Grow Timeline (10 updates)
I ended up waterlogging the 2-gallon fabric pots, which I knew would probably come back to bite me. I let them dry out a bit and transplanted them into 7-gallon pots with Promix, and I’m going to keep letting them dry out some more. I should’ve done the same with the Kush Mints on the right, but they should recover in a couple weeks. I’ll hit them with another foliar Cal-Mag spray at lights off.
The Kush Mints #2 in the 2-gallon pots are ready for more training and then a transplant. I also have three Vortex F2 clones (originally created by Subcool)two #6s and one #4.
I’ve got three seedlings going through training right now: two from an accidental open pollination between a Sour Cream and a Cookies strain (calling it Buzzard’s cookies or Vickey’s cookies) that I’m hunting through, and one Pineapple Chunk that I’m hoping turns out to be a male. I’m not able to do a whole lot right now.. so hopefully I don’t mess it all up 😅.
Watered each 7-gallon pot with 2 liters of plain water. I’ll give them another day, then clean up the lower growth, do some supercropping (a little chiropractor popping), and add some LST or set up the net. I’m a little worried they’re going to get too big, so I’ll probably flip them to flower next week.
That's alot of watering going on ,have you ever thought about a automated dripp irrational autopots ? So you don't have to go to every pot so much but it's good you do to checking on them.It keeps bids out and u see what's going on better.
Well I ended up overwatering them in 2 gal pots then transplanted in promix so it’ll soak up that water. Now that they recovered I want the whole pot moist so there’s no dry spots in the soil I’ll prob just do a liter here in a few days so the top doesn’t dry out. I noticed I wasn’t watering enough or let them dry out to much so there was dry spots in the pot which explains the salt build up But yeah I would like to get an auto water system especially for them days I can’t be around or hurt to much. Right now I just use a sump pump hooked up to a garden sprayer and just stand in the door and do timed watering.

Yeah That godfather turned out super dense with darker hairs. Kinda disappointed in the terps it’s the only one that didn’t turn out dank even after cracking it open you get that slight piney smell but when you’re smoking it, it taste pretty good

From seed supreme. Grew it outside and inside got the same results. Though it’s resilient, easy to grow, and dense no matter the situation. Just whish the terps smacked a little harder

Oof that animal mints cross sounds🔥🔥🔥 Legendary strain right there. I grew a white fire alien og like 7-8 years ago I don’t know if it’s the same but boy was that some pressure back then.

gave them a thorough soak today with a two step watering: 1 liter bottom fed to encourage deep root growth and another 1 liter from the top. Threw some promix on top to cover up roots. I also finished up the light defoliation and pruning to improve airflow and light penetration. The scrog is now set, and if they respond well, I’m planning to flip to flower this Monday.
This morning, the pots felt light, so I decided to feed them with a little over a gallon of water. I used a liter of plain water and 2 liters of feed water. I also pulled out a dead top that was a casualty of war. Everything else appears to be in good condition. I’m sexting the pineapple chunks and sour cream x cookies as well as stress testing the sour cream x cookies in the 2-gallon container, unless they turn out to be males.

Turned light intensity to 80% Watered each plant with about a gallon of water except for the couple that was still wet. Will do a light foliage spray of calmag at lights off. Did some more spreading and weaving on the scrog. The two sour cream x cookies dried till wilted and watered with cold water at 60°. Clones are healthy not rooted yet.
Did some root pruning and lifted the statue a bit on the cannabonsai. Did some bending twisting and taping to start creating the shapes might start stuffing crystals in the twists but I’m flowering her now. After all stress and manipulation Blucifer went through she didn’t even stress one bit💪
Watered each girl with about a gallon of feed water. Raised light to 24” still at 80%. The 3 plants I sexted turned out to be males so will be collecting pollen and doing a Direct pollination on the lower branches.
Fed each girl a gallon of molasses water and turned light up to 100%. Dropped temps down to 75°-77° Will be defoliating Sunday or Monday. On the next run or whenever I throw the other pheno of kush mints and 2 other phenos of vortex f2 in the tent I’ll pollinate those as well. Years of hunting, documenting and stress testing awaits me. The buzzards cookie males (Sour cream x cookies) are about a week away and pineapple chunks is about 2 weeks

Why do the strains say fields for THC an terps?
Because they’re still in field trial. Once the seeds are made then I have years of hunting and testing then will make S1
