Welcome to the community. The app is useful in many ways for sure and everyone I've spoken to on here has been great and given good advice. This is my first time doing a legal home grow as well it definitely is a change lol I'm still careful because we have a 17 year old and I'm sure if CPS wanted to be dicks they could. I just keep everything locked up. Once shes an adult she'll realize just how awesome her stepdad actually is 😂 I mean really I wish had a parent like me as a young adult growing up. Stoner parents for the win.

I was along time guerilla grower . number 1 rule is not to tell anyone about ur grow . when I got busted 20 years ago it was a huge surprise to everyone. thanks for welcoming me . I am new to this & definitely not a tech guy but figuring it out . best of luck with ur grow

Haha same luckily I never got busted. Had a super close call once when I grew with my buddy and his father (RIP poppa Burgess) I had harvested my couple of plants that I had in their indoor grow and not even a week later they got raided. All because they lived in a 2 family house and the seeds they ordered got put in the neighbors mailbox who ended up informing on them. I felt so bad, my babies made it and all theirs got killed plus they both ended up on probation. Most my other grows were hidden in apartments I rented and paid ahead of time for a whole years rent and told the landlords not to bother me lol

I'll be upgrading to the pro version soon just so I can post more photos and keep better track of concurrent grows. Trying to get a good perpetual harvest cycle setup this year. Both perpetual auto and photos lol it's gonna be tricky. I've been using this app for a month now and love sharing updates and seeing others posting their updates. There's a small circle of like 10 or 15 of us that seem to follow each others grows and comment on them consistently and every one of them has good experience

I’m in a legal state now , why I gotten back into it . more of a hobby now . I trying out a small breeding project in solo cups in a small propagation tent . see how it works out .

You should add some reaction type emojis to the posting section so we can react to each other's posts with em lol kinda like a FB "like" bar that pops up with different emoji/feeling options I'm an ex web developer/programmer/designer turned ganja enthusiast lol My skills are rusty but I always have ideas for apps or how to make them better based on all the PHP and MySQL web based games I've made over the years (so most of what I throw out there isn't BS I'm aware of what programming limitations can be lol)

oh I totally get it I don't miss the debugging days sorting through thousands of lines of code. The dreaded "Error on line 1853" meaning it's anywhere in between line 1 and line 1853 lmao so many teenage years wasted debugging my shoddy PHP and database work

what kind of pests u dealing with ? I’m in soil & fungus gnats are an issue , why I have so many yellow sticky traps . I add mosquito bits to my water. helps . I’ll be going back to coco .

everyone on this app has a lot of respect for one another, I tried some other grow apps where there were too many negative & rude comments. let’s keep it that way especially when new people start discovering how good this app is . positivity is key to a healthy grow 👍

I don't smoke and give most of what I grow away, everyone thinks I just know someone. community here is great. everyone is helpful and non toxic. it's nice. need anything just let me know!

I had a similar experience with msnl seeds. this is 1 of 10 kushberry moonrocks seeds and the only 1 thats made it. 6 didnt even sprout under great conditions, 3 didnt germinate and this 1. also had some gorilla cookies but haven't tried them yet. won't be using msnl ever again.

contact the company & get money or new seeds . stick with seedsman or direct breeders . don’t buy any white label seeds . stay away from ILGM seed bank . they slap any strain stickers on seed packs might not be the real strain

my brother used to grow and he also told me to stay away from ilgm. I want to try seedsman on the next grow. so far have only attempted autos and the next one I think I want a photoperiod one

I would start out with photos. for some reason everyone starting out think autos are better & not true . with photos u learn a lot more . u can top & do high stress training. seedsman has different breeders & only have reputable breeders

make sure u use the coupon code . should be on this app advertisement at the top

ive heard autos were easier to start, which is not true I've learned and if/when things go wrong, as a newbie, there isn't enough time to figure out what and how to fix it. autos it's a race and makes it tricky

this is true . start with photos & learn how to train em & if u make mistakes u have time to fix em . people think autos easy cause u don’t need to time the lighting

u welcome. this is great app with lots of great growers willing to help out with any questions. I been on here from the beginning & it’s one of the better grow apps . I haven’t come across any trolls who trash on other people grows . any questions feel free to ask . when u go on a seed bank they generally will have beginner grower strains to look through

it has been a phenomenal app! I tried several as a beginner trying to get as much info and direction and none have been very useful. I looked at the beginner seeds and didnt really pay attention to it the first time, didn't know it really mattered, ignorance got me there.

1st u need to like a strain or doesn’t make much sense to grow it if u wont like it . they do have a lot of varieties for beginners & also climate & indoor or outdoor makes matters when u planning a grow . dont want to grow a strain that better for outdoor environments & grow indoors . research before u decide & use Seedsman. there should be a discount code at the top of this APP

I reached out to msnl about the seeds that didnt germinate... Holy crap thank you for that advice! im getting all of them replaced! my favorite strain ever is chemdog, I have 1 seed of it, but I dont want to start it until I know what im doing so I dont screw it up. its a photoperiod seed so it'll be different from the autos im trying, but want a successful cycle under my belt before I attempt my only chemdog seed. looking into beginner seeds I have found several I want to try eventually. I truly thank you for sharing your knowledge and a bit of guidance you've given!!

I’m so glad u reached out to them & they did the right thing by replacing them .chemdawg can be a really difficult strain to grow . I rank it up there with sour diesel as difficult levels go . u need to watch out for powdery mildew & bud rot . make sure the environment is dialed in.I live in north east & humidity is low in winter that’s when I would grow the chemdawg & also make sure to have airflow throughout canopy . any questions hit me up . I’ll be on here more often when I switch to indoor grow & not so busy now that summer is over .

how do u germinate your seeds ? I know some of these seed banks will only replace seeds if u germinate it with paper towel method. I like to go direct to soil with my seeds . if you get seeds that don’t germinate, just make sure what there policy is this way u can tell them that how u tried to germinate. I know some banks want proof which is bullshit . Autos are better off germinating in final pot . u can always scoop out the middle of soil & put a seed starting soil in middle & plant seed into that starter soil & plant will grow into the pot & u wont risk burning the seed with high levels of nutrients

ive heard chemdawg is not the easiest and I dont want to ruin it. im in the middle of pretty much everywhere so my climate is a little of everything depending on the time of day lol. my environment is definitely not dialed in yet, I didnt know a humidifier and dehumidifier were as important as they are, so I dont have either yet. humidity is trickier than I expected. I started this whole thing thinking it would complex and it is and more than I ever imagined. I have a tent, a 600w hps, 2x 250w led (dont run the hps and leds at same time), and some fans pretty much. I have some work to do to my environment before im ready for chemdawg.

I planted straight in pot. read that autos its a good idea so dont have to transplant and slow it down. for soil I used fox farm ocean forest on the bottom and sides, in the middle used fox farm happy frog

final container is the better way to go with autos . did u get the replacement seeds yet ?

there are tricks u can do to raise humidity without the machine. try bucket of water with t shirt rolled up & into the water . be like a wicking system. I not sure how much it works & I guess it depend on amount of water u using
