I did a FIM once and then again I think. I even lost a branch to training. I snapped it and taped it up but it withered and died.

I have no idea what I am doing! haha I also defoliated a bit.
looks good π
That's a great start. Just keep weaving them under the next. you want a nice even canopy.
They just hit one week of flower. I donβt know much about this strain. the breeders card that came with it says 77+ days. Do you think they will stretch more?
77 days...dammmm. there gonna stretch..what nates you running g
GH trio
nice and cheap ...the only thing with gh the flavor not as great..I would get a sweetener towards the end to give it a better taste..flush it good to get your ec down.

what sweetener would you recommend?
flora nectar if your running gh.
cool Iβll look into it. Thanks

I took advantage of the sale and got some UVA light bars to try. I have them temporarily mounted but I need to get a better solution. My main light is aluminum so they wont stick. I have some secondary tent bars that I need to put in. I will mount them to that.
I've seen a few grows that they are attaching these lights to their tent walls instead of the poles. 3m makes a good double side tape.
these come with metal bars and then the lights have strong magnets built in so I could put the metal on the outside of the tent and have the light stick on the inside. There is not a lot of information on people using these yet. I will try a few things over a few cycles and see what works best.
hell yeah, good luck!
here's what you do... take two of the magnetic brackets and rest them perpendicular on top of your light bars. Space them apart so that the end of each bracket mount aligns to the end of a single light bar. I wish I could show a photo... but basically you create a square using 2 brackets and 2 lights... make 2 of them and rest it on top so that you center the lights in between your grow lights. Hope this makes sense. If not say something and I'll post a pic in one of my journals.
Strong is a strong word for using the outside of the tent with the included brackets on the outside. all it takes is a bump and they'll fail. As another person pointed out... your tent support bars are a much better option and then go the extra mile and use the included velcro straps to secure the top and bottom wires to the poles as a safeguard.
I did what you said. they are on the inside of the two center bars. I was hoping to get the tword the edge. I am thinking of grabbing some metal straps (like for Construction) and moving them farther from the center. for now this works. thanks!
good call

given nutrition and stash blend. defoliation and some tucking. this is start of week 3.
looking good. your week three is way more advanced than my week 3. what size clones did you use ? I was wondering when to start trimming back the undergrowth

I started from seed. they where in vege for 6 weeks. I stunted their growth with ph issues and too much training early on. they are in week three of flower.
fair enough. when did you start shaping?
I started LST on week 3 from them breaking ground. I think I topped when they had 4 nodes. I am definitely waiting longer next go. they are way to short. super hard to work under them. I was worried about running out of room in the tent.
ok. cool. I started tipping really early. but if mine are week 3 or 4 in seed stage then I imagine they need to go to week 8 maybe before flipping....very small.
I had no patient I wanted them to move farther faster and it never happened. next run Iβm goin to fill up the tent more. Iβve learned a lot on this run and the biggest thing is let them do what the do. and dont over water.

Aranged branches in trellis. snapped on in half. it still had some strings holding it. I taped and splint it. we will see if it doesnβt die. it was one of the mains so it will suck if it doesnβt heal. I also repositioned the trellis a little. I also put the shorter plant on a stand so itβs canopy is the same height as the other.

I moved my UV bars to a configuration suggested by Stash_N_Smash. I am going to live it like this for a while but I am going to look at the hardware store for some flat metal so I can move them farther from the center.
Thank you for the help grow buddy
IMO, that's the best way with what they include. Note that there is 2 mounting holes on the brackets... so you can find material to bridge them with for ideal spacing as well. With my setup, I just lucked out and they're damn near evenly spaced for even coverage.
this will work for this run. if I feel the rays arenβt spreading enough I can rig something.

look killer π₯
