Grow Timeline (16 updates)

I have put them in my coco perlite.
I dont prepare the seeds in any way before planting them, just from the bag to the dirt directly.
I have found it to be the most successfull way for me.
I just gave them a bit of water and will do every day untill they sprout.
Havent updated in a while.
Ive fed them now when im starting to see some def on the leaves using Canna nutes for coco.
I mixed 19ml of canna coco A&B, 20ml of Rhizotonic and 25ml of Cannazym in a 10L bucket and adjusted the pH to 6.0.
Ive also done some training using Budtrainers one the Gorilla Zkittlez and unfortunatly the younger RS11's branches are too hard for my liking and wasnt going to risk em snapping on me so i just stuck with the old garden twines. She (RS11) aint really gaining much height so the branches just grow thicker but ill hope i can use my Budtrainers lateron on her to spread out the branches more.
Second time topping her so im expecting 8 tops each.
I did some pruning also, removed leaves that was blocking light to some side branches and some leaves that were going to block light in the days coming.
It might be more than some like to trim but it works for me. Maybe not most efficent but ohwell.
Tried to use some Budtrainers on the smaller RS #11 but ber branches are still a little too short. In a few days shell be redy for those.
[Gorilla Zkittlez]
Could be magnesium def but im not sure.
Or because i didnt check the pH when i watered them 2 days ago. I was too tired and they needed water asap so i just eyebaled it and went to sleep.
Anyways, i gave her 3ml of Calmag from Biobizz and im sure she'll be fine.
[RS #11]
I had to remove quite a few leaves from the smaller RS11. She have so many sidebranches and i know she'll be a pain for me in the near future.
those spots on your leaves is from ph fluctuations, cal mag isnβt the primary cause. your ph is too low causing your plant to stop absorbing nitrogen. If you canβt ph your water donβt feed them. that little bit of extra time will save you time exponentially.
Alr, thanks then i know for sure π
It has very soon been 2 weeks since i flipped and so i decided they needed a little "haircut". The first two pictures is before and after pruning.
A little question for anyone reding this.
Can i start training them now or should i wait a little longer?
Im thinking of using BudTrainers.
They have neither improved or gotten worse since last time i posted so i figured id feed her because they look a little hungry to me.
when I use canna nutrients, I mix 20-25 ml for 4 gallons and still I tend to over feed. just my experience with canna line.
Yes, all my nutes is in a 1000ml/10L bucket
check ec, best way to tell, runoff ec, will let you know if hungry or lock up. use about 10-20% runoff of in coco.
use that trellis to open up the canopy for more bud sites less stress than bending.
what temp arw you add your nutrients at? is it 27.7?
I'll do so on my next watering and water a little sooner than usual. Perhaps in 2 days.

Yes, 27.7Β°c or 81f. So its fingerwarm water. Should it be colder?
Will do π
oh yes, needs to be 20c think of rain water, cooler water, some use at the end of flower ice water to bring out color
Yeah, ive heard that about bringing out color with ice water and my own conclusion is that its just "bro sience". However it sounds logical to have it a bit cooler like you say with rainwater being cooler π
I havenβt used ice water, never needed too. I live in a cold climate and use low temperatures to fade
I also live in a colder climate but somehow my tent is still "hot" or perhaps "warmer" is the right word. Wish i had space and the capital for an AC.
I hear you, takes time and money to get the right setup. try using lights at night so you can use cooler air to cool the tent. I use in summer when itβs too hot.
You recon i can flip the light cycle right now and it wont effect her? Now its lights on from 08:30-20:30 and i bet light on from 20:30-08:30 would be perfect.
I think you should run it out, light change at week 2 wonβt be good for it, may herm. If it was week 1 you could but it is to late. you could chance it if it is too hot, that wonβt be good either. you would have to go 24 hours to switch. I had to veg a 9 week plant then put back into flower with nothing happening. π³
I start the trainers in veg towards the end 2 weeks before I flip . I top plants then I use the trainerβs to spread the top open 90degree. I lollipop the bottom get rid of all the larf buds . strat using them now . u can also use tie downs
definitely yes
not freezing water & ice water flush is only for last 7-10 days . are u flushing in early flower ? be careful u will need to add nutrients slowly . I wouldnβt be flushing twice worry bout the PH going in for now & see if it corrects itself
Somehow there is still alot of nutes left in the coco. But maybe youre right, shes looking better now so why not wait a bit and see.

πjust have to read the plant . she will tell u what she needs . watch out for nutrients that are high in phosphorus & potassium. there a lot in coco . better off using nutrient specific to coco . a lot safer . coco also needs additional cal-mag
Thats easier said than done. I know you have to use nutrients specificly made for coco and have allways done so.
I decided to flush them once again after ive been recommended so.
The EC is not quite where i want it so i'll have to flush them once again.
Will most likely do that the next time they need to be watered.
And i have bent a few branches under the net to spread em out a little more, giving more light to budsites further down the plant that was blocked.
I only have a 60x60 scrog net in my 70x70 tent so i used some garden twine and a little rope on 3 branches to spread them out.
looking much better π€
Thanks, you sure can see the leaves looks a bit healthier :)
Thanks, you sure can see the leaves looks a bit healthier :)
Any tips or recommendations on the techniques used to get that multi cola canopy? They look amazing, makes me want a tent sooo bad!!!
Topping 3times and LST. I have a previous grow i grew in a closet where i only topped once and used LST, you can check that out i even got pics there on how i did the training :)
As yall can see, and im almost 100% sure these girls are hungry, so i gave them some nutes in todays watering.
The buds are growing nice and the beutiful smell is starting to come in. What a wounderful day.
Hopefully theyll start looking a bit healthier in the coming 1-2 weeks.
Happy growing everyone ;)
I gave them 3L each of cool water.
I also tried to open up the canopy a little on the RS #11 (right one) to give it some better airflow to the middle and bent some branches to give better light penetration to lower budsites.
I could have done a better job but with the trellisnet there its such a pain to reach around.
Thanks to you guys their leaves are finally looking green again. I didnt think they would change back and stay yellow, but i was wrong.
Their buds are very dens and looking good.
Gave them 10L (~5L each) and had little over 3L of runoff.
I know i could go a little longer for more amber trichomes BUT remember one of em is a zkittlez so ill go with this. The trichomes are still mostly cloudy.
Any tips on how i could harvest? I was thinking of putting her in the dark now and let her dry w/o cutting the stem. It would be easier when im usin a trellisnet but i havent done it this way before.
3 first pics are of the G.Zkittlez and the 3 last pics is the RS11
yes sir , frosty ! harvest time !! you going to dry or wet trim ?
Im still thinking about it but maybe just trim the fan leaves wet and then the rest when dry. i did wet trim last run and man it took hours and hours to finish it.
I take out all the fan leaves of course but I leave all the sugar leaves on the actual buds because the smell is incredible and when drying was done the flavor was double what it was when I went trimmed . however the humidifier in the room to keep it a cool 60/60 and it was night and day . I dried some just in the room as it was and a fan lol. I definitely FAFOed lol
so you leave the small sugarleaves on the buds? My last trim i took off all the sugar leaves and later saw most actually left the ones i removed, maybe also why it took me over 8 hours over the spand of 2 days to trim 180g π
The weather is real good atm and has been for awhile for drying. RH is at 55-60% 24/7 so wont be needing to use a dehumidifier π
nice work
ya just for the dry , it makes a difference . I've heard some say its the same either way when you dialed in right . but personally I like the flavor better and the smell is more pungent taste is fresh fresh too .
heck ya ! grow wins !!
nice work ! healthy
bud trimmer

looking good . is that the bud trainers ? how u liking them ? I using just the regular 90degree ones of amazon . working good . it helps save time from manipulating each branch
theyre actually pretty good. i kinda dont like the fact you cant change the angle on them, so some times, like on my RS11 the branches would snap if i used them. But beside that, def worth the time saved.
I having same issues with the benders Iβm using . I got a bunch of the 90degree benders & I trying out these clips that just bend branches slightly. I do prefer using the Kyle kushman chiropractor system . u probably familiar with him & his supercropping. it takes time but I like how u can manipulate the branches in directions u want them to go . looks good . π
Iβm a little late to the conversation but I got some adjustable ones off Amazon I like. I have also found that if you massage the stem between your thumb and finger where you want to use the clip it will loosen up that branch and prevent breaking one. https://a.co/d/4hHZnaW
Yeah ive heard about those adjustable ones but also heard they break more often. I always squeeze the branches so they loosen up, but on one of em they were just way too hard. Couldnt even bend them a few mm before i started to feel like they would snap.
