.

Growmies, I can't even begin to explain how extremely happy I am with the results so far. This started out as like a side project, where I genuinely thought I was only going to be "okay" at this but now, I'm blown away with how this is going. This is absolutely what I want to do with my life. No question about it.

Anyways, just introduced a new top dress of bloom nutes made by a local grower and she loves it. Things are going so much better than I initially thought.

She's gone from less than a foot tall to a foot and a half in the last like 3 days, which is insane just on its own but she's also getting frosty at the nodes and at the bottom of the fan leaves. I am extremely excited to see what comes next. Wish me luck, y'all 🤘❤️🔥

Hell yeah. That's all I really have to say lol. Using a local blend of nutes from a local grow shop as a top dress, 1 tbsp every 2 weeks, gave her the first one about 4 days ago, a bit of leaf tip burn but that's my fault for feeding more veg nutes than needed along with the top dress.

Sugar leaf rub gives me a punch in the nose with some kinda rotten skunk sort of smell, so the smell has changed a hell of a lot, which then dials back into something that smells exactly like fruit punch. But the first aroma is very, very pungent and smells of ass. That means it's gonna be some good shit, right? 🤣🤣 Hopefully the skunk isn't too heavy, not because I don't like skunk but because there are certain people I don't want smelling my plants. But, if it is heavy, that's still very welcome and I'm super excited now. I'm so happy, this is turning out so much better than I thought it would. I never knew the smell could change, but yeah now she smells less like candy and more like a festering raccoon in a bowl of really nice fruit punch. Gnarly. Wish me luck y'all!! Stopped feeding recharge as much, and made some small pH adjustments. So far, she looks better because of the adjusted pH. Using a local top dress blend from a grower friend, and just having a great time overall with this plant. She's doing great!

Her strange smell of fruit punch and old people has evolved into something much more recognizable. She now smells like straight up grape gas and burnt rubber. I've heard organics can bring those out, and I believe it now. I have also heard that strains that have those sorts complex terps are pretty fire. I just like the smell. And, the smell goes back into fruit punch after the first 2 or three sniffs, this lady has some layers for sure. I'm sure the bud she makes will end up really good, at least I hope so. PS- lowered light to 16 inches because she kept stretching a lot. Now the light should be at 830 ppfd and I will be surprised if the bud development doesn't go up now. I hope it does. Much love y'all!

Still feeding organics, it's going amazingly. I've upped the watering to 1-2 coke bottles a day, she's drinking really damn fast, she must be excited to flower. The stretching has slowed significantly and she seems to be fully focused on making nice fat buds now. And holy fuck is she funky. The immediate nose smells like straight skunk and like rotten fruit, but leaning in closer she smells more like grape gas and burnt rubber. Very nice terps. At first she only smelled like candy but she seems to have seriously evolved. Buds are growing at a good rate now, I gotta clear the air out of this room from time to time but other than that, everything is going very well.

Forgot to mention how frosty she is, it looks like a snow came through 😆 looking through my jewlers loupe she is even frostier behind all those pistils. Not much to say this time. The flowers are blooming, the birds are singing, the buds are stinking my house up like fucking crazy, etc. 4 weeks left, y'all!

She looks good, the bud looks like good quality bud, but they're really small. Like the size you'd find in a dispo selling mids. I hope that she swells and gets a bit bigger, I really want to see her start to pack on some weight. I know 4 weeks is a pretty long time, so I'm not really stressed about it I just hope she fattens up a bit.

She's doing great!! Nugs are fattening somewhat, but it seems like most of the swelling and such is already done. I'm gonna veg my next plants out a bit longer and hopefully get some more weight that way but either way, she's looking frosty, nugs looking chunky, and looks like I'll get maybe 2-3 ounces out of this lady if things keep going the way they're going. I didn't expect this to work out so well. But, it's been a hell of a fun time so far. She smells very funky, like a sort of chem funk with fruit punch. She's a slow burner for sure, but she's making some top shelf bud which is hella surprising that I am actually capable of growing good ass bud.

So, due to a move coming up I unfortunately had to harvest this lady early. I got about an oz of decent flower, a ton of trim, and I turned all of it into hash this time. We will call this plant a trial run 😅 definitely messed up, but I still got a decent amount of decent bud, so I can't complain. Now to put Cryptocane into flower!
