it's only my 2nd year I don't know a lot about bud but I do follow highagin and this organic nut on grow your greens on u tube that Josh is a nut about organics he's the owner of boogie brew he thought me all about teas and the weird part is most of us have the stuff right around us that we need.thay wasy first time using a air rater but l see that point I was pouring oxygen bubbles in my soil and it keeps it mixed I know it was good that time it smelled like earth

go on u tube look up 420 scene he makes a nice compost tea pretty easy I'll try to explain it u need a 5 gallon bucket a air rater (air pump for fish tank ) run a cpl hoses next thing u need is cheese cloth or a compost tea bag it's not necessary but it's cleaner umm so fill bucket half way with non chlorine water and pH so put 5 cups of compost or worm casting put in tea bag next add 5 tablespoons of molasses then I use date syrup u can use any sugar or honey next I add 3 tbsp of kelp meal mix all together in bucket let that run for 36 hrs then when u give it to your plants cut it with non chlorine pH water half n half .there's so many ways to make it crate your own way I did give to plants every 3 weeks

I am listening to u guys when I talk these plants are a little stunted probably because I overwatter from now on I'm waiting till it drugs out

screwed up posting so I was checking things out just got into flower and I noticed my roots were at the bottom of the pot so I cut out the bottom and put some soil in a bin hence the bottomless pot !! learned this from soil king then there's no stress repotting them or alot less

I think you’re good. if you’re worried about it carefully take the trash bag and cover the plant with it and tie it at the base. then cut it down

could be. I think I stunted mine by having super compressed soil. the soil was absolutely soaked with rain water, when I transplanted into 5 gallon pots. I'm just letting mine go, trying to learn from mistakes, and get my tent setup ready for the next round. next round will be Bruce Banner autos, in Fox Farm OF/HF with added perlite.

those are good soils I have 4 other plants and I have a whole room dedicated to growing id love to have 1000 wAtt light but I have 3 150 watt mars hydro and 2 50 waters taking care of my larf for edibles Im in front of a dbl window in the front of my house so sun is definitely helping I have dehumidifier too we need it in the north

no I had to transplant her twice and I was overwatering in the beginning and I went to fabric pots so I solved things I'm setup for a back to back run so I'm going to kill it next time .yea I got a fan mounted to me ceiling by my light so I was able to get my plants closer to the light

hey those were stunted a bit to my chronic tonic. is 5 ft tall u can do it with 100 watts u just gotta pay attention to your plants and get them close enough to the light I was never more than 24" from light nutes really help to at first they were getting referilzer In veg I switched to plant magic and tps end of veg later on added amendments cal mag a little bat shit and been using tps terp enhancer tps Silca sucks but there terp enhancer and tps one are great

Yep it's good to share. Mice bad here in the Midwest once the frost starts and most people grow in areas they are not living in daily which is where mice like to be. Glue traps are effective and will keep them off the plants. They are a bit "crueler" compared to other methods but when you talking about your medicine and cash crop I think it's worth the measure. I would glue trap the plants and set food bait traps around the space to try and get an idea where they might be coming in from.

yes watched a cpl videos . couldn't figure it out at first then I noticed a hole in my training clips so I ran my rope through there them ran one line through the hole and tied it to the other piece of string .this helps u have more tips right ??? rice water had enzymes in it and micronutrients some npk .gives a growth spurt .it's also good for skin also precursor for labs u add milk to it take out the whey .I'm starting to learn Korean farming.and I like playing sciencetest. I watch garding with griffens on u tube .and I follow Luna whitcomb in Instagram. umm also a book called jadaam written by the son of the guy who invited Korean farming ...it does more if u Google it it will tell u .just to much to text but u let it sit till it gets foamy also this technique was thought to me by canna bee

I use that app and acording to me its been working well cuz my plants do react well acording to what the ppdf shows

I just compared the app with my meter... it's off about 200ppfd... I'm sure there's a possible significant difference depending on model of phone, camera condition, etc. I'm using a Samsung S22Ultra. App reads 638, meter reading 873... I have a sunrise/sunset curve so the DLI isn't going to calculate correctly. edit: just tried photone, and it's even worse, but it is alerting me to use a diffuser for accurate results and prompts me to links to aquire one.

I have the photone app and diffuser. My line grow I had the light a certain high and intensity. When I used the paper diffuser it said ~600 ppfd, I got the clip diffuser and I was blasting my plant during flower with 1000 ppfd lol. With the diffuser I wish you can give me a readin and let me know how accurate that it. On YouTube it shows almost spot on.

I'm sure it makes all the difference... I haven't looked into the cost and still have a ton of equipment of my wish list. If I had access to one, I would do it in a heartbeat.

Yeah, these are really hard. I actually started building a PPFD estimator for this app, but I paused on it because phones can’t truly measure PPFD. Without a real quantum sensor, it would only ever be an estimate, and I didn’t want the backlash of people treating rough numbers as precise. Because if it CAN happen it will. lol I may still add a basic version later, but it would be clearly labeled as an approximation, not a replacement for a real meter.

Yep going to go with this is approximately someone did compare this too a ppfd meter for me .and a shout out to him for doing it thank u .but yes was off but will help u dial lights up .but it's not super accurate by all means but helps thats all . ultimately read your plants if they taco u have to move light up . But I do think this is a worthy topic as new stuff comes out thanks guys

I do a ton of marigolds they say it’s a good companion plant to all gardens helps with pests . Yep I have been testing this to help other growers out. But i sware my plants were not the healthiest when I first started it . I was getting over a potassium overdose . That’s a pain in the butt washing that out of live soil . The lastthing u wanna do to live soil is rinse omg . But yea soil infintry got me healthy again and just puttered skunk terps loud aamf
