Grow Timeline (24 updates)
seeds popped tails and looking well developed. into bubble cloner now to start seedlings. After they get to 2 or 3 inches high will transplant into super soil mix and then Propogation tent till 2' high or other grow finishes. Will grab clones from ACE to start also.
2 of the 4 beans already hoping above top of bubble cloner. Man Clonex is the way to go
Holy hell! I went from ziplock and paper towels, to seedling π± in record time! I have true leaves and roots already starting. These pics were 71 hours after I added water to seed and today. I will update a new post today with that as well, but wanted to get these up.
Going Hydroponic right after Poping the Beans has really dramatically increased growth. Even the seedling stems look amazing. I should be transplanting to Super Soil in 2 maybe 3 days at this rate with great roots.
That's Brilliant!
seedling are now over 2", super strong stems, true leaves already, and roots for days. I'm headed to Lowes for some fertilizer because this is going so fast I won't have my normal time to get my soil ready lol. I figured I had a week or 2, not 3 days
After 13 days or so from seed, 3 sets of leaves, 3 1/2" tall, good roots (Thanks Clonex) and transplanted into my super soil mix. Now into propogation tent at 80% humidity to grow for 2 weeks, hardening off this week, mat at 72 degrees, nutrient rich water at bottom of 120 tray in the AC Infinity Humidity tray with S16 lights attached at 50% power, off at 1am and on at 5am. once hardened, I will add the fan into mix and let them grow till done with main grow in main tent 4 or 5 weeks (I messed up starting out with light at top and not enough light) but once I go to move to main tent, I will have cut off all the seedling and veg time to compete in main tent.
These are in my Propogation tent because I started them too soon. Im afraid if I don't start LST soon I will miss the opportunity due to my main tent is now in veg. What say you?
Its always better to train them early imo. If they're autos, start training yesterday. They look great tho
Everything is growing and growing. I have Pink, Brown and White culinary mushrooms growing above my girls at stage 1 lighting (S-16 Ion) and below the lighting is on stage 6 for my girls. Figured out i can take my extra UVA AC infinity lights (just bought them for the Led driver) and wire them into the lightsbat the bottom for the plants. Wonder what it would do at such a close proximity?
These plants are taking off. Between the soil mixture, RO water @6.1, doing a butt chug, no deficiencies in the leaves at all. I plan on 2 more toppings before I transplant into big tent. As a Bonus, we harvested Brown, white and Pink oyster Mushrooms. I have my propogation tent vented into my main tent to recycle the CO2 made my mushrooms, the humidity and heat. Keeps everything in balance. Lung room kept at 68 degrees on average, roots at 61F.
Im very curious about your lighting setup. Why green,
From what info I could get on the internet and Migro YouTube channel (hes a lighting manufacturer) for Autoflower or Flowering photoperiods it's supposed to not interfere with their photosynthesis when in a resting period. I will say having the Green light and a green headlight makes it pretty easy to spot deficiencies before they really even start to show up. The light never shows on my light meter in either tent so maybe it will help, not sure.
Thats really good to know! And what makes the deficiencies look different?
The areas that aren't as green show up in a different hue. When I was first starting this grow i didnt know you had to buffer coco and seriously set my plants back. When looking in the green light I could see how the leaves looked weird. A day or two later the leaves started to show how the calcium wasn't being uptook. Not sure if it's bunk science or not, but I figured what the heck. So far we both like we don't have to worry about messing up our girls when we work on them and it really is a good value. Wife says she's happy about us getting them so that's good I guess lol.
Decided due to my poor timing ( and i didnt realize either I would break a main branch and have to wait to veg outta the situation) I am about a week over when I anticipated being done with drying. So now I have topped i think 3 times and started training. My goal is to have a plant, trained, and in veg before I transplant out of my propogation tent and into my main tent. If the auto gets done fast enough GSC will replace her.
Training tonight was going great, till I looked at the camera in the Propogation tent. Frickin stem broke. So treated it with aloe, wrapped it tight in green gardeners tape (it stretches and grows with the plant) and supported it in the direction i wanted. Now I hope it survives. I will give it more Silia tomorrow when Amazon brings it. Hang on girl.
Weβre u able to tape it back together? I use tape & wrap it with that medical wrap that self sticks . Keep the cut area from getting wet . Can get diseases. Looking good π
Yep, no issues. I used green gardening tape that grows with the wound and supplemented silica into the grow stronger than normal. Seems to have worked great!
I use electric tape & I also use that wrap they use on the arms after giving blood .
I never thought of that . Im gonna keep that knowledge for when it's 2am and I mess up without garden tape. Thank you:-)
U got it , im always pocketing rolls of there tape when having blood drawn
Broke another stem and had to repair it, but got all 3 mainline with hst, topped several times, and such good genetics from Pacific these things keep exploding like crazy. This will be a good harvest when I move to the main tent and my Vivosun.
I have to say, one of my favorite YouTube channels got me wanting a propogation tent when I watched the unboxing. So I made sure to have one ready for when I set up my main tent. With using the smaller space, less resources, I will be able to turn around another set of girls by cutting off the veg time completely from seed, straight to flower. Best investment ever.
I will say the tent doesn't come with a controller, fan, nothing. Mine is using a 4" clouding fan on a AC Infinity AI Controlller, CO2 monitor and light meter, ducted to the main tent to share CO2 from mushrooms or whatnot. It really is a game changer especially for gardening. I will have everything started in record time for veg to flower when spring hits.
The energy savings alone from my main tent due to using 2 sets of S-16 lights vs that big Ionframe light is noticeable in both heat generation and temperature regulation.
In my tent before I had 2 sets of S16 AC Infinity lights for dual level control lighting. I left that but added the UVA boards in as well. Im trying out a Viperspectra XS1500 Pro in it to see what I could do for energy efficiency. Looks to be a good choice. I've hung at 8", letting AI control brightness to 4 (fixture goes all to 0 no without a outlet timer plug like in some review videos) is giving me 714 umol at the canopy, 680 umol in canopy, 342 umol bottom of canopy, 18/6 @ 71F/ 65-70% Humidty for a VPD of 0.79 for veg. In 1 week I'm slamming them to max and amend the soil for veg because my main tent is going kinda long.
I did the calculations to convert umol to PPFD to get a correct DLI (Daily Light Input) Im wanting to optimize plant growth, but also impending it just a bit by holding back energy. I was able to trim my load from 1.7 amps to .75 amps. I have no dark spots and will add my DLI umol and distance tomorrow.
Here is the video I found. Pretty fascinating on how to calculate it. I've never had to do this for outdoor gardening lol, this is making it more fun.

I went from $21 a month to run the Propogation Tent, to $6.31 a month. So with a savings of $14.69 a month, new light was $79 on sale, it should only take around 6 months to pay for the light and adaptor for Controller AI to pay for itself, all while giving me near full canopy light penetration. Light should last for 5 years or so, and has the best ratings in light in both PPFD and DLI for a 2x2 light likable and controllable light. Plus it only reg 91F when in full 100% get er dun mode. Great decision :-)
Gonna run a Ozone machine in main tent for a hour, air out and then start these girls in the main tent. Been cleaning , sterilized everything, all walls and environment cleaned also in lung room. All equipment scrubbed and cleaned, fixing gravity watering from AC and then pics. So excited!
Transplanted into 5 Gallon containers, soil blend , watered with Stash Blend. Will feed once a week with stash, gravity watering rest of time.
Loving doing this grow in my super soil mix, auto watering from AC Infinity has been a game changer for plant growth. I used approx 4 gallon of water the last week or so. Starting in Propogation tent shaved lits of time off, but my poor planning on first grow set them back. Im glad they've recovered.
I added a small Vevor dehumidifier and that got humidity issues under control . Also added better water O2 supplementation with better pumps and connections.
Yea a/c like the Cadillac of lights wish I could afford it
I opted to buy once cry once. But I have to say, the Viperspectra XS1500 i have in my prop tent is kick ass. Like, im seriously contemplating removing the bar light, buying 2 more of the Viperspectra and going with that. Plants aren't keeping the same height, and that would allow me to raise them independently. The output is on par with my IonBeam and it's alot cheaper. The Migro channel on YouTube has a good breakdown of the light, with the exception that now it will turn all the way off without a control plug to shut off electricity. Its a solid light, doesn't put out much heat below 60%, above 60%-70% you would probably need a fan, other than that, no complaints. Plus it's like $89 bucks US right now.
Here's the one im talking about. This thing is bad ass. Only thing I would recommend is getting plugs for the rj11 jacks located on top so you don't get moisture in unused ports. https://a.co/d/01IlGWDr
The best strain in the world π
Right?!??!?! Frickin love this strain! I want to experiment and see what I could cross that might be delicious also.
i got a couple ideas from my favorites: GSC x Pineapple Express GSC x Green Crack GSC x Sour D
π₯Ήπ₯Ήπ₯Ήπ₯Ήπ₯π₯π₯π₯
GSC and Pineapple Express? that would be badass. I bought i think all(kidding btw lol, there is alot of Genetics out there wow) of the Genetics from Pacific seed bank so I had variety, but don't think I got PE. But I ordered it just now. That might be a excellent combo
