Grow Timeline (1 updates)
So, I have a batch of soil I have been gently curing since December. It is indeed some funky stuff. I used to use this before I started with coco and I had great results. This is a derivative of an older recipe. I make it in 12qt batches and this one got pushed to the side while I finished my past grow, and started my other grow here. It is meant to be concentrated to a ratio of 4:1 .
Long story short, I am going to stick #2 in some, and see what happens. I am only using about 25% hot soil, 60% coco/perlite I have left over, about 10% more perlite, and about 5% vermiculite. Why did I choose this stuff to stretch it out? Because that's what I have on hand. And it's a viable choice.. it sounds good on paper anyway.
I've never done this before and I usually test the soil over a month with radishes. So this could go really bad, really fast.
And... She is already in 12/12 . That ought to add a bit of stress to the mix.
But it should be entertaining!
