watered for flush.
-added only cal mag and mycorhriae
just water no cal mag pure distilled or RO water 💦 after flush as some nutes
I’ve heard that since calcium and magnesium are macronutrients that they don’t build up as salts and the plants still need them. This watering is to flush and prevent any salt build ups as I modify my nutrient inputs as the plants transition to flower. mychorhizae for root support and flower growth and to increase nutrient uptake in flower transition as well
fed and watered
-silica, cal mag, flower nutes week 9,
added ac infinity 8plug ai controller
-moderate defoliation done
- light lowered a few clicks
Looks great man!
thanks! I’m really worried about humidity as I get later into flower
You're using the space well. Keep up your defoliation and if you need to, drop 20 on a cheap humidifier and run it in the lung room. You got this 💪
I did that and it wasn’t enough. I just installed a much bigger one in the tent today
that gonna fill up nice 💯💯💯
water 6.5ph, silica, cal mag, week 10 nutrients
-king tut looking droopy due to thirst. last time I watered I ran out and gave it less because it had been seeming to consume less water than the other two. should perk up
- look for gg plant in front to be thirstiest next watering due to running out of water
need to make 5 gal of water next time
-
-King Tut bounced back happier than ever
-King Tut starting to get dark. Hopefully senescence and not N toxicity
- last final big defoliation happening on Saturday
- temps lowered a bit. Humidity targeting 45-50%
made 6 gal with silica, cal mag, week 10 nutes. i know its going into week 6 but i feel like I might be starting to get a nutrient issue. The spots on the leaves of the King Tut plant aren’t looking great and the tips of a few of the leaves burnt back a bit after getting a touch too dry. I Think I’ll flush it next time
finally figured out that the fungus gnats were causing the leaf issues. treated with mosquito bits, yellow stickys, and diatomaceous Earth. Fuck these bugs, I’m not letting them ruin my harvest.
watered, silica, cal mag, week 10 nutes
looks awesome man
I had the same issue last run. I ended up having to use SF beneficial Nema to resolve it.
yeah that’s my next plan if this doesn’t work out. I’m so close to harvest that I’m not sure how much good it’ll do
be careful brotha the infestation in my garden reversed my girl and pollinated all 6 of my flowering girls.
now I’m resetting my entire basement and lung room and flowering room. Taking every thing apart and cleaning the best I can.
good luck! I think mine are going to be fine, just going to end up with slightly less dense buds on the Tut plant I think
I’m getting very close to harvest.
Watered today with 6.56ph water and mosquito bits treatment. I saw two live adult gnats still in the tent. I think the problem is mostly taken care of and my plants are just going to want an extra week or two to finish bouncing back and maturing. Some of the buds on the Tut plant are getting too heavy and wanting to fall down under the canopy
Today was perhaps the final watering. The plants all look very happy and are getting fat. I had to hurry with watering today but I didn’t see a single gnat.
- clean 6.5 ph water only
I’m considering trying what I heard Dr. Bugbee speak about once and trying to drop temps and run 48hrs of light for the last two day to try to get a last boost of trichomes. Not sure yet.
thats completely right😊
I think I’m gonna chop tomorrow at day 60. That is the recommendation from Royal Queen seeds who originally created the Green Gelato strain. King Tut got hurt by the gnats and doesn’t seem like it’s gonna have a lot of terps but we will see.
I have some auto sweet skunk from them wondering if it worth the time lmk what you think when done.
Looks good to me. Congrats on bringing her to the finish line 👏
The Green Gelato plants were incredibly robust. Overall, very healthy and hungry throughout the grow. Early on they got hungry and needed an increase in nutrients but once I got that dialed then they took off. They seemed to be pretty stress and pest resistant. They also produced many huge, dense colas. The Breeder website says that it should be around 25% THC as well so they should be rather potent. I’d say go for it, but of course those genetics/phenotypes you get might still be completely different than what I was able to grow
Thanks!!! Glad I waited an extra week
I decided to wait a few more days. I feel like I’m still seeing some clear trichomes and I truly want to harvest this thing at its maximum potential. I think the plants are showing all of the signs of being ready and I could harvest now but I think a few more days will do them good
They look great, but I agree. Give them a few more days
my next possible day to harvest is Wednesday. Shoot I may even push for the weekend if I don’t see a lot of trichome changes
Decided that today was Chop day. I have no idea about yield but I am happy with it. Everything smells amazing and there has been a lot of finger hash.
Cheers and Happy growing Growmies!
Congrats on getting them over the finish line 👏
here’s quick final post to show final weight. Almost everything was trimmed down and put into Grove bags with a 62% humidity packet to cure. I’m thinking this will make a nice Christmas present to myself to pop one of these babies open. About a half to three quarters of one of the Green gelato plants was put into a large one pound grove bag with only the branches clipped and not trimmed at all. I also have a hygrometer in there to monitor its humidity but I am interested to see how that plant will cure differently compared to the rest that I meticulously trimmed.
hey I was reading you don’t need humidity packs in the grove bags. they regulate themselves.
congrats 👍
topped all three today
nice! are you taking any clones?
I don’t think so. I can’t keep them over the winter due to the cold
