This is the pineapple express, the white widow and the Giggawatt. All have been topped dressed with biochar, worm castings, and all purpose 444 and bloom 264 of the Gaia Green.
Push down the tallest colas coming up through the trellis for the pineapple express just to make sure the canopy stays even and clean encountered about 24 bud sites. Removed any lower leaves on all the plants to help push energy to the top nodes. these three will be getting the bloom side of their nutrients for the next two weeks and then begin flushing, depending on where the plants are at.
That seems a good deal premature I don't even see developed buds or budlets even your like early early flower from what I see, flushing this early your really doing yourself a great disservice
If you zoom in you, see there are Pistol hairs popping out and from my last eight grows this is around the time that I switched to flower with the auto flowers because they have their own internal clock. Please also know I stated that I would not be flushing for a couple more weeks anyways depending on each plant’s growth as they start to bud up. I usually flush the last two weeks before harvest.
Bloom nutes absolutely but flush not until last 2 weeks if you go by bro science or 72hrs if you realize that nutrients and salts are not stored in the buds so flushing is not really needed like that
I believe flushing is to fix nutrient imbalance, toxicities, ect. I feed all the way through even if its just a little. The "fade" is probably due to the soil still containing nutrients, which is being used by the plant when flushed. In turn, the ec will be lower which is what you want. You both got the right idea 👌🏿
Pistils showing means preflower right?
If they are just starting yes but once they are shooting in all directions and start to form calyxes underneath then it's budlets as far as I'm aware.. could be off a little but that is my understanding, and fair enough I didn't think of flushing to prevent lockout I thought you were talking about the infamous final flush already.
Yes, I agree. You're right. I was adding my 2 cents with good intentions of learning. As far as I'm aware, the final flush at 2 weeks just starves the plant. Especially in hydroponic. 2 weeks of just water sounds scary 😳 haha
Yeah it seems very counterintuitive to everything we spend months doing to deprive her in the home stretch... Sure were pushing environmental cues to let her know she's dying and forcing her to do all she can to protect what isn't there (she doesn't know she didn't make seeds) so she's put all this effort to maximize her defenses (resins and THC ECT) and we're gonna starve her and degrade those defenses over some crazy idea that became just what you do.. I say no 72hrs sure 24hrs dark before chop sure why not any more your hurting your final product imo it all comes down to dry and cure that's where you ditch the harsh smoke and increase taste and potency
Yep since these are autos it’s basically the tell tell sign that it is going into or is now in flower 🌺
Damn! Now I'm gonna have to get one of those vivosun cameras for my tent! Very cool bro.
Thnx I just gotta figure out what time interval works best for the time lapse. But you’re gonna need one of those microSD cards that you can get off of Amazon mad cheap. If you don’t go directly to VIVOSUN they also have a store on Amazon too
Bet. Thanks for the info.
