soil: was going for a sterilised or pasturised mix of ~50% coco coir, 30% peat moss and 20% perlite (or 25-25%).
problem is coir had mh of 5.7, perlite duh, PEAT MOSS PH OF 3.5. calculated the ph of the emerging solution, tested it, far too low, started putting it into equations to find a suitable alkaloid "thing" to get ph right, remembered i was a physicist not a chemist i don't know shit about that so finally gave up and bought 50l of bioblizz for cannabis (some nutrients in), added maybe 5-15% perlite to make it lighter and obviously drilled bunch of holes at the bottom and covered it in a layer of (thats probably a wrong translation) "plant drainage gravel"
think i saw the first tîy few trichomes with a lense, they definitely will be entering proper flowering stage in coming days.
FYI I am using some clips to bend the branches (never grew and started LST a bit late) but wtf is happening?! this isn't a plant it's like the densest bush (2 big ones) I've seen, especially on the left. well I guess it's a good thing right?.
think is so thick I actually setup 3x12w smaller led panels on 3 walls just to get light around it, good idea? and added a couple of led ub ir bulbs, a 25w FS, temp went from 25 to just under 30 (well well above 80f, closer to 90 probably) despite the vents and fan so I hooked up my extractor setup and it's a bit high but not too much.
btw those 3 other pots in the backround are actually 4, they didn't fit all 6 in the 80x80 tent. maybe went a bit overboard on my first grow planted 2 seeds 3 others 2 weeks in and 2 others a week or so after that, mostly nice pink rutz but the 2 in a single pot are the shit seeds they send as gift, basic auto whatever 13%thc if they produce something cool if not 🥱 who cares.
I do have additional equipment not like I m trying to stuff 6 14l pots into that tent, I gave in and basically bought another near identical full setup all the equipment and shit just using the pretty powerful lighting and already constructed setup for now to save money until they need a 2nd tent running 18+h/day
yeah pretty happy just got some brown spots on some leaves, both pots so a setup issue as they are in the same medium, pH over 7 prob nutrient locked so trying to get it closet to 6 and starting to give them (little bit don't want them to go into shock as soon as the ph allows them to absorb accumulated stuff) a little vegetative fertilizer and more importantly a ph down solution.
thing is they are, despite my best efforts and I m new to growing weed but not plants so bit strange, put thick layer of gravel many many drain holes, used light biobizz mix I added a good 15 additional % of perlite to so that should be well drained.
guess i have to wait for it to dry before solving the ph problem completely, don't want root rot
ok i'm new here still figuring out the app let alone the growing part, so just want to point out this is my first post but i don't see how to indicate this (obviously) isn't day 1. week 3

thanks. how long, or how "high" (the plant, i believe they can get to 80-90 and i think 100-120cm tall indoors) until odor starts. lets take a 10 week cycle. seedling germination for maybe a bit under 2 weeks, begetative growth, and flowering. now i ve had a hard time finding non super general or super specific info about it, so vaguely, how would you split that calendar "odor wise" obviously no smell week 1 and 2 and even 3 and 4 as the plant is still small and has no buds. but how long does the flowering stage last, does it overlapp with vegetative growth, and does it gove out noticible smell like as soon as a bud appears? obviously less powerful but i mean to ask like for 10 weeks, how many weeks do you have to have the extractor filter system running line from start of strong odor to harvest, how long could thay take, generally? tanks :)
For now, the best way is to go to the first date you think you started and it will calculate from that post
