after cutting back on watering and making sure to put her in the shade when it's too hot she beginning to show her truth leaves
definitely good idea to shade seedlings & only water around base few times a day . nice start !!
don’t water the entire pot there is no feeding roots yet , only water base , u can use a mister & don’t get on the plant or it can get fried in sun
thank you I was over doing it
right I just have to take my time with it
over watering will cause stunted growth. best thing to do is keep it simple. so much info out there when I started we had nothing . I learned from my great uncle in 70’s &80’ . then came Jorge Cervantes book
anytime, I’m here or anyone here will help out
I put a post up a few days ago on how to protect yourself from over watering. see if u can find it . good trick I learned along time ago. use milk carton . cut top off & cut the bottom off about 1/4 off bottom. use the middle as a sleeve . put it over the plant lightly into the soil . only water inside the cut carton . when it grows a little bigger u can remove it
yesterday she was looking fine when I checked on her this Morning I see this dark spot on the bottom of her leaf I check her and didn't see any pest
Hmmm, its as though the plant is disregarding healing the leaf. I think it may be due to the plant focusing on root growth instead vegetative growth.
check the new post let me know what you think
she a little droopy and idk if I'm doing the lst right
Autoflowers are kinda hard to get right. They are very picky and if they do not like their environment, they are gonna stunt.
she doing better since yesterday I over water her a little when I check on her this moring she looked better
she growing so fast I didn't know she drink this much water
drinking a lot so she can pack on the bud weight !! u using any drip irrigation or just manually watering?
manually watering her
that’s my preferred method . more hands on & allows u to see plant daily before anything goes wrong . I have tried the AC/Infinity self watering wick system past winter & didn’t like how bottom half was saturated & still had to top water. I even took out a wick & just used 1 & it still was saturated
I'm nervous to water her sometimes idk if I'm giving her too much or too little but next year I might go her and do it indoor and have a better setup
I just finished a Barney’s Farm auto run on the wicking bases and still had to to water as needed added extra wicks on my current run
I always found that the bottom half was saturated & top was to dry . I have the ac infinity bases .
I have the Vivoson bases and they work good during veg but need a little extra during flowering
the bottom half doesn’t get saturated with the Vivosun?
I wouldn’t say saturated, but it stays moist at the bottom That’s where the roots are goin so I’m ok with it. The plant goes through a base full every other day until late flowering the it’s every day plus top watering. This is just in my case, can’t say it’s acrosss the board
u adding any nutrients to the water in the base . I will be using my bases once I go back to my tents in garage . I just outside for summer
I’m trying HSS nuts on this run. Added directly in the bases. Working OK so far
she not going as fast idk she in early flower
a little aggressive on the low stress training you don't want it so close to the ground to were the leaves can touch ,but ,don't water everyday, put yr finger in the soil about a half inch if it's moist don't water
thank you
no problem I hope it bounceback fast n fills up quickly best of luck to you !
Imma do my best 💪🏿
u got this
just flush her yesterday she had a little salt build up and I spray to get rid of the pest
don't flush her til you bout to harvest to get rid of chemicals and stuff for a clean smoke your plant is just now flowering brother give it a bloom fertilizer for 2weeks and hit it fish fertilizer for feeding and after that do 1 bone meal fertilizer once but on your next feed fish fertilizer that's it brother until you're about to harvest flush it for a week just all water and your good 💯
thank you so much is the cronk Clyde Bloom and bud booster ok to use?
she 75 days old
auto flower
outdoors
looks like you've got maybe another 3-6 weeks? trichomes still look young.
nope
you sure cause it's an autoflower and I think the life cycle is 85 days
im not positive, but so far from what ive learned it that you age them until the trichomes start to look like a milky yellow. your pistils will dry out and turn orange-ish and recede into the nugs. then you can look at them super zoomed in to make sure. ive heard you want 50-75% milky yellow trichomes when harvesting. measuring in weeks is an estimate.
ok thank you I forgot to mention she 75 days old
yeah no worries. looks like its doing great!
Btw great closeup pics.
id def wait till all are cloudy white great pic I've had autos go 93 days that were 70-85 and some mature at 65 poor genetics were the case dark white is what I try to patient myself to lol
thank you
thank you got it off the s24 ultra
thank you and gotcha
give her another 3 to 5 weeks and flush her with pure clean water for the last week and your golden 💯❤️💯
I normally plan for ~90 days on an autoflower. She's looking great man. The hardest part during this phase is patience 😉
your right about that
we just had a Heat Wave and my tent stressed tf out my babies.... i understand
put a milk container on top to defuse the hot sun keeps it humid as well.
Don't add any nutrients at this point they don't need it till they get to veg stage, fans in the grow tent will help, just use a spray bottle to water around the plant they don't alot of water at this just spray around the seedlings a couple times a day. move your light up higher if possible and if you have a dimmer that might help also, hope that helps a little.
thank you I put something over it to minimize sun exposure
I just made a tent for it hopefully it work
I'm growing it outside
my bad, that's a little different lol, it's going to need more water outside of course especially in high heat, if it's in a pot try to give it some shade if you can. I use to grow outside but I found it to difficult so I started growing indoors where I had more control.
thank you I started today so I'll see how it goes
thank you I started today so I'll see how it goes
Ouch that’s tuff. I agree with Grape no nutrients for the first two weeks of Seedling. They have all they need in the Fresh soil. When they get their first fan leaves give em nutrients with every-other watering.
For my grow, I water in between long periods of time. I also water around the seedling, so that the roots are forced to explore for water. As for nutrients grow, I do not give my plants nutrients until the first true leaves and cotyldon leaves have died. These leaves create energy to provide growth to the tap root. Once you see these die off, the plant will be looking for food through its roots. This is when I feed and for the first feeding, only 50% of the nute should be used to see how the plant likes it or not. If your plant does not like the food, do not continue to give it that food. Lastly, if you are outside, then you are most likely giving her water from a garden hose. If this is true, you should look up your local municipality’s water source to check if it is treated with chlorine or chloramine. You should also check the pH of the water, cannabis grows best in 5.5-6.5 but regardless, it requires a stable environment. So fluxuations in pH is detrimental to your plant as it effects nutrient upkeep. As in extra, since you’re in soil, look up living soil and soil microbial life.
