Grow #2 Thank You to All that helped guide me, offered advice, gave insight, or complimented progress. Now to apply some of what I learned the first go-round.

It was my very first grow.. I had 2 plants and got 3/4 oz off one and little over Oz from the other. I didn't really know what I was doin.. started nutrients late, didn't stress train ..prolly wld have gotten better yield. it's one of my favorite strains also. got Hindu kush and runtz going now. just transplanted and the Hindu kush hasn't grown. hasn't died..it been bout a week and runts has been growin..
nice! there's a definite learning curve growing but I love it so far. I have kinda messed up about every step of the way so far, I havent quite figured out what im doing, lol but I know a few things not to do this time around. Hopefully you have a much more bountiful harvest this grow.
The half a cup is just for scale right? it's not always there?
it is helping block a fan that is too strong for her yet. it was a quick fix to get her out of direct wind force. I moved some things around and got rid of it, she isn't so close anymore :)
Ah gotcha. Makes sense.
Performed actiontype.feeding
Got any cool gadgets Gage? Looking for new shit to buy that would help my grow.
Mine is a pretty basic setup. The only thing id say is I got an automatic drip system that I added an air pump to with an air stone in the tank to keep it oxygenated. Its pretty handy for keeping nutes mixed while feeding. Otherwise all basic and old school for me. Still learning the ins and outs, but had to find an easier way than manual watering every time lol.

Did you top ur auto ur lst
I've topped 1 auto ever and i still have a lot to learn; not sure if it was the stress from topping or my lack of skill at the time but it didn't turn out very good. It was a very small plant. Being Auto it didnt have time to recover, it was just lost time. It was the first time ive ever topped so maybe with more skill and experience it would work better, but not something ill ever do to an auto again personally.
When I grow out side with them we just let them rock out but it's colder this year and my partner is out of town so I am doing it inside this year and I wanted to try out some new things
Topping isn't something I'd recommend on an auto, i defoliate mine 2 times, other than that, I let her do what she wants
How long did you leave the dome on ur
I keep the dome on for 48 hours after they break the surface. I kinda feel like I pull it off too soon, but ive had good results so I havent tried anything different
Are you using the same light for the whole grow
I have a viparspectra p2000 for veg, for flower is a viparspectra p2000 and 600 w hps, 2 tents
Nice
Definitely keeps me busy. But it's the greatest thing I can imagine spending time on
I know that coco coil by itself requires Hella watering so hope youre using an autopot system or something similar lol id like to try it someday as well when I get some kind of auto watering system
tbr I use Coco in 3-5 gallon fabrics and I top feed, during veg I can get Abt a watering and a half a week but in flower i am watering every other day its definitely do able but yea you end up watering A LOT in flower
I have an auto drip system on order, the seed broke surface faster than I was expecting, not a bad thing, but I figured my drip system would be here by the time it sprouted. ill top water by hand for a day or 2 until it arrives tho. I've heard it can need watered multiple times per day late in the flower stage so looking forward to automating that
If I may jump in, I have been growing coco for years now, you donβt need to water or feed every day. so drip lines are not necessary. I water in veg around 1000-2000ml once every couple of days. feed one a week usually. If I water more they donβt like it. when they are seedlings I let them completely dry out then water.
I also recommend using some compost or worm castings for microbes otherwise your buds wonβt have much smell or flavor.
now just let it be moist but not wet ya dig ? let it dry but not all the way keep moist every other day every day a liter or 2 to 3 depending on size of potter.
